Nestled in New Buffalo, this charming house for $430 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. 5 STAR ***** Accommodations....Perfect. Completely rehabbed for 2019 Read what our last guests have to say. New gated Pool and Pool house. Approximately 300 Ft. from house. . The grounds are spacious and private. Absolutely pristine condition! A vacation home that .....you'll fall in love and won't want to leave. Come experience the unique designs of the Madrona by renown architect, Ross Chapin and the quality, comfort, and charm of a true Chapin home. The architectural detail work is second to none. Step outside your door and within walking distance to fine restaurants, galleries, boutiques, public beach, Amtrack stop and marinas. Start your day with a cup of coffee on one of the cottage front or rear porches complete with flower boxes; spend the afternoon riding a bike or at the beach. This perfect vacation home boasts a private first floor master suite with cathedral ceilings. Private bathroom with rain shower. Cathedral ceilings. Guest powder room on main floor. 2nd Bedroom with a connected full Bathroom and tub. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs with a full bathroom. Don't forget the stairwell reading nook. The sleeping bags are ready in place in the 'kids only' loft, perfect for sleep and play. Family room has a pool table, game table, and foosball table. Total square footage is 2700 sq ft. Pack up the family and head to the beach. Don't worry about what to bring. We provide bicycles and beach chairs. Equipped with high speed internet and cable TV. Linens are provided along with full service kitchens with all necessities of home. Electronic 5' filter for those with air quality concerns. Over an acre of PRIVATE spacious grounds for plenty of outdoor fun that is SAFE for children, dogs and adults. We can sleep more but only allow for 10 guest. 4 true bedrooms plus a loft. The rental rates are posted and are easy to read. 2 Bedrooms with Queen beds, 1 with a King and 1 Bedroom with 2 twins and a trundle. The house is beautiful! We especially loved the fireplace room near the kitchen. We also enjoyed how close the house was to everything. We have stayed in the area several times before, but this house is by far our favorite. We would definitely come back!

There were 4 adults and 3 teenagers in our group. We had plenty of room in this clean and spacious cottage. The pool is nice and clean and is just a short distance from the house. The beach, grocery, restaurants, ice cream all within walking distance. Very nice rental that provided all the essentials.

This house is great - updated interior and comfortable accommodations. We've rented many vacation houses over the years and been a bit disappointed that the interior is somewhat shabbier than the pictures. Not the case here! We enjoyed all aspects of this property: roasting marshmallows over the firepit, shooting pool with the grandkids, enjoying our mornings and evenings on the front porch. The location was perfect - walkable to practically everywhere: Barney's grocery, Starbucks, restaurants and of course, the beach. It is an active neighborhood with many families renting on this street. Parking was limited but we didn't have a problem finding two spots.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Mike and Deanna for allowing us to stay at your lovely bungalow.

We were very happy with our stay. We had our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren (ages 2 and 5 with us). The cottage was great - well equipped for cooking, family time together, games, and activities, and was well decorated - plenty of room in a nice quiet residential neighborhood. It was just a 30 second walk to the pool and a few blocks from downtown shops and restaurants, and a 12 minute walk to the Lake Michigan Beach. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

Great stay. The house seemed brand new with nice finishes. Definitely NOT used/banged up like other rentals I've stayed at.
As for proximity to downtown, we had 6 adults spend the weekend golfing during the day and walking to restaurants and bars at night. It was the perfect location.

Michael was a great host and extremely helpful before and after our stay. The house is well kept and well stocked. We had 8 adults in our group and fit comfortably. The location is also ideal - walkable to all restaurants, stores, the lake, and the grocery. Street parking is also easy to find. Great stay!

We had the best time in this home for a wedding at Journeyman Distillery. The house is SO cute and the space is so well used. The photos are exactly as the home is in person.

Great place to stay. Our kids loved the house especially the book nook for my daughter. The house is in a great location for the town due to how close it is for walking to the main street even with how cold the weather got. Mike was great to work with and answered all our questions.

We have stayed in several Merchant Street cottages, as the location and amenities simply cannot be beat. This is our favorite one so far - excellent layout and finishings! It was the perfect stay for us (two families, each with two kids). Highly recommend, especially for those traveling with multiple families.

Suggestions :
The online picture makes the home look set off by itself instead of being very close together. It didn’t matter to us, but May for other renters.
It would be good to supply an iron, a lamp in the LR to read by , and blow dryers in all of the baths.
The front porch was in need of a sweeping on the ceiling and elsewhere .
We did love our stay and the home was very cute. It was great to walk to town and enjoy our girlfriends getaway.

The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for our family. We were less than 1 block to the pool and it was never too busy. A short walk to all the restaurants, bars, stores and the beach!

This place was fantastic! I split the week between family and then friends and it was great for both. Newly built/designed, great location. Has pool access and a little fire place area. Very kid friendly. Had a crib and a baby gate. My contact was super helpful.
