Alyeska View features a stocked commercial-grade kitchen, bathroom with jetted tub and rain shower, 2 Sleep Number queen beds, and 1 twin bed with new mattress. All are made up with cozy, comfortable linens. Living room has big screen TV, overstuffed furniture and 'pint-sized' pieces for little ones. Rental is equipped with DVD's, games, and books. This unit is not handicapped accessible, as access requires climbing two flights of stairs.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay!!! Donna made the check in process so easy and she even had brownies waiting on us upon our arrival. We chose to stay here because we wanted to explore Girdwood, Ayeleska, Seward, and Whittier. Her place jad everything we needed for quite a comfortable stay, did I mention she had sleep number beds? We will definitely stay again if we are in the area because we loved it so much.

Wonderful Stay at an Amazing Property
Our family of 6 recently stayed at this beautiful property within walking distance of everything in Girdwood. From the moment we opened the door, we knew it was perfect. Donna baked yummy brownies for us and the apartment smelled wonderful when we arrived. The property was clean, spacious and very family-friendly. There were toys for the 4 year old and a Pack 'n Play for the baby. The beds were super comfy and linens were clean and crisp. The kitchen was well equipped and the views from the windows were spectacular. It snowed while we were there, so the downhill and cross country skiing was great. Donna and Jim were so personable and attentive. They provided lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this was one of the best. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Alaska.

Immaculate and very comfortable
Donna was such a welcoming hostess and made staying halfway across the world with small kids so much easier, setting up a comfy cot for our baby and toys for our four year old. Homemade brownies waiting for us after 16 hours of travel were also very much appreciated! Thanks for a wonderful stay in spotlessly clean, very comfortable surroundings.

My wife and I stayed for 3 days in this centrally located, immaculate apartment with wonderful views of the mountain from both the living room and bedroom. Jim and Donna gave us insider's information relating to the best restaurants and activities in their area. It is amazing having native Alaskan's, who are not in the tourist industry, providing valuable information. This made our trip. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Loved the Netflix on the large TV. Highest marks.

Beautiful spot
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Donna and Jim's place in Girdwood. The apartment is spacious and very cozy and comfortable. We ate out all the time, but would have enjoyed cooking in the amazing and fully equipped kitchen. Our Alaskan vacation ended on a high note thanks to our gracious hosts and the unbelievably beautiful setting in Girdwood/ Alyeska. We hope to go back there real soon!

We really enjoyed our stay. Donna was a great host, right next door but not intrusive. Great location not far from Anchorage, Whittier, Seward. Also, easy walk to local restaurants, convenient access to walk/bike trails. Beautiful views of Mt. Alyeska from the living room. We were happy to see the request to remove shoes since we do that at home. It was extremely clean, comfortable, quiet. As we were visiting during the time of the midnight sun, room darkening drapes worked great! Getting sleep was important since we were in Alaska to run a half marathon in Anchorage. The kitchen was well-equipped. Highly recommend! As mentioned in some other comments, the only caveat is for anyone who has mobility issues since you need to climb stairs to get to the apartment.
