Opening the sliders off the dining room includes the deck area as part of a wonderful atmosphere for socializing. The loft above the living room has ceiling to wall windows facing west and south for great views of the ocean and pretty neighborhood. You can walk or bike to Russian Gulch State Park, go to the day use area and follow trails around the headlands or BBQ at the picnic area with a gorgeous view of blue/green ocean. Point Cabrillo Lighthouse is 1 mile down Point Cabrillo Dr. from the house and a little further down the road is Caspar Beach. You are 2 minutes north of Mendocino Village and just on the other side of the village is Big River State Beach; a large, white sand beach with lots of room to stay all day and fire rings for a cook out at night with the ocean crashing nearby. *There is a 3% charge per transaction.
