About this house rental
Nestled in Stinson Beach, this attractive house for $696 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Enjoy FULL views of the sunrise and sunset from the dining room, living room and large deck. Step down from the deck to the beach for a leisurely walk or build your own sand castle at the foot of the 'Castle House.' Relax or BBQ at the large deck. Walk to the Stinson Village shops and restaurants and never get into your car until it is time to go home! The Castle House has two bedrooms (with queen-size beds) and two recently remodeled baths. The bedrooms have views of the beach and the ocean and are located at the front and rear of the house. They have wall to wall new carpets. There is a fully equipped and recently remodeled kitchen, a large deck and a large covered porch with outdoor furniture. It is a comfortable, well kept and very nicely furnished home. The living room has a turret (as in a castle!) with a circular sofa and embraces the complete view of the beach and ocean, from the north end of Stinson-Bolinas to the southern tip. There is parking for two cars. In the Summer time we rent full weeks with shorter stays in between full week rentals. During holidays (including school holidays) we rent 3 to 4 days min, depending on the holiday with shorter stays based on approval and availability. Keywords: House

My family and I spent the week of Thanksgiving in the castle house. We loved being able to step out of the front door and onto the sand. The house is well-maintained and comfortable, and the remodeled bathrooms and kitchen are very nice. I must say of all the many vacation homes we have rented, this was by far the most well stocked kitchen. I was impressed. Being able to walk one block up the highway to the market or the bookstore or to have an ice cream cone was great. Elida quickly brought a new coffee pot when ours stopped working. She also helped us solve our parking issue which I greatly appreciated. It was the perfect house for our family vacation. Thank you Elida for making it feel like home.

Our Chihuahua thought she was Queen of the castle! We are hoping to come back next year if Elida will have us!

Spent a relaxing and fun long weekend at the Castle House. Great location..great fun watching all the dogs and humans from our perch. The house was designed to beautifully catch the views. Very clean. We, and our little dog enjoyed it very much!

We have stayed at the Castle House before and love it! The location cannot be beat. We enjoy hanging out in the living room and walking on the beach. The proximity to town is a plus. We generally buy our food at the market and enjoy eating at Parkside Cafe. Thank you for another wonderful weekend.

Our family of 4 (with one on the way) loved the convenience and location! The sand castle look just added to our experience. We loved being “at the beach” with all of the windows open while going about our usual day with young children. We plan to return every year. The owner was extremely responsive, helpful, flexible, and she sent home some things we forgot. The house is well stocked for cooking and staying in.

This property was just perfect for a beach getaway to celebrate some significant birthdays! Right on the sand with more than ample places indoors and out to sit and watch the waves. It was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. Elida was very easy to communicate with, and the location let us park the car on Friday and not use it again until we left on Monday.

This was our second stay at the Castle House. We love the property, and the location can't be beat. The home is close to town, which makes it easy to get to the store and restaurants. Elida, the owner, is easy to communicate with and provides clear information/instructions to ensure that there were no issues during our stay.

Perfect trip to the Castle House. On the beach, close to town, and they allowed our dog. We really loved every minute there. It was very clean had everything we needed. Great host, check in was easy, and would stay here again in the future when we come back to Stinson Beach.

It was so peaceful and beautiful to see and hear the ocean "right in my own front yard." Whether walking on the beach, sitting on a deck chair or gazing out as I sat inside the house, a calm filled my soul.

The Castle house is the most amazing location in Stinson Beach. We parked our cars Friday and didn’t touch them again until Monday. We enjoyed the beach, hiking trails and wonderful restaurants in town.
The house had comfortable beds, and the sofa in the window was the perfect evening hang out. Waking up to the sound of the ocean was priceless. The deck had great furniture for total relaxation.
The house had all the amenities we needed and the check in and out process was seamless. The owner has very detailed instructions that were easy to follow.
The cost is high, yes, but 100% worth it. Until next time!

Myself, my husband, my Mum, and our dogs recently stayed a couple of nights at this beautiful castle house and it was a dream! You really cannot find a better location- right on the beach (as in step out of the house and you're right there looking out at that beautiful ocean) and 5 mins walk to the local shops and restaurants. We loved walking over to the local bakery to get our coffees and pastries in the morning- we brought them back to eat on the porch while we watched the dogs play on the beach. Our dogs never wanted to leave- it was nearly impossible to get them in the car to go home! I would say my fave part of the house it without a doubt the turret where you can sit and relax and watch the sunset- so comfy I could stay there for hours! You will not regret staying at this wonderful house.

We loved our stay at the Castle! It turned out to be a very rainy time with high tides up to the house. We loved watching it come in and meeting new people as they walked in front of the house.
Elida was wonderful with my questions and helping us get prepared for a big storm that came in.
We can’t wait to stay at the castle again!

Who doesn't want to stay in a castle?
It was just as you dreamed. Waking up to the sounds of the waves, coffee on the spacious deck, sunsets sitting out front, toes in the sand. The location was ideal, the neighbors friendly, the visitors respectful and the locals welcoming. We are already looking at the calendar to plan another stay.

There is a local market for food. But I would strongly encourage you to get provisions before coming over the mountain. The marker is expensive and has minimal selection. The host is very responsive and welcoming. Pack warm clothes for the evenings. The house is on a beach- it gets chilly at night. The pellet stove does a fabulous job heating the house, but the floors get chilly, so plan for that. Bring your own beach towels but other than that everything you need is there!!!!
