Just a few blocks from Forsyth Park, this pet friendly home has everything you’ll need for a weekend getaway or longer, extended stay. This beautifully updated 1 bedroom home has a comfortable back porch, and all the amenities you need for a short stay or an extended vacation. This home features original hardwood floors, a huge bathroom with shower, and an amazing designer kitchen. The large, modern living room has two French doors that let in plenty of natural light, and lead to the front porch. Decorated with local art, the large flat-screen TV is set upon an easel and can be seen from anywhere in the room. Pocket doors lead into the eat-in kitchen. The large island and stainless steel appliances make cooking a pleasure. Enjoy a quick meal at the breakfast bar or an intimate dinner at your private table for two. Just off the kitchen is the renovated full bath, which has a large vanity and a shower with a built-in seat. The King bed is perfect for curling up in after a long day of exploring Savannah. The large closet provides plenty of space to unpack and settle in, and includes the convenience of a stackable washer and dryer. Why Lucky Savannah Loves this Property: - Our favorite local package store (Johnnie Ganem’s), national grocer (Kroger’s), and local caffeine spot (Mate Factor Cafe) are all within a 1 block walk. - Southern Comfort is not only dog friendly, but one of the few rentals in Savannah with flexible pet size restrictions. Non-metered Parking This unit has free, on-street parking right outside the front door. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends. Sleeping Configuration: Bedroom 1: King Bed Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information. Wonderful property. Loved back porch and off street parking. Property was comfortable and close to everything. Property manager addressed burned out porch lights very quickly. We would stay there again.

The property and location of this home was perfect for what we were looking for. We had our fur baby with us, and he enjoyed the afternoon walks and just hanging out on the front porch. We would rent this property again, thank you for it be super clean and having all the supplies you needed inside. Thanks Jo and Vince and Dusty

Me and my husband went on VROB to look for a house to rent while we were in Savannah when searching for a house this listing came up. It looks nice. We booked it when we arrived at the listing. It was not a house, but an apartment unit with a unit downstairs and a unit upstairs in the listing it did not say anything about this, it said it was a whole house the rug in the bedroom was dirty, had stains all over it. It was disgusting the showerhead soap scum everywhere even on the glass on the shower. The showerhead was broke. The fridge is leaking on the floor not only that, but the cleaners can’t clean the upstairs the whole time they were there my dog could hear them. I was barking the whole time waking us up early in the morning. This listing is very deceiving. It is not a whole house, but an apartment we will never rent from Lucky Savannah rentals again for this reason that and the place was outdated and dirty.

Location perfect. Close to Forsyth Park and a large supermarket. Kitchen could have done with a bit more ovenware but overall we loved our stay and would do it again.

Great location. Enjoyed airy kitchen. Outdoor spaces need attention, needs to be swept and furniture cleaned, had to do before using. Bedroom carpeting needs replaced . Frig ice maker not working and got locked out one morning when key pad battery died

Good space, quiet location except for the train noise you hear in mornings and during day, and neighbors in unit above. Kitchen needs more supplies to really cook. Could use a refresh - paint, furniture, bathroom, yard but property has charm.

Beautiful location and property.
The porch swing is not accessible thru the front of the apartment. Coffee in my pjs on the swing wasnt as I thought it might be but doable if you walk out the side entrance door thru the gate up the sidewalk to the shared swing on the porch.
If you don’t mind the train and thin walls it’s a great property!

We loved this location and the house was great. Plenty of space and very easy on street parking. It’s an old house and we could hear a lot of what was going on from the upstairs neighbors. There’s also a train in the area we heard a couple of times. Having said all that, I think I would still stay here again

Very nice spacious space. Needs MUCH MORE kitchen supplies. Especially if you are planning to actually cook. The kitchen had only 1 dish towel & the bathroom had only 1 hand towel. We did have 4 bath towels but only 2 face cloths. We stayed 3 nights & linens & kitchen supplies were inadequate.

We stayed at this property in 2015 and it was amazing, 5 stars. With a little TLC, it could be again. The bedroom carpet is in need of a shampooing or even replacement. We had access to the courtyard in our first stay but realized after arriving that that had changed.Location and neighborhood is great, close to Forsyth Park and a grocery store. We parked our car on arrival and didn’t use it all week—on site parking is also a plus.

This property is in a great location. Just a few blocks to groceries and an extensive liquor store. Short walk to Forsthym Park. Unit is clean and well accommodated as described. Enjoyed our wine and cheese on the back porch after busy days of walking. In a quiet neighborhood with amazing architecture surrounding you. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a relaxing and charming stay in lovely Savannah.

My husband and I stayed here a few years ago for our honeymoon and decided to revisit Savannah for our babymoon. We really enjoyed our first stay at Southern Comfort. The home is close to Forsyth Park and not too far from all the restaurants and fun of historic Savannah. My only complaint about this stay was the home smelled like pets. We brought our dogs and enjoy a pet friendly rental, but the home seem to have a residual pet smell which we did not appreciate. Overall, we would recommend this rental.. we just suggest that the cleaning crew does some deep cleaning- especially the couch and rugs!

Great location, interior was furnished nicely, and clean. Lucky Savannah is always available for questions and are very helpful. However, we were disappointed with several things. We know older homes have some issues but the exterior door did not meet the threshold at all so possible critter entry was extremely possible. Also, the floorboards outside bedroom were sloped and unstable feeling. There were dead plants in pots outside and the fountain in the courtyard did not have water and was not operational. Outside of property is not like pics at all. Did not appear to be maintained on outside. Back porch and outdoor furniture was covered in some type of leaves that we had to sweep off before we could even sit on porch.

We did like the kitchen, the back covered porch, the location, and the property was well-lit. We also liked having the driveway where we could park, just be sure the car doesn’t block the sidewalk. While the bed was comfy, we found the furniture in the living room to be extremely uncomfortable. It is a pet friendly location, but the fencing in the walkway area is not very secure for small dogs – there is a gap where two of the fence panels meet and the slats on the gate are too far apart. The folks that live upstairs are very nice; the noise from upstairs is minimal, mostly footsteps when they are walking around. They were fostering a rescue dog that unfortunately was extremely aggressive and unfriendly towards strangers and other dogs. The back covered porch was the best feature of the rental, but if the foster dog was outside, we really couldn’t enjoy it, or we would go back inside. When coming from downstairs to the courtyard, the dog could see in to our rental from the landing and if it saw us or our dog, it would start growling and barking so we kept the blinds closed most of the time. They mentioned they would be moving the dog to another location later in April, so for future guests it won't be a problem, but it did put a bit of a damper on our stay.

After a week long vacation in Charleston and Hilton Head, SC we headed for Savannah, GA. This home is in a wonderful location. Roomy and spacious as well as nicely decorated. The amenities were perfect. Excellent wifi too. My chihuahua felt right at home. Liked having the washer/dryer available as well. Only trivial complaints were the front doorknob fell off twice. However, my husband quickly repaired it with the tools that were so cleverly available. Would love to visit here again and stay longer.

Located just three blocks from Forsyth Park and a free Dot bus ride to restaurants, shopping and sights. Garden is not available for your dog but a good neighborhood to walk the dog and see historical homes. No where to put a weeks worth of trash identified. Rooms are as pictured.

The property was everything that the pictures looked like! And that never happens. I was so impressed with how clean and kept up it was.. and for it to be a property that welcomes pets I couldn't even tell. The area that the house is in is a great location. Close to lots of things and just a quaint quiet street. The plus to staying there as well was a non-metered parking spot which is hard to come by in Savannah. All in all my family was very impressed with our stay and we enjoyed what the property had to offer. And I just wanted to thank Sam at lucky Savannah for making it happen. I was having issues with getting this particular property for theses dates, she worked some magic and made it happen. Great customer service and call back times. Very helpful and friendly. The pricing for the total of nights we stayed was well under a hotel and in my opinion. It was just a nice change of pace rather than stay in a hotel this time. Thank you and we look forward to staying at a lucky Savannah property again!

We loved staying in the littlw apartment. Our 3 year old daughter was able to play and snack with the open floor plan and kitchen. She particularly loved the shower. It was our first experience staying in a non hotel property and would definitely stay again. We loved that parking was on the street right in front of the house. Kroger is just a few blocks, maybe a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The occupants above her friendly, they offered their house if we lost power due to hurricane Michael. I can't say enough about this resident.

Southern Comfort provided a great location to all the activities that we wanted to do. Within steps of Kroger, Sentient Bean, Mate Factor bakery and Starland. Also a new brewery, Two Tides just opened in Starland. Very comfortable place to stay with easy access and very few steps to climb as you can see in the picture of the home. We have already booked another stay in the spring of 2019.
