Located in South Lake Tahoe, this charming cabin for $399 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Beautifully remodeled in 2016, this is a picture-perfect woodsy Tahoe cabin with rustic elegance. The location is fantastic, across the street from the National Forest and close to family friendly activities (hiking, biking, skiing, Lake Tahoe, etc). This cabin is perfect for couples, families, and furry friends (well-behaved house-trained dogs; the property is fully fenced). Every effort has been made to provide a cozy bed and breakfast like experience. The cabin has been set up with a brand new fully equipped kitchen and luxurious spa like main bathroom, entertainment center, an additional full bathroom in the master bedroom, and new beds and down comforters. Enjoy a long soak in the oversized main bathtub. There is an entry way mud room efficiently setup to store wet helmets, gloves, ski boots, and jackets. Each bedroom has an individual wall heater, which allow personalized temperature settings. There is a large flat screen TV in the family room with a DVD player, and a selection of DVD's and games. This cabin is a tranquil place to relax as a couple or family in front of the cozy fireplace or enjoy the new 6-person hot tub. The location is fantastic. Walk or ride your bikes directly to the many beautiful trails, the best beaches in Lake Tahoe, and more. Heavenly and Sierra at Tahoe ski resorts are a very short drive away, as are Casinos if you want to test your luck. I stayed here with my Fiance and brother and sister in law. Although we didn't get too much snow during our stay we did get to see two bears while we hiked so that was great! We also enjoyed how clean and nicely decorated the house was. The host pays attention to the details and had a nicely stocked kitchen. We will miss their great Jacuzzi and big yard for the dogs as well. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Amazing stay! (Thanks Steve.) We loved this place from the moment we walked in. It was quaint, cozy, quiet and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were really comfortable. Also, the bathrooms and showers were excellent. We really enjoyed having a couple of meals with the family outside on the patio. Such a great place in a great location. Last but not least, Steve was very welcoming, helpful and easy to talk to from the start. I would highly recommend staying here. We hope to return soon!

This cozy cabin is just as described and my wife and I can't wait to come back with the kids. We stayed during the Memorial week to do some hiking, bike riding, and kayaking around the lake and the location was great for splitting distances between our adventures. Located right on the outskirts of town, it was the perfect balance of being in a quiet neighborhood but with very close access to all amenities. The house was fully stocked with everything you might need plus a few extras. Although we stayed as a couple, we were excited about how much space there was to bring our kids the next time we come!

Our family had a great time in this home. We cooked a few meals together, and it was the perfect distance to the ski resort Heavenly. It’s also close to restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely return.

The property is exactly as described. The house is well insulated making it very quiet. The neighborhood is peaceful with trails within a few blocks. The kitchen is very well equipped. The European decor is delightful. The bathrooms are up to date and gracious as well as well supplied with necessities. The bedrooms are comfortable. All three are on the second floor. The master has its own bath, but the other bedrooms use the 1st floor bathroom. We strung Christmas lights we found in the desk around the bannister to illuminate the stairs at night. It was low key and very helpful. It was a very lovely stay.

The house was just what we needed in Lake Tahoe! The hot tub was a great addition to have. The only downside is the 5 seating in the living room because we had 6 people otherwise everything was perfect!

Very comfortable cabin in a nice and quiet neighborhood close to trails into the woods and forest. Very quiet. Close to town and shopping as well as lots of beaches, waterfalls, Mother Nature. And, Dogs are welcome!

The cabin was a wonderful getaway for our family of 4 + pup! It’s located right by some great hiking trails, which were so fun to explore each day, and a short drive into the main hub of South Lake. The cabin was clean, roomy for all of us to have our own space, and also gather together around the fireplace for board games & such. The fenced in yard gave our 50# pup ample room to roam about when we weren’t out on the trails, too. Communication with the owner, Steve, was easy & clear. He even reached out to check in about a neighbor coming to clear a nest, which was thoughtful. Would definitely return for a future visit to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The neighborhood was nice and quiet while still central to amenities and places to go snowshoeing. The cabin was indeed cozy and it was lovely to soak in the hot tub after a day out in the woods. We also really appreciated that the place is pet friendly; it wouldn't have been right to leave our fluffy northern breed dog at home in the Bay while we were in Tahoe getting to enjoy the snow!

Snow trip for our family of four. My young girls had hours of fun playing in the snow in the front and backyards. The pictures on the listing honestly don’t do this place justice. There’s a small flight of stairs leading up to the three bedrooms and every room was immaculately clean. We would definitely stay here again!

It was amazing each room had its own heating beautiful fire place . Kitchen was up to date definitely BBQ a few meals on the front porch that was a bounes. Takeing a long hike and comeing back to a hot spa was definitely my favorite . I would definitely come back again. Thank you again my friend it was a pleasure.
