About this house rental
Located in New Buffalo, this charming house for $500 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Come unwind in this 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home that is less than 90 minutes from Chicago in the lovely town of New Buffalo, MI for a wonderful vacation getaway. Our vacation home is located within blocks of the shops and restaurants in downtown New Buffalo and close enough to stroll to the beach where you can enjoy beautiful Lake Michigan or a breathtaking sunset. Our cottage is located on Merchant Street with reserved parking in the alley behind and ample street parking immediately outside the front door! The private heated community pool is also less than a block away if you want to cool off. The areas wineries, breweries and distilleries are just a short drive away for a wonderful weekend of touring and tasting Harbor Country's best. Our home is also in the perfect location to cheer on the Irish at all the Notre Dame home games in South Bend, IN, which is less than 45 minutes away. The house has a wonderful layout that allows visitors to spread out over three floors, with bedrooms and bathrooms located on every level. The 1st floor offers a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, modern commercial grade stainless steel appliances and all the supplies you need to prepare a gourmet meal. Our dining room has comfortable seating for 8 to 10 at the reclaimed barnwood farmhouse table with extra bar seating for three at the island. If you are traveling with little ones, we have a high chair, booster seat and kid friendly dishes and silverware. The kitchen and dining area open to the family room, where you can kick your feet up by the gas fireplace or relax by watching your favorite cable television show on our Smart TV, that is equipped with cable, Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime. After your long day enjoying Harbor Country, enjoy some good conversation with your guests on the back patio or catch up on your favorite book under the twinkling lights on the rear screened-in porch. There is also additional space in the finished basement on the sectional for guests to stream a movie, watch their favorite cable sporting event or pop in a DVD. When it it is time get a good night's rest for another day in Harbor Country, stretch out in the first floor master bedroom, which has a KING size bed and on suite full bathroom with a step-in tub/shower. Or head upstairs, where you can sleep beneath the stars, under the skylights of course, in one of the two second floor bedrooms. The first bedroom on the second floor has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two twin size beds, a queen size bed and a full-size portable crib. The upper level bedrooms boast large closets with ample space for all your belongings. Guests staying on the second floor will have their own full bathroom with a pebble shower. Other guests can head downstairs to get some rest, where they can sleep in one of two bedrooms. The lower level of our home has one bedroom with a queen size bed and reach-in closet and a second bedroom that sleeps four on two sets of twin size bunk beds. All guests staying on the lower level have their own full bathroom with a walk-in penny tiled shower and double vanity. If you are looking to spend the day at the beach, gather up some of the beach chairs, beach umbrella, wagon and beach toys and head less than a mile away to the New Buffalo Public Beach. If you are traveling with little ones, we have a double jogging stroller, high chair, pack and play, full size crib, booster seat, double bike trailer and some beach/pool toys available for your use so that our littlest guests can make their own memories.

This was a perfect house and location for our family wedding weekend in October. Our family consisted of a one year old, a three year old, and seven adults. Mom, Dad and the kids had everything they needed upstairs with room to spare. Best for them was the huge walk-in closet that had the crib and spacious dressing area. Downstairs had a Q BR and a second BR with bunk beds,… and a nice sitting area with TV where the kids could watch movies. Our host was very accommodating for early check in and late departure.

We had a great time staying in Jessica’s home with our group of 14 adults. Plenty of beds and space to have a fun weekend getaway in New Buffalo. Jessica was a great host!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. It is a short walk to everything you'd want to do -- beach, pool, restaurants. The house was very well appointed with dishes, towels, etc. Beautifully decorated and plenty of space for our group. We'll be back!

Nice big house! Great location! Really nice towels! The mattresses on the beds in the lower level need to be replaced. Very uncomfortable. The lower level bedroom with the queen size bed is next to the room where sump pump was located, which was loud.

We had an excellent time at Jessica’s New Buffalo home. We traveled with a party of 14- 6 adults, 8 kids- and there was plenty of room for all of us. The home is well furnished and adorable! The neighborhood is lovely and the town so cute. Would definitely recommend this home and this town for a getaway!

This home is adorable inside and out! Several of my family members met here as it was a central location for folks from Michigan, Illinois & Indiana. The rooms were spacious & comfortable with plenty of beds & bathrooms. It had all the necessary amenities & soft towels. It was close to lots of fun breweries & restaurants. We were there during cold weather but it seems like it would be even better in the summer! I highly recommend.

The house was great. Super clean, lots of room, beds for everyone. There were 12 women in our group and we were very comfortable there. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was ample parking. It's a very short walk to downtown New Buffalo. We walked to the beach and Beer Church brewery. We also went in the community pool and it was so warm and relaxing. We had a great time!

This home is spacious and well appointed. We loved having the downstairs TV and play space for the kids and the large table upstairs off the kitchen for family dining. Location is perfect--removed enough from town but still close enough to walk or bike to most destinations, including the beach. Really appreciated the use of the wagon and chairs for beach going.

Love our MI week
This house once again proved to be the perfect solution for our growing family. The location is perfect for making memories and sharing cousin time. I have been trying to think of something that wasn’t there but I can’t think of one thing! We had so much fun already booked for 2023. The extra bunk room worked perfectly for us. This place was great! Jessica was a wonderful host with everything we needed right there. We had plenty of space for a family of four upstairs and a family of four downstairs and grandparents right on the main level. Excellent setup! Could walk to beach and town so easily.

The was very clean. There were 11 of us 6 adults, 5 kids. Everyone had a bed. House privided a cozy setting in a nice neighborhood. Walking distance to lake Michigan and downtown. Large table made for eating together and playing games. Would stay again
