This is a very pretty building and the welcome from the owner was lovely. The room was basic with a very small bathroom. The shower was good and hot. The restaurant was very popular and with good reason as it had great service and wonderful local food. A nice breakfast too
The room was pretty basic but clean with everything you need for a night or two. Made up for by the great on site restaurant

I would give the staff a 10, all very nice and very welcoming. Even packed up breakfast for me when I woke up feeling ill.
The room was large and very clean
Food was overall quite good; drinks were excellent.
The mattress was a bit springy, and not the most comfortable thing ever, and the seam was fairly noticeable down the middle.
Bathroom was okay, but a bit spartan.
I think overall it’s an older building and nice/fastidious as the staff is it’s just starting to show its age. I would say the vibe is probably more like a large B&B than a hotel; if that’s your vibe you’ll probably love it, but if you prefer hotels then I think some of the more homey touches and quirks are probably going to have you annoyed and disappointed.
