Great property, very private location, main house provides a great meeting place, meals and family fun with private casitas. The pool, view, and deck are all amazing. The staff was incredible, Fanny is wonderful and Siria is a great addition for custom meals at the house.
The house is located about 20 min north of the main city area which is a convenient location to run into the city but there a many fruit stands, groceries and restaurants along the way.
We would definitely stay here again.

Terrific vacation at Villa Turquesa. Our group of 17 ranged in age from 2-92. We went to Belize to celebrate our dad's 92nd birthday. The accommodations were perfect for our group, everyone had their own space and a communal space for eating and relaxing. My strong recommendation is to hire Siria, the cook. We ate her fabulous cooking for breakfast and dinner for our entire 6-night stay. Hands down Siria made the trip for us. It was so easy and convenient to choose the meals from a full menu and easy to communicate with her. Highly recommend the pork ribs with mole sauce with coconut rice and vegetables, but seriously everything was absolutely delicious. Her daughter, a baker, made a decadent chocolate birthday cake for our dad even providing a sparkler for the candle! So sweet. Siria would let us know dinner was ready, we'd get out of the pool, dry off, and sit down to a family dinner and she and her helper (her granddaughter) would clean up after. Such luxury!! I also recommend hiring Island Divers (Rudy) to set up snorkeling, ruin, and cave tubing tours (Onofre aka Junior was our great guide for the ruins and cave tubing). They were prompt, knowledgeable, and a lot fun! They picked us up at the dock right out in front of the house and dropped us off after. Can't say enough about our trip to Belize!

The house was bigger then we thought. We loved having a main house no one slept in and could be a gathering place for anyone that was awake. Fanny and her husband live on property and were there to help with any questions or to save you if you had golf cart problems. They were very sweet and easy to work with.

We had an amazing time. Our host was in communication from the time we booked until we arrived. She ensured we had the supplies we needed and transportation from Belize City all the way to the dock! The chef she arranged was marvelous, We had breakfast every morning and two dinners. She also had great suggestions for dinner spots and made reservations. Truly a great concierge experience. The on site caretaker made sure we were comfortable, picked up additional supplies, and answered any on site questions. I highly recommend !

Our family gathered at Villa Turquesa on Ambergris Caye for 6 days. It was a wonderful trip that our family will not soon forget.
The property is in a beautiful, quiet setting north of town. We rented a golf cart and used the taxi service of Roki to move our family of 12 into San Pedro when needed. Each of the villa's bedrooms were very clean with fresh flowers .
We loved the pool and outside area that looks at the sea. Plenty of seating for all of us. The white sandy beach was well maintained and cleared of the sargassum so there was no smell and swimming in front of the property was nice. We all enjoyed swimming from the dock and sitting out there watching the fish, the resident eel, the birds, and all the other marine life. The kayaks were a delight to use to paddle out to the reef for additional marine sightings.
We thank each of the people who made Villa Turquesa special.
Doni and Fanny were amazing. They not only maintained the property but cut coconuts for fresh drinks, and even brought supplies back from town if needed.
Siria was AMAZING. She cooked 6 breakfasts and 3 dinners for us. Empanadas, jacks, stewed chicken, fresh fish in banana leaves, unbelievable refried beans, fresh juices couldn't be topped by any other cook.
Nathalee was wonderful. Arranged for our golf cart, introduced us to the locals- taxi driver, Roki; tour guide, Rudy (shark alley etc and Mayan ruins with Oscar) and helped each step of the planning.
We loved Villa Turquesa!

Villa Turquesa was perfect for our group! Although I was somewhat confused by the online description, it turned out even better than I hoped with separate quarters for everyone and large indoor and outdoor gathering areas. The location and views were absolutely incredible, the pool area fabulous - there aren’t enough superlatives. Fani and Dony took care of us, the house and the grounds on a daily basis, and we wanted for nothing. A huge thank you to them both. Special thanks to Siria, the cook/chef for remarkable breakfasts and dinners. The hotel/restaurant/bar right next door became a second hangout for our group, so convenient and welcoming. We rented golf carts, but they ended up being a bit much for some of our old bones, so we used a super taxi service - just ask Nathalee or Fani for Rocky. All in all, definitely a 5 star experience in Belize.

Two families stayed at this property over spring break. It could easily have fit a third or even forth family. The central living space is great when everyone wants to be together and then the separate villas are great when you need alone time. We loved getting picked up on the dock for boating activities.
As you've probably read, there is currently a seaweed problem in the Caribbean and even the coast of US. Belize has been hit with this seaweed. And it does smell, but Villa Turquesa does a good job of removing the seaweed from the front of their house and their beach. You will still get the smell on that side of the island...so I suggest many trip to secret beach, boat rides & spend time at the end of the dock. No smells there.
Nathalee is a good resource. I do recommend communicating via WhatsApp or phone calls with her. You'll get a quicker response. The property is a bit far from town, but luckily there is a bar/restaurant next door. We ate there...A LOT!

The layout of a main house with kitchen and family room in the middle of the property surrounded by 5 different villas of various size make for a Perfect setup for a multi family trip. It's an easy 20 minute golf cart ride to San Pedro, but having a bar (John's Escape) that serves lunch right next door to the property was extremely convenient for the non-excursion days where we just wanted to grab something quick and get back to the pool/beach. The option of having a chef (Siria) cook meals for us was also something we really took advantage of, and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend this property for bigger groups.

We had15 family members, ages 3 to 64. Overall, the week was a disappointment.
Issues:
1. The actual bed configurations in the 3-bedroom house were fewer and smaller than shown on VRBO site. They said it had been corrected, but I still see the incorrect info.
2. Communication with Nathalee was inconsistent and confusing. Just book flights, transportation, carts and excursions yourself to avoid errors and frustration. I sent messages with multiple questions, but she would usually only answer the last one. She is better over the phone than in writing.
3. Do not expect to have food or drinks in any of the villas or private gathering areas. Also, don't touch your clothes with sticky hands. There is an immediate ant issue if you have even a crumb. When this happened in the common gathering area, there were always people there to stay on top of it.
4. Both sinks and the dishwasher in the main kitchen were backed up the entire week, which was a known problem prior to our arrival. The sinks were half-full of backed up, disgusting water for hours until it eventually drained. The dishwasher would back up with the same putrid water (with dishes inside) and subsequently flood the floor everytime it was used. They/we would then clean it up by soaking up rugs and towels and leaving a dry one, if available, to catch the rest as it leaked out. My son-in-law worked a good hour trying to plunge them, but it was only a temporary fix. They finally brought in some heavy-duty drain opener on the last day we were there. I spent the week trying not to think about how disgusting the kitchen and dishes were.
5. There is not a sufficient supply of towels as they advertise. Despite 12 of us bringing our own beach towels, there were rarely enough clean ones available.
6. Don't expect issues to be immediately resolved. One guest saw a rat in the drawer of the 3-bedroom house kitchen! Since there was no one on the property (contrary to what is advertised), our guests waited for nearly 8 hours to have it addressed. When they did arrive, they acted as though we were lying. The only response I received from Nathalee was "Thanks for the update".This was yet another reason not to use the 3 bedroom house.
7. 4 miles north of San Pedro seems easy, but much of the roads are severely gutted and it was a very rough ride for the youngest and oldest guests.
After spending almost 50% more for this place than others on VRBO, we expect

We had 7 couples and there was plenty of room to spread out. The layout is perfect with the main house that has the big kitchen and the living room in the center of the other rooms.
The house has the on-site house keeper, grounds keeper and optional cook. All were very accommodating and I believe helped make the trip such a success. Fanny, the house keeper, was my main contact while visiting. Any questions or requests went through her. She offered to do laundry and ironed for us as well. She is present but not invasive.
We had Siria, the cook, prepare breakfast for us each day and dinner a couple of nights. All of the food was great and ready at the time we requested. I recommend trying the breakfast empanadas. She prepared them with eggs, bacon and beans inside. One person didn't like eggs and she prepared a few that left them out. There was fresh fruit and juice that she prepared each morning. Dinner was just as good! One night we had fresh lobster and grouper that she had delivered to the pier. Both her and Fanny cleaned up after the meals which allowed us to relax. Siria lives in town and was able to bring us anything we needed if we were not going that way. We had a large group so we prepaid cash for the groceries and paid the per person fee at the end of the trip ($5pp for breakfast and $10pp dinner). Having her cook was more cost efficient then going out for dinner.
The house is a bit of a drive from town. I do recommend golf carts. They are delivered to the house and pick up from the house which made it easy. There is a restaurant/bar next door but it was closed during our visit.

We had a wonderful stay. My husband said the individual villas (bedrooms separate from the main house) kept our families loving each other throughout the stay. THIS IS important. We had Siria (our cook) fix breakfast every morning and it was perfect. She had if ready to give us plenty of time before our outings. She also prepared out Anniversary meal which was extraordinary. We should have had her prepare all our meals. She fixed traditional Belize food which would have been cheaper and better than the town food. She has menu’s for you to peruse and help her plan.
Fani, our housekeeper made sure we had everything we needed. For our 50th anniversary we walked into our suite with beautiful flowers and towel swans on our bed. It made us feel so special. Fani is quiet and not pushy but present.
Our groundskeepers keep the children entertained with coconut water and helped the children fish off the wharf.
As my daughter said, “it was a once in a lifetime vacation” and the staff made it happen.

What a unique and wonderful place to experience true island life in Belize! We were a very large family of 20 that stayed here. With lots of little kids, having the pool so close to the ocean was perfect. There was not a place for the kids to swim off of the beach-I think it would be possible if they could clean up the seaweed on the one side but it’s a lot and I think it’s a losing battle. The kids had a ton of fun jumping off the dock, swimming and fishing, and we saw lots of fish, sting rays, and even a shark or two.
We were able to do a private water taxi which dropped us off and picked us up at the dock which was awesome. The house is 5 miles north of the town of San Pedro and takes about 25 minutes to get there so you have to plan for that.
We hired Siria to do food for us for four meals and they were all amazing! Totally delicious and our most favorite food we ate the entire time! If you can afford it, absolutely use her! She does not do lunch as that doesn’t give her enough time to shop in prep. In addition, you must also pay for the groceries and she does the shopping for you. Food is very expensive in San Pedro-We were shocked and not prepared! There are little grocery stores you can find that have American types of food to make meals but again, everything is extremely expensive. We packed our suitcases full of as many snacks and things as we could. Every day we would have somebody go in to San Pedro in the morning and figure out a plan for whatever meals we needed but at the very least lunch. We love the pupusa place, the bakeries, and got whole roasted chickens a couple of times also.
Natalie was great and helped us get a golf cart and answered our many questions! She was much easier to communicate with over the phone. Some of our text/message exchanges were very confusing to try to understand.
Fanny and the staff were awesome! Fanny was so sweet and took such good care of us! She even went around and collected our laundry so we were going home with clean clothes and not having to go home and do laundry.
Overall we absolutely loved our experience! Having the separate villas gave each couple or family a place to be. The main house was perfect for meals, hanging out at night, and playing games. Definitely took some getting used to, as far as the lifestyle goes with this big of a group, but we absolutely loved it and wouldn’t have changed any of it!

Renting the property was easy. Staff was amazing. Road getting there with golf carts was a bit rough. Beaches full of sargassum seaweed and made the beach inaccessible and smelly. Property accommodations met our expectations for 14 guests.

We had expected "good" and received "great", in all respects. Nathalee, the property manager, was extremely helpful and arranged airport pick-up for our three separate family groups. The property itself was beachside and safe for our smaller children for swimming and snorkeling. Having a pool available was also a plus. We'll be back!

This is a multi-building beach villa. It is beautiful, well furnished, and comfortable for a large group, but the property is showing age.
The staff were excellent. Great food and service.
Caution, bring cash. Lots of cash. Grocery purchases are done by the chef and only take cash. Need cash for tips.
Read the rental agreement especially regarding your chef. We were under the belief that our chef and her husband received the daily per person fee. Not so, we learned. The fee goes to the house. The chef and housekeeper are salaried. We gave both a nice tip but we weren’t expecting the fees not going to the folks doing the work.
Recommend John’s Escape, two minute walk down the beach. Reasonable priced menu, good food, good Margaritas.
Also recommend Go Fish Belize for fishing charters.

Nathalie and the staff were great. The property is beautiful. Directly on the beach. Take advantage of Siria’s cooking. Fanny, Donnie and Steven were always helpful. The ride from DT San Pedro is about 20 minutes by golf cart but plenty of options near the property to eat and hangout.

We have been to the island multiple times but out usual places were booked so we tried this place. Its a great place for a large group - although it was just my family and in laws here so we had plenty of space. Nathalee - the property host - was difficult to communicate with - she didn't seem to understand me with multiple things. English could be her second language Im really not clear on this but some of our exchanges were bizarre. Siria and Omar cooked us breakfast and dinner everyday. Our trip wouldn't have been the same without them. They were phenomenal. The pictures of the waterfront are not accurate. There is no cleaned off beach area - they have stacked rocks here - no beach. This was one of the main reasons we booked the place for our small kids. Also, the dock is not private - you'll share with the neighboring rental houses, resorts and even the caretakers of this place. The onsite caretake agreed that the "internet is not accurate" lol. We were somewhat disappointed with several things but if you are traveling with different families its nice to have your own space.

Villa Tourquesa proved to be a wonderful home for our many families coming from Wyoming to enjoy the warm climbs of Belize.
The separate villas were perfect accommodation for the adults and the Multi-room Casita at the back was a great for our teen posse.
Fanny & Dony we’re always ready to respond when AC units were struggling or when we needed something else. Siria and Omar prepared several beautiful meals on request.
Realizing the world is coming out of a pandemic and Belize is probably just hitting it’s stride again… The cash only exchange situation for trips, taxis, carts, food, etc was constant hassle.
.
And it also was a detriment for meals and food etc. At the Villa…being too cumbersome, especially for a multi family situation. I’m sure it would be hard to provide a service fee upfront with a reconciliation at the end. But having to figure out the food totals, where & when the food was being purchased, and who was participating made it hard not only on us but also on sweet Siria. I would have enjoyed her services more often, but for the larger group, I think it proved too difficult to plan all the time.
So as a side note…bring your cash and practice your math! It was definitely the Vacation of the Math!!
All in all, we’d totally stay again. Everyone was a delight…as always in Belize, the people make it special.

The property was excellent and well taken care of by the staff during our stay. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Our wonderful cook, Siria was an excellent addition to our stay!! Her authentic Belizean cuisine was so delicious we did very little dining away from the villa. There was only one thing that was a complete surprise at the end of our stay. BEWARE: It was not clearly told to me about the per person per meal charges ($5 breakfast, $10 dinner). The charge was mentioned to me in some message exchanges. The confusing part was money being collected each day for food and prep costs. I assumed the per person charge was included in that payment. On our last day, I was presented with a bill for the per person meal charges. I highly recommend the meals cooked by Siria!! Just be aware of additional charges yet to be collected!

We stayed at Villa Turquesa and another property one house away for our wedding. We filled the houses with friends and family and got married on the beach in front of the Villa. It was perfect and beautiful. The staff not only took care of us but made it the wedding I didn't know I was going to have. Siria the cook prepared the food for the wedding, her daughter baked the wedding cake and her husband was our bartender. The staff turned the beach into the perfect wedding venue for our party of 38! None of that was preplanned but before I knew it, we were having a full-on wedding! The generosity of the Belizean people is "unbelizable"!!! It all couldn't have been more perfect and it was all because of the staff who turned my simple wedding into the wedding of a lifetime.

We stayed for 9 days at this property in February and were extremely happy with our stay. There were 12 adults, 5 couples, and 2 singles. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own bedroom and space. The common area and screened-in porches were great for meals and just hanging out. We were extremely happy with the staff. Doni and Fanny were there every day to help with anything needed. Fanny did a great job keeping our bedding, towels, and rooms cleaned. Doni was helpful with the kayaks and paddleboards and anything else we needed during our stay. Siria, the cook, is an amazing cook and her homemade tortillas, empanadas, and chicken dip are a must-try! She also made us one of the most amazing rum cakes I've ever eaten. For breakfast, we enjoyed her fry jacks and stuffed jacks. You cannot stay at this property without enjoying her food while you're there!
The bedrooms and bathrooms are all beautiful. Some of them are on the smaller side, but we didn't spend much time in them as we were busy exploring the island most days. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you would need to make a meal. Pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, cups, plates, etc. are all provided. The 2 pot Bunn coffee pot made it great for a large group of coffee drinkers to keep caffeinated in the mornings (and the Belizian dark roast coffee is SO good!).
The house is a bit of a drive north of town, but totally worth the views and quiet area. There is an amazing little bar next door (John's Escape Bar) with great staff and awesome food. Just down the beach, a little further south is the Sundiver resort with a fun little bar and really awesome food as well. To the north, you can find a great, slightly more upscale bistro at the Matachica resort and the Moon Bar, just past Matachica, is a great place for pizza.
The host was easy to communicate with and checked in with us throughout the trip to be sure we had everything we needed. She also arranged to have the golf carts delivered to the house the morning after we arrived and had vans at the airport to pick us up when our plane landed. She also arranged for our return home Covid tests to be done at the house for all of us, so we didn't have to worry about getting them done in town.
The entire island is a blast to explore and I am so glad we chose this location to spend our vacation at. I would stay at this house again in a heartbeat when returning to the island in the future.

We had been planning on a 200 person wedding before COVID, which quickly turned into a bad idea. We had to reevaluate, and decided by the time we were ready, a destination wedding would be more enjoyable. We eloped at home and planned to celebrate at Villa Turquesa in January 2022. The whole trip was a whirlwind and absolutely lovely. Nathalee was very responsive prior to booking. She was available to discuss transportation options, activities, and set realistic expectations. Nathalee organized golf carts for us, which met us at the Water Taxi, and provided excellent insight into what to prepare for while staying at Villa Turquesa.
The neighborhood doesn't have a lot of nearby attractions, groceries, or restaurants. So be prepared to need a golf cart or 2 to get around. There are paddle boards and kayaks on site which our group used, and we played a few games of cornhole. The Dock area was nice to hangout, and the pool was nice to hang out by. Considering we only had adults with us, it was a little tight. Most couples shared the main rooms, and then some room shares were had too. Most rooms are their own structure organized around the common room/kitchen. The master has a king bed, then there is a second "master" has a king. There are 2 smaller rooms with king beds as well, and finally a little house with 3 rooms. 1 has a bunk bed, top bunk is a twin, bottom is a full. 1 room with a queen bed, and the last room has a king (I think). The little house has it's own fridge and kitchen area. We slept 14 adults comfortably, however, if we had pushed it to 16 it would have been VERY tough. The common room was wonderful to have to keep everyone's sanity. We could come and go as we pleased and enjoy time together in the kitchen or by the pool while maintaining space from the rooms and small house for hangover's sake. We had a great time playing party games.
Villa Turquesa's staff was by far the best part of our experience! Fanny and Siria were absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend having Siria cook a few meals while visiting! The grounds are well kept, clean, and, especially during a COVID surge, the staff were very respectful of safety, distancing, and cleanliness.
While there, we came down with COVID, and Nathalee was wonderful and supportive while we were stressing about not being able to go home. We were able to stay at Villa Turquesa a few extra days, which was a wonderful way to quarantine!
TLDR:
Villa Turquesa is amazing.

We made it work, comfortable, a little dated but that was no surprise to me. It’s an extremely large property for 1 housekeeper but Fanny did a great job and Donny was on top of things all the time! We highly recommend using Siria the chef to come in! She was fantastic and make sure you order her chicken poppers! Our group was eclectic and diverse in ages but they survived us! Thank you for stepping it up after the first arrivals. Cheers!

The house was perfect, the rooms, the view, the amenities just about had us staying WOW from the minute we arrived. The location of the house was farther North on the island and had a beach front entry to drop in kayaks and paddle boards (which we used alot). Each adult couple had thier own master king size bed suite which was so nice. The kids had a private house of thier own also which slept 6, ages varying from 10 to 19. Privacy and space were not issues here at all. It was the perfect layout for 3 family's to spread out and enjoy.
The main center house is where we ate all of our meals. And when I say meals I mean fresh home cooked Chef prepared full course meals. Syria and Angela were our chefs for the entire week. They were probably the highlight of our trip and we are so glad we hired them for thier services. Every morning we were served fresh juices of all kinds, fresh sliced fruits, eggs dishes, potato selections, beans, bacon, Belize style breads and waffles. The list goes on. All made at the selected time we asked and prepared for 14 of us. We literally sat down and ate together like this at each meal, it was so enjoyable.. Dinners varied from Lobster, chicken, pork and shrimp all server up Belize style. The gals had appetizers that pretty much blew our socks off by the pool every evening with drinks. Ceviche, conch fritters, jalapeños poppers, emapanadas were just to name a few. Let's not forget dessert because that was also included with our dinners every night and each one was different and freshly baked and prepared. The chefs took such good care of our kids catering to even the pickiest of esters. Did I mention they cleaned up too?
Fannie and Danny were the onsite grounds and housing staff, they live on premise. These two made sure the houses were all kept, beds made, bathrooms clean every single day. Danny picked fresh coconuts daily for the kids and had ready in the fridge for pre dinner treats, us adults may have taken part of that too:) Fannie was there if we needed anything! Danny also helped kids with fishing spots and tricks and kayak excursions which was so sweet. I can't say enough about the staff on property.
The pool and outdoor area was full of great seating and the views of the ocean were priceless.
Natalee the property manager was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She arranged all transports, excursions, golf cart delivery and covid tests done at the house.

Just back from a 5 day stay at the Villa Turquesa, first off, Nathalee was an amazing host even if she was not there in person. Nathalee checked on us daily, to make sure everything was to our liking and all excursions were taken care of. The staff were all amazing, Fannie, Siria, and Donny, were able to make anything happen, whatever we needed they were happy to provide. Really a great stay, can't wait to go back.

Our family group of 11 stayed at Villa Turquesa for a week in January. We loved the house, our cook was exceptional and the property was well taken care of. Loved the infinity pool and being able to walk to nearby bars and restaurants. Our cook, Siria, was so good, we never wanted to go out to eat. The snorkeling was awesome, the water was a beautiful turquoise color, as the name implies. We rented a golf cart to get to San Pedro and pick up supplies. Will be nice when the road is fully paved going to town. Or you can always take a water taxi to town. Loved having the individual suites for some privacy and having the house out back so the kids could could have a place of their own. The common areas were wonderful for us all to congregate for together time, watch DVDs, and have our wonderful dinners together. Would recommend taking the boat from Belize City to the Villa as arranged by Nathalee. We have already recommended Villa Turquesa to friends!

Our small family stayed here for Christmas 2013. From the moment we were greeted on the long boat dock with caipirinhas we knew we had chosen the perfect place. The house was gorgeous and perfectly laid out with each couple having their own private cabana, two with screened porches facing the sea. We would meet in the middle main house for planning, gathering and enjoying each other's company or hang out in the pool just in front. The private lagoon leading out to the sea was perfect for paddle boarding and swimming. The reef of course was just a short distance by kayak which led to some great races. The personally prepared meals by our chef, Carlos were absolutely fantastic - usually including hand caught fish and fresh vegetables. I think our favorite meal was the lobster tails that were baked over a fire pit on our private lagoon. And speaking of... the fire pit was a perfect gathering place at night to discuss the days events and dream of tomorrow's conquests. "Tomorrow" always started with Navia outlaying wonderful cinnamon toasts and the most delicious fresh fruits.
Nathalee, the property manager, was wonderful in assisting us with what to expect during our trip.
This was a perfect retreat and place to unwind. Most of the excursions can be arranged to pick you up at your private dock. For those wanting more activity, San Pedro is but a short boat ride away (If you are a party of 4 or more - I would suggest hiring the private water taxi so that you can come and go on your own schedule).
they do have two dogs on premises which were extremely entertaining and kept us from missing our pets we had left at home. If dogs are not your preference, they can certainly keep the dogs separated from the property. I am not certain if they allow for pets to be brought in - I do not know the requirements for the property or Belize.
I would highly recommend staying at Villa Turquesa and cannot wait to return!!!!!

Villa Turquesa was the perfect vacation spot for our family of four to relax and enjoy so much of what Ambergris Caye has to offer. The house itself is simply beautiful, gorgeously furnished and decorated with plenty of space to spread out, but still cozy and comfortable for just the four of us. It also has amazing views, an exquisite pool, a lovely pier, and a unique sandy beach access for paddle boarding and kayaking (which they also had for our use). In addition, the location could not be better. Having never been to the area we at first thought it would be fun staying closer to town, but after enjoying a morning exploring San Pedro, we quickly realized that we were so lucky to be staying further north, and in particular exactly where we were, being within an easy beach walk to a couple of restaurants and a small market. Also, there was no need to rent a golf cart as the water shuttle picked us up at the dock to take us wherever we wanted to go (plus the condition of the road with the recent rain would have rendered a golf cart useless). Last, but definitely not least, is the amazing, friendly, and helpful crew, Carlos and his son Carlos Jr. prepared the most delicious dinners each night, Navia had our breakfast and coffee waiting each morning, then tirelessly kept the villa spotless, and Harley impeccably maintained the pool, beach and lush grounds. In addition, Nathalee was a wealth of information before and during our trip, arranging our flights and boat travel to and from Belize City, diving for our son, and answering our thousands of questions with her extensive knowledge and familiarity of the area. In addition Chad provided us lots of local information and recommendations. As this property has been recently redone and is indeed new to the market, I will admit to being a bit wary of booking it sight unseen and with so few reviews, but my uncertainty was completely unwarranted, and we all feel so fortunate to have thoroughly loved every moment we spent at this beautiful property.
