About this condo rental
Nestled in Toronto, this charming condo for $201 per night is a great choice for your next break. The Cozy Chalet is a 2 bedroom townhouse apartment located just 12 minutes walk from the Eaton Centre and Dundas Square, Toronto's spiritual centre. We've equipped the apartment with all the fun things the modern traveler could want: a 60" LED TV, an XBOX One X, two controllers, multiple games, an Apple TV 4 with Netflix, TV Player (UK), and our beloved BBC iPlayer. In the kitchen one will find a coffee machine, a stove, a fridge and everything you could desire for all your cooking needs. We have a drip coffee machine and a Keurig. You'll shop for your ingredients 15 minutes to the south, in the world famous St.Lawrence Market, voted the best food market in the world by National Geographic in 2012. Pro tip: The St.Lawrence Market is expensive. You don't have to shop there just because we said so. There are lots of other options. The living room is equipped with a gas fireplace for cooler evenings, to keep everyone cozy. The master bedroom has a king size bed, an office desk with a 27" monitor with USB-C hookup for your MacBook/Windows laptops. It's a U2720Q 4k professional photo editing monitor. Previously we had an iMac however due to the pandemic more and more people brought their own laptops on their trips and popular demand dictated we switched it out for a monitor. We also added in a printer in case you need to print out your Toronto Maple Leaf tickets for the big game. The smaller bedroom sports a twin over full bunk bed, comfortably sleeping 3. This bed easily accommodates adults as well as children, as it is a full bed on the bottom, and twin on top. There are two balconies - one at the front, with a small table and two seats, and one at the back, with a small love seat, perfect for enjoying an early morning coffee. There is fast WIFI on tap too, there's Nothing Worse than a slow internet connection. Parking is included in the underground garage.

Family Vacation Coincides with State of Emergency
Our family arrived in Toronto shortly before a state of emergency was declared. Over the course of our 5 day holiday, COVID-19 led to the closure of all major attractions and the majority of businesses. In the midst of all this chaos, we had Calin's lovely home away from home. Calin was extremely responsive to all of our needs. Check in was a breeze and the place was lovely. Being within walking distance of the city centre was exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend Calin's place to other families looking to spend some time in the heart of Toronto.

Beautiful apartment in downtown Toronto
Very well maintained and equipped large apartment, lots of amenities and cozy in a private courtyard setting. Nice touches upon arrival, coffee and laundry detergent available, for instance. Sophisticated heat and A/C system, all very modern and easy to use. The neighbourhood, though very central and convenient, can be a challenge for some - it is safe but it is in a part of the city that has not been gentrified (yet). I had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Great place to stay while getting to know Toronto

This apartment was gorgeous. It was centrally located so that we could walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go. It was really well equipped and as it says very “cosy”. It is on a very quiet street but then once through the gates you are in an even more secluded enclave. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Toronto.

My family and I travelled to Toronto for 5 days. It was our first trip with our 19month old baby and we wanted somewhere that felt like home with all the conveniences but also close to the city. Calin & Vanessa’s place was perfect. It was cozy, ideally located, clean and exactly what we needed. It was a quick walk into the city from the place and really easy to find when we first arrived. I’d certainly recommend it to anyone traveling in a group of 2-4 needing the comfort of home while on vacation. Thanks Calin & Vanessa. We loved the house.

Located in Gentrifying area
Good location . Transport readily available ( streetcars buses to subways) but walking preferred to CBD or Broadview areas and east of DV Parkway. A good location for those accessing Young Street and the ever emerging Queen and King Street east areas. .17 Pembrooke is well set out with good security and underground parking . If you are looking for street level accommodation in a more centralized location this is it . We are ex Toronto residents revisiting our city. There is some social housing in close proximity which adds to the flavour of the area. This locality is undergoing significant redevelopment but the bulk of it is to the east . We found the beds great and the accommodation TV Wi Fi and shower , Kitchen facilities all good for an extended stay . In our case we were in and out . Calin and Vanessa . Thanking you for providing exactly what we were after .

This is a great area in transformation. Be sure to walk and not miss the benefits of proximity to the lower city and business districts to the west and the emerging hospitality , cafe , craft beer and entertainment scene of the lower eastern streets . Great pockets of diverse Toronto culture surround this location.

Celebrated a friends birthday in Toronto and the location of this condo was centrally located and perfect for any activity. The owners greeted us, were very helpful and on site. Perfect size for four women, the only thing we wished for was another bathroom. But we made it work. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is nice, and well maintained. The beds are firm and I slept well (other than 2 raccoons that were having a disagreement with each other just outside our window). They were a little too stiff for my wife though, but she likes cloud type firmness:).
We would stay again if we return.

Great apartment for kids. The bunk beds were a hit. Lots of room for a family of 4. Convenient to have laundry right there. Loved the nespresso machine! Great to have computer there when I grew tired of looking info up on my phone. Street is a little run down but not concerning when walking to either the Dundas station or queen st street car.

Quiet, clean, and everything we needed to be comfortable.
This apartment/condo is in a great location to visit Toronto. It is close enough to be convenient and located in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to walk to many places and Uber to many others.

Excellent! The apartment was even better than it looked online. Well equipped. Clean and modern. Sunny. Very spacious. The owners are amazing hosts! Friendly. Super responsive and helpful. (Great attention to detail -- their manual provides info on the apt, the neighborhood, places/restaurants to visit, transportation/maps and more.) The location was perfect! Lots to see and do within walking distance. Eaton Centre. Galleries. Museums. Distillery District. We discovered the Assembly Chef's Hall on Richmond St on our last day. Walking distance to great food. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to return when we are back in Toronto. Thank you Calin and Vanessa!

Cozy apartment- well equipped for cooking and entertainment.
This was a great place for our stay in Toronto. It was nice to have the washer,dryer, and dishwasher. The appliances were all in good condition and lots of dishes, pots and pans provided for cooking. There was easy access to the unit and we appreciated the owner coming over when we arrived to greet us and show us around. Also having the home manual was very helpful.
The apartment is accessed through a security foyer into a courtyard which made us feel more secure and the apartment was very quiet.

The place was even nicer than it looked online. Well equipped, comfy beds and furniture. Roomy. I felt welcomed by our hosts and really enjoyed it. Easy to walk to subway, and even most of my events.
