Wonderful newly remodeled studio apartment with queen size bed, good size kitchen and a large bathroom. The living space has been redesigned, and the bathroom remodeled from scratch. The improvements include a new closet, new paint, Hi-speed WiFi, new tiles in the bathroom, new bathtub, and more. This unit is conveniently located in a quiet area with quick access to the 280 freeway and within blocks of public transportation. Plenty of street parking available. Stern Grove and The Stonestown Shopping Gallery are a short 5-10 minute walk away. Lake Merced and Lakeshore Plaza are also within walking distance (less than 1 mile away). San Francisco Short-Term Residential Rental Registration Number: STR-0005589. Possession of a San Francisco Short-Term Rental Registration Certificate certifies that the registration certificate holder has agreed to comply with the term of the San Francisco Short-Term Residential Rental Ordinance (San Francisco Administrative Code Section 41A). This ordinance does not require an inspection of the unit by the City for potential Building, Housing, Fire, and other Code violations.

Enjoyed our stay as we visited the SF area. 20 Uber minutes from SFO. Restaurants and Whole Foods 2-3 blocks away. Used MUNI day passes to travel to various sights, including Oracle Park for Giants game and to Oakland As game. Host was easily available and responded quickly to inquiries. Thank you.

The studio is a ground floor unit in a residential neighborhood. We could walk 3 blocks to a mall with an interesting food court, a Whole Foods and a Target. In the other direction - public transit, Mexican, Thai, and more.

Nice little studio very well situated in a quiet neighborhood (walking distance of a shopping mall and transit stops). Ample street parking, easy communication with owner. The place could probably use a thourough clean though.

This is a comfortable rental with an excellent location for travelers with a car or for those just using transit. No problem with parking, and if you like to take Muni there's an M stop just a few blocks away along with bus stops very close by too. Some good places to eat right there on Ocean, West Portal is also a short walk away, as is Stonestown Mall.
Mike is a great host, available anytime and allowing privacy as well. This unit is one of two on the ground floor with easy and safe private access, and a place to sit outside in the back (the addition of some outdoor furniture could be nice). Clean, well furnished and accommodating. Merced Manor Reservoir is a cool place to watch the sun go down, a couple hundred feet away, and there's Stern Grove -- this is a great place to stay!

Generally speaking this was a great bargain to find and place stay. Very close by to several convenient shopping locations for general purpose needs (target, CVS, groceries, etc) and was also located on a very quiet street. The room itself was very tidy and was perfect for resting between touring events around the city. It was a bit chilly during our visit and unfortunately the heating in the unit wasn't working properly at the time ... but after a few short texts to the owner, a portable heater was delivered in the meantime which was able to suffice. I was very pleased at the responsiveness and attentiveness of the owner in this regard was great! I'd certainly stay again or recommend it anyone visiting the area!

The apartment is lovely, clean and comfortable, and well-equipped. The neighbourhood is charming, with a quiet village atmosphere, an oasis away from the interesting city that is San Francisco. Shops and a beautiful supermarket a few minutes down the road and great public transport all around. Would love to stay here again at a next opportunity!

My husband and I stayed for a week in this very comfortable apartment. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom have ample storage and room to move around in. The bed is comfortable and the water pressure in the shower is great. The kitchen has a large refrigerator and equipment for very simple food preparation -- a 2-burner portable electric cooktop, microwave, toaster, pans and utensils. There is plenty of street parking within feet of the house and the location makes it easy to get around. We didn't need anything during our stay but the host kept in touch and made himself very available in case any need should arise.

We stayed at Michael’s apartment for n SF during a heat wave and were soooo grateful to be there. Great location near my favorite West Portal neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach. And shopping. I highly recommend!

Working in the city and dealing with traffic is stressful but having this place to come back home to made everything so much better! The place is cute, clean, and cozy. I stayed for about a month and Mike was always kind and available to help. Parking was never an issue and I parked right out front which was the biggest life saver for me. This apartment was super cute and clean. The area was very safe, and Mike was attentive in his communication. There is a shopping center with some restaurants only a couple of blocks away. It is a bit south of downtown San Francisco, but once you figure out the public transit system you will realize you don't need to rent a car or pay the super expensive parking fees downtown. We parked our car out front of the rental and used the Muni rails and buses to get around. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot. Clean, efficient in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. A wonderful reprieve from the busy core. About a mile from the Ocean. Very uncrowded. The owner was a great help! Wonderful person.
