Located on a private gated street with the Sandy river in your backyard and national forest land across the street. This cabin is all about cozy with two stone fireplaces inside and another outside on the huge deck with built in bbq.. perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The cabin has two bedrooms, one king and one queen. In the loft there is a double/twin bunkbed and additional twin bed. The master suite is upstairs and offers a Japanese soaking tub and a private deck for enjoying nature with a river view. The cabin has a large family room with wet bar, flat screen HD with surround sound, game table/bumper pool and lots of comfortable seating. Riversong is all about relaxation in a tranquil setting just a short distance to mountain sports, fishing and golf!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this remarkable property. This cabin is so beautifully quirky and comfortable. It clearly is loved and cared for by its owners. The location is gorgeous and no pictures can do justice to the whole experience of being here. I'm a professional chef and often find kitchens to be lacking at vacation rentals, but this one was great. The grill outside is terrific. Also be sure you make use of the soaking tub, if you've never tried one. We are definitely looking forward coming again!

Such an incredible property. Uniquely decorated, all the amenities one could ever want. Only problem is that it is so wonderful there you may not want to go anywhere else during your stay. Incredible deck, just perfect-everything. And very nice neighbors too.

We love staying in unique homes, and this was one of the best. So many places to relax... the huge deck, 2 living rooms, the massive master suite! I especially loved the fact that my 2 small dogs were allowed to stay.
The stairs were a bit challenging for the both of us, but we made it :)
Now that we're home, I miss the sound of the river!

Extremely comfortable and relaxing place to vacation and rest. Very well outfitted kitchen, excellent den. Note for those with mobility issues: stairs to 2nd floor could be challenging. But there's a bedroom on the ground floor. We had a terrific time and hope to return!

We booked our stay to celebrate a family birthday. The place was clean, comfortable, and quirky-we loved it. We were close to restaurants, stores, and mountain activities but enjoyed the peacefulness of the forest and river. I would definitely stay again.

This was our third time staying at the Riversong Cabin - it has by far become our favorite place to stay when we're ready for some time away on the mountain. The cabin is unbelievably cozy and peaceful, and the views cannot be beat. We were so fortunate to stay during recent snowfall and had the most magical time. We were out there at Christmas time and had hoped to go skiing at Mt Hood. But it rained the whole time! If the lay out hadn't been so outstanding, it would have been a disaster! The host was wonderful ! She couldn't have been nicer. We will return!

This cabin is a special place. We spent a weekend for pre holiday R&R and it couldn’t have been better! Zig Zag Inn pizza take out, college games on tv, fire in the fireplace and snow. The place has a style all its own and we embraced every bit of it.! Thank for sharing this perfect place!

This was our second stay at the Riversong Cabin... with many future stays ahead. The rustic nature, real wood fire place inside and outside, as well as the riverside location is just amazing and never gets old.
Sue and Steve do an amazing job of keeping it up, and making sure that everything is on track during the stay.

The home is awash in different decorative pieces, ranging from Western horse to snow activities. It has an interesting & sturdy staircase to a loft and main bedroom, which includes a large Japanese bathtub, which our grandsons loved. The kitchen is stocked with every imaginable tool and the back deck is just lovely. Easy drive to a grocery and the terrific trails at Salmon River and Little Zigzag Falls.

We have stayed in many vacation cabins in several states. This was the most unique and querky places and we loved it. The back deck with the rushing river was so relaxing. We kept the windows open at night and went to sleep listening to the river. The cabin was well stocked. There were some minor issues when we arrived but the owner was quick to respond and solved the issues. The only problem now is my wife wants a Japanese Soaking tub in our home. Where the heck am I supposed to find a Japanese Soaking tub ??? 😂

The property is located in a beautiful setting in the woods with a river running behind the property. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck before dinner with some wine overlooking the river. The house is located close to Mt. Hood, the Timberline Lodge and Trillium Lake which we visited. We also enjoyed the grill for cooking some steaks and chicken. The kitchen contained all of the amenities that we needed. The house is very comfortable. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend it to other visitors in the Rhododendron and Mt. Hood area.

This property has the perfect location for us. Water….amazing outdoor space…amazing indoor space. If you like to cook (we do!) happy gathering kitchen space. Fully stocked! Don’t bring basics. They are here and more!
My only negative thing to say is? I didn’t book a longer stay. Very sad. We will be back!

We stayed here for a week and it was great! The views were amazing and there was a lot of room for the dogs to wander. Everything was clean and stocked. The deck and BBQ overlooking the river made for a great outdoor space. Lots of good restaurants and dog friendly hikes close by. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location and excellent home!
Off the bat, the location of the property and it's proximity to some of the smaller ski-towns and big lakes was awesome! The home itself is beautiful. We spent most of the day on the back patio and during the evenings would move over to the bar/game room set up on the first floor. Susan was always very prompt and kind with responses when I had questions and checking in and out was very easy. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone!

This house was absolutely perfect! The layout was everything our family of 4 needed plus more! We loved the eclectic vibe! The location is breathtaking with the river views and sound of the river at night while sleeping. The house was well stocked with all essentials. We are from SC so we enjoyed the cool evening temps and wrapping up with one of the many comfy blankets.

Riversong Getaway
We chose Riversong for the awesome river view from the spacious deck with fireplace and grill. We were not disappointed. The sounds from the river were relaxing especially at night. The cabin itself was comfy and cozy with just a touch of quirkiness. Our boys loved it. The entire experience was very relaxing for a small family looking to get away and re-connect.

It's rustic. It's quirky. It's totally Oregon and we had a great time staying in the cabin. Location on the river was great and easy access to the parks. We used the game room every night to play cards and hang out. The deck is awesome. Hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with.
