It was excellent value for money, location was extremely useful and central to the area. Great pubs around and a Sainsburys. Took me 15 minutes to get to London Liverpool Street and only 10 minute walk to the Tower of London. I had everything I needed, including a microwave.
Just a little bit cold, and a rug would be nice, but there was a space heater provided, so that was remedied.

Stayed here multiple times now. Great location, facilities all pretty good. I stay for 4 nights at a time and quite happy to stay again.
The shower room is not nice and there's only one.

My second time staying here, though I was in a different/bigger room last time. The host is very friendly in their comms. Check-in is very easy (though bring a torch/phone light if trying to access the keysafe at night). The room had everything I needed, I slept well and enjoyed my stay. There are 2 shared toilets and a shared shower. The place is a little dated but I found that kind of charming. There is a really good curry house called 'Halal Restaurant' about 1 min walk away and I throughly recommend it. I will be returning there ASAP.
As everyone mentions, the shower room is so small it's difficult to get dressed/undressed in there. it's not very clean and using it just feels like a chore. Though, the water temperature was good.

Central London and cheap - you get what you pay for. If you need to sleep cheaply in London this is as good as any of the others and better than many.
Bed's a bit spongy for me but not a huge issue.
