Pelican Beach Resort 518, 5th floor 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom 955 sq.ft. condo with Wifi, Free Parking, Cable TV, Netflix, Beach Chairs, Umbrella aiming best class service is right on the beach with great views of Gulf Coast from the balcony. No road crossings, just go down and enjoy our private beach Pelican Beach offers the dream vacation with BEST views, sand and sea in the area at 5 minute drive from heart of Destin, Harborwalk Village and across Big Kahuna Water & Adventure Park. This condo features; * Stainless range, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher. Vacuum cleaner, iron & ironing board, hair dryers. * Coffee machine (drip+K-cup), toaster, blender, kettle, full kitchenware * Master bedroom has a king size bed with a Smart TV, direct door to master bathroom with tub * Guest bedroom has a queen size bed with a Smart TV, direct door to guest bathroom with roll-in shower * Sofa in the living room is a sleep sofa which converts into a queen bed * HD Cable TV (Cox Ultimate channels) and high speed Wi-Fi * Washer/dryer in the unit * Board games * Two beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler along with ice packs for the use of our guests. You also have an option to rent umbrellas and chairs on the beach. IMPORTANT: Tents and canopies are NOT allowed on the beach, just umbrellas. Private umbrellas are only allowed behind the rows of rental umbrellas. * Keyless entry door lock system, no keys during your stay with your unique code. You can also set up your own 3-6 digit code. Your welcome package will have startup supply of bottled water, coffee, toilet papers, travel size shampoo, hand soaps in both bathrooms, paper towel, dish liquid, new dish sponge, dishwasher(2) and laundry(1) tablets. Pelican Beach Resort is one of the most popular resorts in Destin right on the beach with no roads to cross and has; * on site security with a guarded gate, 24/7 front desk, * heated swim-out indoor and 3 outdoor pools, kiddie pool, 2 hot tubs, * sauna, steam room, fitness center, * seasonal beach service (paid), beach side Tiki Bar, * seasonal deli and convenience store, * arcade room, tennis and pickleball courts, * vending machines, * free covered/uncovered parking with paid EV chargers, * and outdoor gas grills Our goal is to provide you a family owned place to stay that makes you feel like you’re in a home -away from home- to make sure you will return for years. We will be available to you 24/7 if you need us. HOUSE AND RESORT RULES - 1 parent/adult guardian over 25 years of age is required for every 3 unmarried guests under 25 years of age to check-in. - Tents and canopies are NOT allowed on the beach, just umbrellas. Private umbrellas are only allowed behind the rows of rental umbrellas. - No smoking anywhere in the building, unit or on the balcony (except designated area on the ground floor). - Pets are not allowed. We all love our furry friends, but unfortunately HOA does not allow any pets in the resort premises. - Rates are quoted for entered occupancy and extra person fees may apply if occupancy is increased after booking. - We do not provide beach towels and do not allow any towels, sheets, bedspreads to be removed from our condo. - Guest will be required to e-sign our rental contract upon booking. Conveniently located next to an elevator (although it was out of order at the time) luckily the stairs were right there as well and a great alternative. lots of storage space and we loved using the balcony. the pools and easy beach access were lovely and the pelican cafe food was actually really good. we would definitely stay here again!

The host texted me personally to make sure everything was good after check-in. Everything was clean and had all the supplies there I needed. I could see the beach and pool from the balcony which was nice.

Took my dad (65), and younger brother (32) on a long boys weekend. Property was as described and perfect. Good ocean view. Building has nice layout for all rooms to have an ocean view, even as the furthest room back from the beach. Elevator next to room was out of order, which required a little more walking, but was nothing problematic. Would stay again!

Property was wonderful. Place was clean and comfortable with everything and more that we needed. Only problem was the balcony was being painted while we were there so we missed having coffee outside while we were there. Our host was very apologetic and reimbursed us a very nice amount for our inconvenience. It was still a wonderful getaway for us during a difficult time in our life. Would love to come back again soon.

Entire complex is undergoing a painting project but we were made aware of this before arrival and excellent communication was maintained about the progress.

Everything was great and room was super clean. Owner was very responsive when there was a minor issue with one television. I love hearing the sound of the ocean, but that was impacted by the sound of AC units on the roof of the common area (fitness center).

Pelican Beach was conveniently located on route 98 in Destin. Our unit, while not facing the gulf directly, was convenient to the elevator and parking lot. The furniture was adequate for our needs. Our unit was clean and well maintained. As an older property, there was a definite lack of electric outlets in the bedrooms.

Great Condo!
We have stayed in several condos over the years when we come to Destin, and the Pelican Resort did not disappoint! With three pools and direct access to the beach, there was always plenty of room to swim. The beach chair company affiliated with these condos was awesome! They were friendly, organized, and courteous. Our condo was clean and overlooked one of the pools. It was also on the end right next to an elevator, which was convenient. The condo was a lot like an upscale hotel (toiletries, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc.). There were black washcloths monogrammed with the word “make-up” along with make-up wipes so as to not use white cloths! Talk about details! We will definitely be stay here again next summer! Thank you!

Great location
Condo provided everything we needed for our trip to Destin. We had a view of the beach, easy access to the beach, and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. This is a popular condo building with many rooms, so keep in mind that the elevators can get congested during peak travel times. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, but if you plan on doing any cooking, you will need to bring your own seasonings and cooking oil/spray.

The unit was cleaned very well the washer and dryer was very useful for washing my personal beach towels and the provided bathroom towels. The host was responsive to my questions. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, pots & pans. I cooked breakfast everyday and lunch twice. The ice maker worked well. We used the provided beach chairs daily.
He provided a great email of the things to do in the are.a. I would rent from this owner again and highly recommend this condo for others who are considering.

Condo was lovely! Toilet overflow, however owner got a maintenance man out right away and housekeeping brought fresh towels. Very impressed with the responsiveness.

We rented and did not use any of these items. The kitchen was furnished with the bare minimum. One roll of paper towel, no storage containers, or Foil, or Saran Wrap, one garbage bag. The coffee make still had a used K/cup in the machine. The bathrooms were only furnished with one roll of TP, and no tissues/Kleenex’s. On the upside the lay out of the condo was perfect for us, two rooms, and two bathrooms. We wished there would have been more counter bar stools, 2 was very minimal. The view from our room was great, however our balcony was right next to the rooftop that had all of the air conditioning units, so it was very loud. The power went off in our unit and the owner was on it, and got the issue taken care of in a very timely manner. Pelican resort was a good location and all the staff was very friendly and willing to go out if their way to help if needed. If you were driving, unlike us we flew, you could bring more of the missing items to make a more comfortable vacation. Our first trip, so we will be more prepared on our next visit.

Girls getaway
The property was perfect, set up, location, amenities, food options during the day and easy access to beach right on property. We had everything we needed right there, never left the resort except for dinner. Had a great time and plan on making it a yearly trip!
