I was travelling for work and visiting Ryukoku University Fukakusa campus. This is just a few minutes walk away from the campus and from two rail stations and Fushimi Inari shrine. The room was amazing - very large with comfortable beds, a large bathroom with all the amenities you need and a lot of space to relax. The in-room laundry and fridge are great for those staying longer. Very easy to check-in, great communication. Amazing bargain.
The room isn't set up for those who want to work at a desk. It also requires walking up stairs, so could be more accessible.
