Nestled in New Orleans, this charming bed and breakfast for $162 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Our specialty is Romance. Come enjoy the Season in New Orleans and experience a home reminiscent of a time gone past, steeped in French culture, history and charm. This 1887 three bay Uptown guest suite delivers the historic charm New Orleans is known for with its amazing historic architectural details - 12 foot ceilings, old wood floors, transom & stain glass windows, and marble fire place. We are located just blocks away from the St Charles Trolley and the famed Magazine Street – a coveted spot where you can walk to famous restaurants and shopping. To add to its historic charm, this guest suite is professionally furnished with French antiques and designer furnishings, to include a luxurious king bed designed and crafted by a local artist, Mario Villa, as well as a kitchenette and large closet and master bath. This guest suite has its own separate outdoor entrance on the front porch. The space is located in the front of the house for privacy. The front porch and swing are for the exclusive use of our guests to enjoy a morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or parade viewing! Washer and dryer are available in the rear of the house for guests' use and convenience. Operates under Permit Nos. 23-NSTR-13761; 23-OSTR-18527.

Wonderful, comfortable suite garden district area. It was easy to park our car next to the place. Loved rocking on the swing each evening after several delicious meals in the area....Clancys, Patrois, Atchafala. Easy walk to Magazine shops , Audubon Park, and 2 grocery stores. Very comfortable king bed, great amenities. No kitchen, but easy to make coffee and simples breakfasts. Thanks!

We are locals and needed extra space over thanksgiving. The suite is a small tradition single shotgun home but everything you would need. Very convenient if spending time in the uptown area. Good communication with host, easy to park and access the home. Close to Tulane, Whole Foods and Audubon park.

Accommodations were just as described. Parking was very easy and right next to the door-in New Orleans that is a big plus. Grocery, restaurants and shopping all an easy walk. Very clean and just what we needed for a quick trip.

Comfortable New Orleans “shotgun” style bedroom suite. Close to Magazine St, Audubon Park & Tulane/Loyola Univ. Attending Tulane reunion and an easy commute by car or Streetcar. A real sense of NOLA and feel of neighborhood living. Easy street parking and close to food & shopping.

Nice quaint & roomy one bedroom unit for two with oversized bathroom. Convenient location for either getting around in or our of the garden district. Great location for participating in most Mardi Gras parades! Only thing missing was a full length mirror.

Just a short walk to Magazine Street, grocery stores, and local shops and cafes. Less than a mile walk to grab a rail car for a convenient trip downtown. Inside was cozy and clean. Large shower has excellent water pressure.

The location is perfect for visiting new orleans. A beautiful neighborhood close to public transportation and a short ride to anywhere that we needed to go. Everything in the house was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. Kathleen was a great host and she was always quick to respond to any messages. Actually, the pictures don't do this place justice. It is so cozy, and the perfect little place for a getaway. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud, and the pillows were the softest ever. Everything was 5 star hotel quality. The neighborhood where it's located was safe and quiet and within a stone throw of a grocery store. We took Uber's while here, and never had a problem getting one. We met Kathleen and her dog Jazz, and both were the nicest you will ever meet. Do not hesitate to book this place, you won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood is lovely and convenient, the property is clean, historic, and comfortable. Kathleen was quick to respond when there was a plumbing issue and it was resolved in less than 24 hours. We were in town for a wedding and are grateful to have enjoyed such a wonderful home base!

The cutest little spot. Was perfect for us just to get away and enjoy a few nights. Loved the old wood floors and the Chandelier over the big comfortable bed!! Awesome food very close by. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely book this place again!!

Kathleen’s property was perfect! Had everything we needed. The bed and the sheets are amazing we slept soo good every night. Really spacious and has ton of New Orleans charm. The ONLY thing I would have changed is either a bigger TV or even the present tv being mounted. We love laying in bed watching movies and it’s hard to watch from the bed. But other than that it was a perfect stay! Thank you so much Kathleen you are great!

This was a lovely property with a lot of obvious thought given to comfort and decor. The bed was extremely comfortable and I really appreciated the fact that they had feather and non-allergic pillows to to choose from. The location was perfect to be near the touristy parts of the city without actually having to deal with all of the tourists. There are a good number of great neighborhood bars and restaurants within walking distance. There are also a Winn Dixie and Whole Foods within walking distance which was very much appreciated. The host was lovely and very communicative...I would definitely recommend this property to anyone!
