Located twenty minutes from Government Camp and just three minutes from Sandy Ridge Trail or Wildwood Recreation Area, Haven House is perfectly situated to enable you to enjoy every activity the region has to offer. Welches Resort is five minutes away, with golf, groceries, restaurants and more. Sitting on 1.5 acres above the Sandy River, Haven House is quiet and private, yet easily accessed. You will find ample parking and the single level layout allows accessibility for all. Pets are welcome with approval. *NOTE: During winter season it is likely snow chains will be required to reach the property.* Completely renovated and newly furnished in 2021, Haven House offers a large gathering space with fireplace, supersized TV with streaming apps and a brand new kitchen with everything you’ll need to keep your group well fed. Three bedrooms on the main floor – the spacious en suite River Room, the Mountain Room and the Forest Room – all provide comfortable, creatively decorated spaces for relaxing and sleeping. There is also an inviting attic bedroom for kiddos or others, complete with Roku television and two twin beds. The huge two-tiered deck invites you into this natural wonderland. Have your morning coffee or evening drink at the bar, grill dinner on the propane BBQ and eat it while chatting over the sound of the rushing river, marvel at the stars, enjoy soaking in the new hot tub. If it’s chilly, step inside to the sunroom, sit in a rocker or do a puzzle while you absorb the view through the floor to ceiling windows. A true haven of relaxation and the perfect base for your mountain vacation, Haven House welcomes you! PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. ** This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house. We booked Haven house for a snowboard trip to Skibowl on MLK weekend 2024. A horrible storm hit the area, taking down power with no restoration timelines. While there was no generator, the woodstove was functional to assist with the frigid air, and we managed to cook dinner utilizing the provided propane BBQ. iTripNW was fast, friendly, and responsive in assisting, and extremely understanding when we cut our trip short and were unable to complete check out procedures due to the lack of power/water.
The house is lovely, lots of space. Firewood/fireplace provided. Views were magnificent.
Wish they had a generator, we would have stayed even though skibowl closed.

We hosted our CA based family for a post Christmas celebration on the mountain. While the weather didn't cooperate and we weren't able to ski, the house provided a wonderful home base. Beds were very comfy, super clean, beautiful view, well stocked kitchen, and all around a great stay! My only critique is that softer overhead lighting would make for a more homey vibe :)

We rented this house for 5 nights and it did not disappoint, there were 5 adults and our 13 month old granddaughter. The house was clean and well appointed, we cooked in the kitchen and bbq’d on the deck. The inside was just as amazing as the outside, the hot tub is a nice bonus and you can’t beat the sound of the Sandy river below. Our only complaint would be that the trees have grown and blocked a lot of the river view, it’s only a partial view now of the river, but you still have the mountains. The beds were all extremely comfortable and there was also a pack n play provided. The location seems to be right in the middle of everything, an hour or so drive to many attractions. We highly recommend Silver Falls State Park for its waterfall hike and the town of Sandy just 15 minutes away…Joe’s Donuts are a must try! The property managers checked in with us
and were always extremely helpful. We loved Haven House!

Great location, great views and great facilities overlooking the Sandy River in Brightwood.
In fact we decided to extend our stay by a day.
Only drawback was that the front yard needs some maintenance, it has some pieces of junk lying around and was full of shrubs.

This place was peaceful and spacious. I had a short reading and writing retreat there, and being able to take breaks in the hot tub, looking at the river, was marvelous. All of the rooms are well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was lovely. Definitely need a return trip! Perfect getaway from Portland.

This place is AMAZING. We will definitely plan on staying here again. Very cozy, yet spacious, warm, inviting house. Remodeled, up to date interior. The back deck over looking the river is mesmerizing. The hot tub is awesome. Snow was falling as we relaxed in the hot tub. Picturesque! Extremely clean house, clean kitchen with all the utensils and things you need and the bedrooms were super clean and cozy. Our kids were super excited to get back to the house to enjoy the upstairs loft bedroom area. 10 stars out of 5!

Simple and easy check in process. The home is in a perfect location tucked away a short distance from many hiking trails and snow sport areas. Not too far from town either. The amenities were top tier as well.

We were very happy with this home for a number of reasons. It was clean, spacious, in a quite neighborhood just off the Highway and only 20 minutes from the slopes! The host responded quickly to any and all questions. The hot tub was easy to use and very relaxing. Our 2 year old loved the loft bedroom above the garage! Looking forward to renting this property again.

Great looking house but awful from the start. We asked to check in early and were told no because guests were checking out the same day. When we arrived the house was freezing as if no one had stayed there for days. The wood stove wasn't working well because the power to the fan had been removed and there were no clear directions on how to operate it without the fan. Called the office and they weren't sure either. We couldn't operate the TV except for the ROKU because they removed the TV manufacturer remote. The house would not warn up so we had to use our sleeping bags and heated blankets to get through the evening. Then at bedtime we lost water, couldn't shower or use the toilets. They sent someone at noon the following day but he couldn't fix it so they said we would need to leave, no offering to help us find another place and we couldn't find another place last minute for 5 of us adults to stay so we told them we had to return home and all they said to us was "Safe travels!". We were told they would refund us the last 2 nights but we were out the $400+ for the first miserable night. We will NEVER stay here or use iTrip Northwest again.

Great location. House and amenities were as described. Kitchen is large and well equipped. Beds comfortable and excellent linens. Good communication with itrips. Some minor annoyances were the following: skimpy cleaning supplies and the shower in the master bedroom is almost impossible to adjust.

The Perfect Vacation Home
We absolutely loved our stay! Very modern home and perfect location. We have stayed in a lot of vacation homes over the years and this was the Cleanest home we have ever stayed at!!
The outside deck is wonderful, a perfect way to end a busy day of sightseeing. Beds were VERY comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked and very organized. All the little extra details about this house really makes it a 5 star…hooks for hanging things in bedrooms & bathrooms, full length mirrors, cozy blankets, games for kids, entry way with tons of hooks for hanging coats when coming in. If we are ever in Oregon again we would definitely stay again!

The Perfect Home
This home looked just like it did in the pictures. It was clean and spacious. Check in and out was simple. All the beds were super comfortable and the mattress in the closet was a great addition. The back deck is large and the view is amazing. The hot tub was awesome after a full day of boarding!! The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare different kinds of meals. I would return to this property.
