Excellent location, easy walk to the beach

This house is close to the general store, which has amazing ice cream cones, and has an easy path to the beach. We stayed at the beach until the sunset and was able to watch the fog roll in before walking back to the house. We spent most of our time playing games at the kitchen table. It can get a little stuffy upstairs but as soon as you open the slider, the fresh air fills the room. We love this house and will keep staying here!

Enjoyed the view from both decks n inside home. Cute n cozy. We cooked each night had oven issue, door wouldn't stay closed but we managed n had an awesome weekend. Great location beach was 10 min walk away.

We were so excited to spend a couple of days at Dylan beach but we were very disappointed when we arrived to our home away from home. This place was pretty dumpy! Very dirty, terrible smell of mildew upon entry that stayed with us for the entire trip. Broken windows

Nice, simple, good value beach house. Short walk from the beach was really great. And being so close to the market/cafe was a plus. The downstairs was a bit chilly in January, but not too bad. The living room and kitchen are set up nice for cooking and enjoying the view.

This was was a nice last minute holiday for 2 nights. The location close to the market was very convenient. The rental was as expected. No real complaints. It for a little cold in the evening but space heaters were available and very helpful. this would not be an issue during summer months.

Only two minor complaints: neither Netflix nor the DVD player worked, and there was a strong ketchupy smell in the house. It wasn't unpleasant, just odd.

Unfortunately we were there on the coldest week of the year, and the electric heaters weren't quite up to the challenge, so we spent some time moving heaters from room to room and wearing extra layers to keep warm. Likely much better suited to the summer! Bonus is that we were easily able to plug in our electric car to an outlet to keep it charged during our visit.

My husband and I rented this house for our 5 year anniversary. It was everything we hoped fore and more! Beautiful, clean, quiet. The view of the ocean from the balcony and windows was gorgeous! The house even came with movies and board games. And it was so close to the day use area you could walk. Fantastic stay,I HIGHLY recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very cute and well cared for. The location was great, short walk to the beach, short drive to Lawson's Landing and the marina. No cell service at least with ATT. The WIFI worked fine. The kitchen was pretty well equipped for a rental unit and all the appliances functioned very well.. John, the property manager was a Godsend. The VRBO hostess had sent us the wrong code to the key lock box. As I mentioned earlier no cell service. We had to find a high spot with cell and fortunately John responded within a couple of minutes. The hostess didn't even call back. She sent us an email some time later. Should we decide to visit beautiful Dillon Beach again we would certainly consider staying here again.

Great little spot, quit, views look out to forest, and a little skyline. Perfect for a small family, or two couples.
