My group and I had such a great time staying here a couple weeks ago! The house is amazing and comfortably fit our group of 10 who visited Mammoth to snowboard. The house was very clean, the amenities were fun, and the host was very helpful. A couple questions came up about the house upon arriving and the host quickly answered everything. Would 100% recommend to everyone!

I’ve been going to mammoth every year since I was a child and seen all types of properties. This one I can easily say trumps all the rest. Everything you could possibly want, this home has. Great price, amazing layout, perfect location. Fit all 10 of us very comfortably and helped make our stay so much better than expected. It has all types of entertainment and spaces for all ages. If you like the village, it was a quick 10 minute walk as well. Donna was very quick with every response and helpful with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone and planning on going back.

Communication with owner is great. Loved the location- it was great to walk over to the festival grounds. The media room, pool table, and hot tub were enjoyed by all! The only thing that may be an issue for some are all the internal stairs. We didn't have a problem, but it may be a consideration for others.

Host of the property was top notch, stayed in touch easily and accommodated our needs quickly and answered questions right away. Home is immaculate with so many amenities, we were constantly entertained and comfortable. Definitely one of my favorite experiences for vacation home rentals.

This house is a truly special place for a winter getaway. Donna was an amazing host and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. She was very understanding and helpful when weather moved in on our last night. The house was extremely comfortable and helped us to feel same and cozy during the blizzard. An easy walk to Eagle Lodge, this was the perfect weekend getaway. Would love to stay again and highly recommend you do to.

The property was perfect for my large party. We had enough beds to sleep in and it was very spacious.
We were bummed we couldn't use the hot tub but there was severe weather so there's not much the host could've done.
Perfect location and walking distance to Eagle Lodge.
The house had everything you needed!

Great house with lots of amenities. Close to eagle lodge. There were three families totaling 12 people. We opted to drive to the lodge each day instead of carrying our skis but if you have a cart it would be walkable.
House with clean and the property owner was very responsive to our needs. Honestly my only complaint was the heat lamps were broken by the bbq (it was cold when we were there).
Definitely a 5 star property and we would come back.

This was a beautiful house. We used the movie room and spa every night. The owner was very responsive and communicative. Liked all the rooms and loved that it had so many bathrooms. The different levels were great so we could put the kids one place and have adult space as well. The kitchen was great to cook in as it was very spacious. Loved that you could park in the garage! All in all a beautiful stay.

We had a great time and appreciated Donna’s communication and responsiveness. Great for a group and had everything we needed. Unfortunately and it wasn’t the owners fault, but the people before us didn’t leave enough water in the hot tub so we didn’t get to use that but Donna was very helpful in trying to get someone out to help and we let her know it wasn’t a big deal for group. Overall it was great.

We just got back home from this lovely vacation. We had stayed there for four nights and truly this was a very nice and great choice out of all others we were looking into.
Donna, who is the owner, She is very easy to talk to and communicate. She made it a very easy to check in, and anything we needed was just a text away . Her cabin/home is incredibly beautiful and well-kept and clean , all amenities were in good condition , kitchen bathroom and rooms are well equipped with everything you may need.
Most important ,the kids loved it and we did too. We are waiting to get back there for our next vacation home in Mammoth .

I love this property. It’s ion the 4th hole of Sierra Star Golf Course. It has everything you need and more. My buddies and I go to Mammoth every year for a golf trip. This place is perfect. I would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for all of us

Cant get much better than this!
If you truly want to treat yourself, book a stay at Crooked Pines. I've stayed in dozens of home rentals and this home was perfect. It's a fully custom home with super high end features. Its right on the golf course with beautiful views! It has plenty of comfortable space, a kitchen overstocked with gear, very comfortable bedrooms, overstocked bathrooms, a huge terraced media room with projector for movie nights, pool table, jacuzzi and so on!
My family appreciates a nicely appointed rental! We will definitely stay here again.

This home was terrific. Looked just like the pics, large bedrooms, well kept and well appointed. Very beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Owner was extremely responsive/communicative

The oven was filthy, and we had to clean it before using it.

Dark drink spilled on the wall in the top bedroom left side above the bed.

Luxury lodging and great location
Plenty of space throughout the cabin. Kids had fun playing pool and the theater was awesome. Easy communication with Donna. She was very accommodating and answered my questions right away. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and excellent location
Enjoyed our stay in Mammoth. This multi-level home accommodated our family of 8 adults and 7 children (ages 13-11 months) beautifully. The backyard allowed us to play badminton and enjoy the walking paths of the development. Hiking, kayaking, and the shopping areas were close bit.

I never submit reviews but felt the need to submit this review to warn others. A deposit is required by the owner that was not listed in the description when we reserved the house - this was a red flag that I wish I’d foreseen. We reserved the house 5 months in advance and the owner asked me for a separate deposit to be mailed to her 2 weeks before our trip. I didn't feel comfortable about that so the owner processed the deposit through VRBO as a payment - NOT a deposit. I didn't like that but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. She later took a processing fee for that even though VRBO said they don't charge a separate fee for that. During our trip, I was very upfront about everything. Owner had a huge list of rules so we were scared to do a lot of things to avoid our deposit being withheld. For example, we wanted to use the spa but since the owner kept stressing that the lid was new and fragile (which meant we would have to pay if it broke), we didn't even bother with it.One of the thermostats was broken so we allowed the manager to come fix while we were gone (big mistake). He came in, inspected all the rooms (without our permission), and took a picture of one of the rooms (we felt violated) where we had moved a bed over a couple of feet to make room for a blow up bed. One kid wanted to sleep in the same room as his parents vs sleeping on a bed outside the room. I checked and double checked - NOWHERE on the contract, rules, or emails did it say that we couldn't move beds/furniture. The owner told me that we shouldn't have moved the bed (I’m surprised it wasn’t in the contract and list of rules) - even accused us of having more people than we stated. She wanted to revolt(??) the bed frame even BEFORE she or the manager inspected it - she took away part of our deposit for that. My husband and another dad moved the bed and I know they were VERY careful. There was no damage even though the owner said otherwise. She showed us pictures of damage. She can say all she wants but we suspect these pictures were pictures of previous damage. We are a very honest and respectful group. If we really had broken the bed, we'd gladly pay for it and even feel bad about it - but we didn't. Because the owner processed our deposit as a payment, she only gave us part of the deposit back and we could do nothing about it. We have rented property at least once a year for the past 15 years and this was the worst rental experience ever.

We all loved this home, it's five levels and four stories. Unfortunate situation with dead animal in walls which required a heavy deodorizer to mask odor. But all in all our family loved our stay in Mammoth.

The house was amazing and location is perfect!
We had a great weekend skiing and hanging out with friends and family. The house was in the perfect location near the chairlifts. We really enjoyed our time at this is house it is beautiful.

Warm and inviting home in close proximity to mountain and other amenities
We really enjoyed the home and overall would highly recommend with some minor comments. The home is not necessarily walking distance to Eagle lift as advertised especially for kids with skis and boots. Originally we were going to have 8 dads and 8 kids as the property says it accommodates this number. While technically correct, the home has 3 very nice bedrooms and the rest are sofa sleepers if that. I had to have both my children sleep in our bedroom (not so bad, very nice room). We ended up having 4 dads and 7 kids which worked out well. Anymore and it would have been overwhelming. Also come to find out the property charges $50 per person per night over 12 people. From a value perspective fiund the property to be expensive. When we received the welcome letter, the owner had more rules to abide by then I could possibly remember and had to reread daily to make sure we were anding by them or we would be docked $. From the deposit. Don’t get me wrong the property is very nice but having stayed at lots of properties as well as renting our home out, I would suggest reading the fine print.

A great place to stay in Mammoth
I picked this home for the annual October fishing trip with my buddies. The place is unique having multiple levels which easily accommodated seven of us. Located on one of Sierra Star's golf course fairways, you can enjoy a game of pool, soak in the hot tub, or relax and watch a movie in the theater room. The home was very clean with an open kitchen and large dining table. Beds were comfortable and Donna was quick to respond to any questions. I will definitely consider staying here again on future trips to Mammoth Lakes!

Great home in a great location
This house is perfect for a get away with a larger group. We had 12 people stay and everyone was very comfortable. Great amenities and the location is perfect, far enough away from the village to not be crowded but close enough to walk over if your so inclined. Everything is kept up very nicely, you can tell the owners take great care of the place. We plan on staying again sometime soon.

As Good As it Gets
This house has it all. It is a beautifully built and appointed home. Better than the pictures. It is a vertical home, with 4 levels. It is perfect for 3 couples and kids. 2 of the couples will have their own suite with bathroom. The 3rd will share the bathroom with the 4 bed room. The bunk beds are nice. The movie room was amazing; easy to use and addicting. The kitchen is much brighter and bigger than the picture might indicate. There are so many decks I am sure we didn't use them all. The heated floors are a dream. The carpeting is in excellent condition. There are many seating areas, nooks and crannies to read a book, have a chat, etc. The dining table is great. You can sit 8 comfortably. This is a very clean, very modern home. The kids adored it. The adults too. It is so close to the lifts its ridiculous. The beds are all very comfortable.

Great family home!
What an amazing, well-constructed home! Our 3 families just returned from a trip to Mammoth and the kids are still talking about how "cool" everything was in the house: from the game room to the theater room, to the jacuzzi overlooking the golf course & swing. We loved the proximity to Eagle Lodge while still feeling very private. Lively dinners were made even better with the outdoor heated grill area and open floorplan. Thanks for letting us enjoy this wonderful property. We can't wait to come back!

We'll be back!
We had a wonderful weekend in the house and I would recommend it to friends! Our large group consisted of couples and families with children of all ages. The house offered plenty of space. We used every bed and it didn't feel crowded. There is wonderful gathering spaces and guests can still find a quite place to read. Our favorite amenities where the movie theater, hot tub, garage parking and of course the view! The pictures don't do this place justice.

Amazing Vacation Home!
Even before arriving to the home the owner provided excellent customer service. She provided our group with information regarding the home and the surrounding area. i.e. Transportation, Location, Amenities. As someone coming in from out of town and meeting up with the rest of the party, this was of major help to me. Upon arriving to the house the whole group was very amazed by how great the house was inside and out. Set at the end of the street surrounded by a wooded area and backed up to the Sierra Star Golf Course, it couldn't have been in a better area. The backyard had an enclosed hot tub and a great fire pit where we were able to enjoy a fire one night. As for location to everything else, it was centrally located in the best way. Walking distance to Eagle Lodge(10 mins max) and a 5-10 min drive to either the Village or Canyon Lodge. You couldn't really ask for more.
Now for the inside. The inside contained nothing but the best and was immaculate upon arrival. The wood throughout and the travertine stone heated floors were great for warming up after a day out on the slopes. We had a group of 14 and between the 4 bedrooms and the pull out beds it easily accommodated everyone. There were extra blankets, towels, etc for even a group as large as ours. The house has 5 levels but still manages to have an open feel. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all connect giving a big space to hang out. The best may have been the downstairs which had a full size pool table with a large HDTV on the wall and a movie theater that had some of the best sound I have ever heard. The movie theater had seating for 8 but more can easily fit. As for sound, the house was also wired throughout to play a multitude of different audio sources. There was an IPod/IPhone dock and a system that allowed for Pandora or other sites to be played at the click of a button. The kitchen has all upgraded appliances and was spacious. The grill was located right off the kitchen and was enclosed with heat lamps and ample lighting. Great for cold weather grilling! All in all it was the perfect home for entertaining a large group. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend/relative and would return if ever back in Mammoth Lakes.
