This place is really great! It’s clean, enough space for many people, and you can’t beat the locafkon, literally a 3 minute walk to the slopes. I highly recommend this place.

There were a lot of forms to sign off on and email instructions and information. Too much to comb through and resulted in us calling in a few times to get information.
We were surprised at the bare bones of what was stocked.
Overall, it was comfortable except the bed was too firm and pillows were flat

The location is everything! Just a 3 minute walk to snow summit. It was so fun sitting in the jacuzzi and watching folks ski down #2! Great location.

Was perfect location for my boyfriend and his son to walk to snow summit. Overall it was a great trip.

Perfect location but checking in and out was a mess. Checkin was 20min late, and checkout was 30min early, as the cleaning crew showed up unannounced.
The bathroom upstairs was unavailable to use because it was leaking water over the front door.
They did not offer any compensation for having a bathroom down. The guest book was full of conflicting information regarding house rules and wifi information.

This property was beautiful and just what we needed. It was convenient to the mountain bike park in the summer for my husband. It also had a great view.

Great location, huge kitchen, awesome hot tub. You can't beat the location being walking distance to the chairlifts. The hot tub was a huge bonus. Only drawbacks were there were no shower gel/shampoo/etc, and towels were VERY limited. It would be a good idea to bring your own towels for the hot tub.

Obviously a fantastic location within a very short walking distance to the lifts and a warm and bubbling spa on the balcony overlooking the slopes. I don't ski so I really enjoyed watching my family come down the hill.
Large kitchen with lots of counter space (note to manager: I missed potholders, had to use wash clothes, and a cookie sheet would be an added bonus). :)
The master bed is blissfully comfortable.
There is a washer / dryer on site which is convenient (no detergent supplied).
WiFi worked great.
Gaining Access:
I rented a 2-night stay thru VRBO; with all past rentals I'm used to being able to simply go to the house w/a code to open the door. In this case the condo is managed by Destination Big Bear. In order to gain access to the unit you have to physically 'check-in' to their office across town during business hours. I'm not sure why because after everything, the key is at a lockbox at the rental and they text you the code when it's time to check in.
Also- there is an extremely rude, completely toothless, aggressive woman named Brandi 'working' at the entrance of the townhomes on the weekends. She is scar-eee. You have to have a parking pass or she WILL NOT LET YOU IN. I was not given a pass (or even told I needed one) when I checked in to Destination Big Bear, requiring another stop to another rental office for another ID check. Brandi will not even let friends in to visit, even after the rental office told me it was fine, requiring another visit for another pass. The front desk manager said "they are very strict about parking". Exhausting.
All in all, a fine space but plan to bank some time for checking in at a separate site and make sure you ask for that parking pass!

Location, location
Can’t beat the location. The property is next door to snow summit. It was super easy and convenient especially with kids. We could walk back and forth to the mountain. Would stay here again.

Great Location!
This property is in a great location if you want to walk to the slopes. The place was welcoming and very comfortable, and was more than enough space for me and my two children. The only issue we had was that the heat upstairs and downstairs varied greatly but we adjusted for it and it was great overall!

The place was nice except for the minor inconveniences throughout our stay. There was no hot water for some of the sinks for the bathrooms and kitchen (not sure if it was separate plumbing ran throughout the condo). Some of the burners on the stoves worked. The main wifi for the unit was not active, we ended up having to use the secondary which was slow. In addition the cable was not active and required us calling in to have to deal with the cable company on vacation. Ultimately not worth the hassle and left as is.
Minus the few inconveniences, the location was ideal and perfect for our stay.

The condo has a great layout! Bedrooms downstairs with plenty of storage for ski gear. Upstairs kitchen and living room, comfy coach with fantastic views of the mountain! We had a great stay, and were very comfortable. Heater works great, kitchen was stocked well. Hot tub was a little wore out, and mattress in master bedroom should be replaced (there is hole on the side closest to bathroom). BE WARE - this owner/property manager charges a "damage waiver" this is a non-refundable fee. Instead of charging a higher cost with a refundable deposit, they charge a waiver at a lower cost, but you do not get your money back. I have never heard of this before, we always take excellent care of the places we stay. I would have rather paid a higher $ amount and get it all back. They may want to consider giving renters the option between the two. Lesson learned I won't be renting another place that has a "damage waiver". That is really my only complaint. If you are fine with paying a non refundable damage waiver, then I would definitely recommend staying here. Location couldn't be better!!

Drop-In to Summit
We rented the Drop-In to Summit condo from Destination Big Bear for my friend's snowboarding bachelorette weekend. It was a perfect size for the 5 of us, and we couldn't have asked for a better location right on the slopes! It was just as gorgeous as the pictures, and we LOVED being able to sit out in the jacuzzi on the deck at night looking at the ski runs and stars. It was also a great location for being a 5 minute drive to the village. However, we did have 3 maintenance issues. First, one of the toilets was out of order for the entire weekend- we notified the office who said that due to the extensive repair needed, the owners had chosen to wait until after the last renters of the season (us) to fix it. We were told the manager would call us back to follow up, but we never heard from him. Fortunately there were two other functioning bathrooms still. When we arrived, we noticed the coffee pot was cracked but the maintenance worker arrived shortly after reporting it to replace then entire coffee maker and pot with a brand new one which was great! Last, the refrigerator door would not stay closed so we had to keep a chair pushed up against it in order to keep our food cold. Thank goodness for those awesome heavy log dining table chairs! We are not prissy girls who like to complain so we worked around these minor issues and had a wonderful weekend at the condo nonetheless!

Awesome Stay
I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service from desitination Big Bear. The condo was just as nice as advertised and the pictures were spot on. When I couldn't find a blender in the condo, they actually bought a new one for us and brought it right over. First class service, with outstanding customer service. Best property mangament company I have ever dealt with.
