About this house rental
Nestled in Plantation Key, this attractive house for $185 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Paradise in Plantation Key. If you are looking to relax and learn about “Keys Time” you are looking in the right area! Sometimes I come down and relax on the water and others I am paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, scuba diving etc. It is the epitome of true mental relief. My home is conveniently located at Mile Marker 89. It is the upstairs unit only. The downstairs is not available for rental. The units are separate with there own private entrances. If you are planning to bring your boat great! They are welcome, I have plenty of parking at the residence. This is a 28 day rental. This is a pet free rental - we do not allow pets on the property. There is room for your boat and recreational watercraft with 45 feet of dock space available in this deep water canal however, you will need to load it at a local ramp. The closest ramp and pool is at Founders Park (MM 87). Founders Park offers activity or relaxation for the whole family. An Olympic-sized pool with diving area, a shallow water beach, water sports rentals, ball fields, fishing jetty, bocce, tennis and basketball courts, vita course with 18 exercise stations, multi-purpose path, skate park and dog park all are within the 40-acre park. Fees may apply. But seriously if you're in the Keys…no pool…... GO TO THE BEACH OR OUT ON THE WATER! Florida Bay is just minutes away with one turn onto the head canal. Waterfront marina or convenient store is available for fueling and bait at the basin of the head canal. You are welcome to fish from the dock. I have a fish cleaning station available. You will see all types of sea life in our canal. You can walk to a local grocery store for supplies. The nice people at Payfair will prepare you some delicious subs and wrap them for the cooler. They are also known to be one of the best butcher shops in the area. They always have a very nice selection of meat if you didn’t catch your dinner! ;) Or you can walk over to 'Craig's Restaurant' for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Make sure you try the famous fish sandwich YUM!! Hope to hear from you soon.

The property had everything we needed to get to the fishing in the Tavernier/Islamorada area. We had boat docking in a deep canal with direct access to the Florida Bay (Gulf of Mexico) and a short ride to the ocean via Tavernier Creek. A manatee and her calf occupied the canal which was fun to watch but we needed to be cautious with the boat not to injure the animals. Bait shops, grocery stores and restaurants are close by. The lodging was clean and comfortable. The rental is on the second story so be ready and fit to climb some stairs. Tresa was a great host and we had a great stay.

I loved everything about our stay other then the cleaning company really dropped the ball. Linens were stopped from beds and left laying on the floor (dirty) in front of the washing machine, dust/dirt on the floor, etc. We had to rush around late at night to get laundry detergent to wash the linens so we could sleep as well as spent 2 hours cleaning the house and disinfecting due to the poor job done by the cleaning agency. The house was in great shape and well taken care of. The host was great and very accommodating. I would definitely be willing to stay there again as long as the cleaning is more thourough.

My son and I and my father in law came down from Michigan and brought our boat with us to enjoy some scuba diving. Staying at Tresa’s place made our experience that much more enjoyable. We were able to dock our boat right behind where we were staying. And when we would arrive from a long day out on the water, we were able to dock our boat and walk right into where we were staying to cool off. Tresa’s place is very nice and very clean. It is in a location that is close to every where we needed to be at as well. She was easy to communicate with and helped make our experience that much better.

Perfect location
We loved our stay at this property. The owners were friendly, helpful and great at communicating. The location is perfect. You can walk across the street to eat at a locally owned restaurant, get a visitors pass to Founder's Park, you're close to a grocery store, pharmacy, local shops and restaurants. You'll even see a few manatee swim up to the dock. We had the best trip, and will be booking future trips to stay at this property.

This was our first vbro rental and this was the best case senario, a very nice house better than described with everything so nearby that you can walk to most places yet had a smalltown feel. I would recommend this jewel to anyone. My wife enjoyed the manatees the most out of everything we did in the 10 days we were there. They showed up at random right off of the private dock.

Salt Life 2014
I wanted to take the time to let the owners know what a wonderful time we all had staying at their place in the beautiful Florida Keys. We were fortunate enough to meet both Anna and Joe towards the end of our stay. They are great people. This home is located in the perfect spot because it allows you to access all points of interest in the Florida Keys really quick. The beaches are outstanding and not far. Same goes with the fishing you can access both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic. Perfect spot to stay if you are a diver or snorkeler. Like others have mentioned the dock is ideal if you are traveling with a boat. I would stay here again and again no complaints.

Excellent for boaters!
If you are looking for a place to keep your boat while you vacation, this place is perfect! We have a 33' foot Hydra-Sport Express and the boat parking was perfect! Clean and well furnished. The apt is located in a convenient spot and it's in a great location if you want to sport or fish around in Islamorada, and the surrounding keys. A great restaurant is right across the street too!

The upstairs unit was clean and well furnished. Islemorada is a good central location in the keys. We had manatees and tarpon in the canal by the home every day. There was good parking for our vehicle and boat. Overall we had a great vacation.

You will never want to leave - this rental is awesome. I found this rental home beautiful and well maintained. The house is spacious and you could not ask for a more peaceful and scenic view. Super great place and all of the things that you need. Walking distant to excellent restaurant and grocery store. Very clean and very nice. Beautiful inside and out and the owners as nice as the place. Fantastic restaurants, shops, snorkeling and charter fishing within a few miles north or south. We will definitely be back - soon and frequently.
