Located right on the Atlantic Ocean, in the heart of the Florida Keys on Plantation Key - the sport fishing and diving capital of the world. Islamorada is your local hot spot for fishing, diving, kayaking and paddle boarding, water sports, shopping, sight-seeing, bird watching, biking, nature trails, and experiencing the nightlife in the Keys.

The Space:
This comfortable 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom condominium unit on 4th floor is recently redecorated. It has a wonderful open floor plan with the kitchen prep and eating areas open to the living room, which opens onto the oversized balcony with a slightly angled ocean view.
TV's in all rooms--46" in the living room, 32" in the master, and 24" in the second bedroom. Free Wifi, Cable TV and 1 DVD player and DVDs included, as well as private high-speed internet.
Shared coin laundry available on every floor!

The Neighborhood:
Building is very secure with surveillance cameras throughout. Heated swimming pool, kayak launch, beach area with tiki huts and laundry facilities just steps away. Restaurants in the area include Harbor Cafe, Old Tavernier and the newest addition, The Crooked Palm Cabana. Kayak rentals are available close by as well and some of the companies offer drop off at Sea Gulls.
Getting Around:
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
If you are arriving via car and have a GPS / SatNav system in the car, please use 200 Wrenn Street, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1.
Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there is. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area.
You can reach Sea Gulls by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Wrenn Street, traversing the Old Highway at mile marker 89.9, right before Coral Shores Highschool.
GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR
We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore:
KEYS AIRPORT SHUTTLE provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports.
The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys.
CAR PARKING
Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to our unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming.

The only problem we experienced was the door issue besides that loved the place thanks for letting us stay.

4th floor offers good view of Gulf from balcony. Balcony access from living room and master bedroom. Did not expect condiments , but essentials were there. Quiet room. Comfortable furniture and bed. Pool is relatively large and relaxing for soaking. Door a little finicky to open and close smart lock, but fine after some practice. I did not use it but pullout bed from sofa really a plus.

For two days of our 7day stay we had renovation going on next door that made so much noise we could not stay in our condo. Sounded like a jackhammer taking out lots of tile. We requested a partial refund from the company we rented from and were denied. You would think no construction should be going on during February, prime rental season in Florida Keys.
