About this house rental
Nestled in Dillon Beach, this charming house for $743 per night is a great option for your next trip. "BEACHWALK",( a simple beach house), a 3-minute walk to the beach, HOT TUB, Large HOT ROCK SAUNA, ELECTRIC MASSAGE CHAIR, PINBALL Machine, Pac-Man Machine w/ 60 other games. PlayStation 4 & Fireplace; as well as electric heat. Belgium Waffle Machine, popcorn & Ice Cone Machine. 4 person maximum, at all times, including guests & children, due to septic system capacity. No guests or parties. Age minimum of primary renter= 25. Pets allowed, dog-friendly beach. Coffee maker; drip, Keurig, expresso, grinder & bring your own favorite coffee. There are no stairs in the house( a small number of stairs at the outside deck); good for wheelchair accessibility. Walk a 3 minute sandy path at the front of the house to the water or walk on a small road; which will take just a little longer. Fantastic views, closest to the beach of all Dillon Beach homes, Dog-friendly beach. Pets allowed (please pay the pet fee on the VRBO site); shedding dogs keep brushed, uncontrolled barking not allowed, if you go out & leave your dog alone & please don't leave your dog alone the first night, please clean up the back sandy area of dog pop. Sand dunes, tidal pools, dune grass, and magnificent unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean sunset. It is a fantastic surfing beach. Watch waves break onto the beach and listen to the surf while sitting in this beachfront house. Great place for children; to make sand castles, explore rock inlets and tidal pools at the north end of the beach, hunt for the unknown during the low tide exposed beach, or play for hours in the tall sand dunes. View Parasail surfers, boogie boarders, and longboard surfers, or do it all for yourself. It is the perfect beach with no underwater rocks. Star gazing couldn't be better. Bring your telescope! Let the waves lull you to sleep. Wheelchair cannot roll to outside main deck area due to 3 steps. Please bring your own firewood for the fireplace; there is also electric heat. Bar soap is not provided, but liquid soap is provided. This is a very simple beach house,(not a modern house; as renters expect) & due to its very close position to the Pacific Ocean,(which renters prefer), does take contestant upkeep; due to the exposure it gets.

Unfortunately this was a 74th birthday weekend. I had a serious case of the flu. Asked owner if I could reschedule but he said no he couldn’t refund. Didn’t ask for refund just reschedule. Had to stay in bed. Internet was being repaired so no tv or phone. Repairman came in afternoon. When he left the internet went out every 3 mins. Frustrated I called the guys multiple times. Finally stayed on in late evening.
Cottage is lovely. Needs some repairs. Every sliders locks were broken used sticks in rail. Nail in wall with sofa instructions dangerous for anyone sitting on the couch . Everything was clean and I would come back to this lovely spot again. Could use steak knives as the only sharp knives were huge.
Lots of amenities, sauna, hot tub, pin ball, massage chair. Beautiful beach view, very private.

The lights outside don’t work and putting tape on them is not a fix,The shower is not enough to wash yourself and I’m bald,My wife is Hispanic and has long hair and it’s impossible to wash her hair.The bbq is older than me ,Invest in a new $ bbq once in a couple years..The curtains we’re non existent in the front room as he told me but made sure to charge for pet fee.The furnishings were moved and was told they would be moved back to there normal spots but were not..I love this place for sure but being honest how I feel is just me..And the bright side the pinball machine was awesome and the massage chair was a big plus…But I’d give up both to have a shower that my wife and I could shower properly.,I hope this helps because it’s a great place but nobody says what I did..I might be blocked from ever renting again but if soo those things would be greatly appreciated.Also we left the place spotless.,ask the cleaning lady.I’ve rented here twice.Love it for the most part..Thanks,

Loved the house! We had some trouble figuring out the 2 TV's. My only complaint about outside was the deck out front had glass around it, to protect you from the wind, which was great, but it was very dirty from the salty air. I suppose. Wasn't great to look through. Other than that, the hot tub, massage chair and sauna were great! Oh....the light inside the sauna was not working...or we didn't know how to turn it on??? Perfect location! Thanks so much! We will definitely return!

Tucked away in the heart of this beautiful beachtown, this property exceeded expectations. We loved the furnishings, access to the beach, and view. After a very hard month, we came here to recharge. I greatly appreciated the massage chair, which I used often during our stay. The pinball machine was a fun addition that occupied my partner while I was focused on my massage! Well organized and laid out, the furniture was great for stretching out for a movie. We appreciated the additional blankets in the bedroom. The inside of the house was very clean. The master bed was so comfortable, with resort-like bedding. Our dog moved about freely and we felt safe allowing her to roam. We brought her crate just in case but realized we had no need for it, as she wasn't able to reach anything or get into trouble. We wished we utilized the sauna, hot tub, and fireplace, but ended up spending time either staying warm indoors, cooking and eating, or enjoying the local general goods store and restaurant. Next time we'll utilize those, as we definitely will return! There was plenty of space for 4 other adults, with a 2nd bedroom and sofa bed. The backyard was nice for a grownup vacation, but we didnt feel comfortable letting our dog freely roam back there. The beach elements had worn away at the wooden decks and rusted the sharp stone holder by the sauna. She's clumsy and gets hurt easily. We also found old poo on the deck. We only wish the doors locked more securely and the bedroom tv had roku.

We really enjoyed the location and the layout of the house. We loved being a minutes walk from the beach and the having the view of the open ocean all across the front of the house. The neighbors are kind and helpful. The house has lots of light and the roar of the ocean is 24/7. There is a small store close by and the old Dillon neighborhood just a minute walk from the front door. The bed was really comfortable and we enjoyed the message chair. We had a great getaway.

Dillon Beach is very remote for sure but the location of the property could not be better. Sit in the hot tub and watch the sunset and hear the waves crashing - beautiful! The listing is very accurate. This is not modern as some renters expect. It is more rustic. Due to the conditions, you will need to do a little work if you want to sit on the deck or use the sauna as they needed to be cleaned up. If you live within driving distance, you could bring items such as beach towels and beach chairs. You will only have bath towels here. Access to a clothes dryer would be nice as you will have wet towels and bathing suits. The bedrooms are tight but the living space is very large. Very dog friendly beach and fun to watch the surfers. Plenty of windows to enjoy an amazing view!

The property was just as described, and was very comfy and well-equipped. The walk to the beach was just a few minutes, and the sound of the ocean waves from the house was exactly what I needed!

The location was amazing and the house had everything we needed and then some! Beautiful decor! Way better than the pics! We could’ve had better weather, but the hot tub, pin ball machine, views, and Wi-Fi/movies made it so great! So close to the beach that we were able to hop over between the rains then come back and warm up, repeat. Great communication with the property owner. Highly recommend. We can’t wait to go back! For well behaved dogs, It was also perfect with a lovely enclosed back yard.

Fabulous location with spectacular views. Enjoyed the hot tub and the beach. Had a little problem with septic but host acted quickly. Hubby and I enjoyed our 30th anniversary getaway. Hope to go back.

This is my second time coming to this rental in March. The weather was less favorable this time, but my dog and I don't care! It is steps from the beach, the hot tub is a wonderful way to warm up, and the views are amazing. The pinball machine was an addition that I didn't expect to enjoy as much as we did.

Check in was a little delayed but our Host Ben was on it right away and corrected the issues. He stayed in touch to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The house was friendly and warm. Quirky but so enjoyable with its surroundings. Power went out for awhile during the storm, but our flashlights and fireplace kept us cozy. We could not find candles or flashlights at the house, but I’m sure they were somewhere? We really loved the place, we would be happy to rent again.

We absolutely loved staying here. The jacuzzi and sauna were like having a spa treatment and we used it at nighttime. The house has amazing views of the beach and ocean. I would buy this house if I could. Love it!

We were looking for a nice place to stay close to the beach that welcomed dogs, and this property truly delivered. Steps from the beach (and easily accessible for my 79 y/o mom), and walking distance to the tiny downtown, the location can't be beat. This is the only vrbo rental I've been to that has a massage chair, and I used it right away. Beds were comfy. The hot tub was nice, though in the very cold weather I would have appreciated it being set a degree or two higher. Our dogs loved the beach, and the fenced in yard was perfect for them. The single bathroom and small kitchen are tiny factors overwhelmed by the location and other amenities of the property.

You could just spend all your time gazing out the glass doors onto the ocean, or sunset or sunrise. You’re a 3 minute walk from the glorious beach.
The house was very comfortable, although it could have used a better supply of paper towels, Kleenex, napkins and placemats, dishwasher detergent and a working blender.
But again, the house is mostly dreamy and idyllic, the perfect retreat for a couple looking for peace, quiet and beauty.

You can't beat the location on this place - you can't get any closer to the beach without being directly on the sand. We didn't use most of the amenities (hot tub, etc) so I can speak to how they are, but the place was clean and bright and the neighborhood was quiet.
