Nestled amid tall trees at the end of a cul-de-sac, this charming 3BR/2BA home offers a quiet, secluded retreat while still being within a 1.5-mile radius of Big Bear Lake Village, the slopes of Snow Summit, and Meadow Park. You'll also be just steps from the San Bernardino Forest and Snow Summit hiking and mountain biking trails. This beautifully remodeled home includes new appliances, furniture, and flooring. Knotty pine wainscoting and a wood-burning fireplace add rustic-chic appeal. Outside, you'll find a quaint front porch, private hot tub, back deck, and fenced yard with outdoor games that include a dart board, bean bag toss, and horseshoe pit. Ample driveway parking is available, so feel free to bring your boat along! LIVING AREA The living area features a sectional and armchair, as well as a 64in smart TV with Roku. A wood-burning fireplace with brick surround provides added allure. KITCHEN & DINING Whip up hearty meals in the well-equipped kitchen, detailed with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Gather for meals at the dining table for six. BED & BATH This two-story home sleeps six adults. On the second floor, the primary bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed and a 32in smart TV with Roku. Great for kids, the second bedroom on this floor has a twin-over-twin bunk bed (with a twin trundle), a bean bag chair, an arcade game machine, and a 32in smart TV with Roku. The primary and second bedrooms share access to a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Downstairs, the third bedroom offers a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination (which can also be accessed via the dining room). OUTDOOR AREA Sip morning coffee on the front porch furnished with built-in bench seating. Gather for meals on the outdoor deck with alfresco dining for five. You'll also find a four-person table and a few outdoor games in the large fenced yard. Enjoy indulgent soaks in the private four-person hot tub. EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS Complimentary Wi-Fi, beach chairs and an umbrella, arcade and board games, a washer/dryer in the laundry room are provided. Maximum parking for three vehicles and a boat or RV (up to 12' wide). Street parking is not permitted. Firewood is available for purchase at nearby stores. Although this home doesn't have A/C, it is rarely needed with Big Bear's mild summer temperatures. Ceiling fans throughout provide a comfortable breeze. The City of Big Bear Lake requires a face-to-face check-in with the property manager. The credit card and ID that was used to make the reservation must be present upon arrival. Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. Parties prohibited. No refunds due to eviction for noise disturbances, over-occupancy, or excess vehicles. VRR-2021-1104 THINGS TO KNOW Due to local ordinances, guests are required to complete an In-person check-in at the local office, before heading to the home. The reservation holder must present photo identification upon check-in. Failure to comply can result in penalties including but not limited to, citations to both Vacasa and the guest as well as non-refundable eviction from the home. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We found many quirky parts to this place that weren't detrimental to our stay. Disappointed in the broken hot tub (another review mentioned this almost 10 months ago). The worst part honestly was the beds. We had a hard time wanting to do anything because of the resulting pain. Lots of potential if an employee stayed over night to find /correct the quirks like tapped windows, missing light pull tabs, hot tub, etc.

Well first of all the beds suck. Did jacuzzi only half the Jets working it it's totally run down and needs work to it. The showers have no water pressure at all. For what we paid for 3 days almost $1,000 it's totally not worth it I could have went to Laguna Beach for half of that for 3 days totally not worth it.

Make sure you are sure footed and strong enough to carry your suitcase!

The property location was great. Quiet neighborhood, close to hiking trails, beautiful in the snow. Very clean, but a couple of things that needed repair (like the ladder on the bunkbed). Our only complaint was that they gave us a code to the door that didn't work, so it took some texts and some extra time to actually get into the property.

The location was great. All was clean but there were a lot of things that either didn’t work or work right (Keurig ). Also the stairs are so steep and narrow that they are hard to carry luggage up. Really steep. I wouldn’t think this could be to code. Anyway, that being said, it was a fun weekend!

Everything was great about this cabin other than the upstairs bathroom. The shower is not user friendly and very outdated. There’s a trick to making it turn on and the instructions emailed do not make it any easier. When I called to ask for more details even the person on the phone couldn’t help so they had to send a maintenance guy who showed up within 2hrs. So we had to wait to shower in that bathroom which we were not happy about. It even took the maintenance guy a few minutes to figure it out and he even thought it was a really weird shower. I would recommend that they have a photo to show you what to do to turn it on going forward.

The roku tv in the living room worked well and we had a lot of fun cooking meals in the kitchen. It is about a mile walk into town with all of the cute big bear shops. I would definitely stay at this property again. The only issue we had was during the initial check in. The electronic code provided didn't work until about the tenth time we tried it. Lovely Retreat Away
I was looking for a nice cabin to get away for my 40th bday in COVID times, and this place was a great fit for a low-key 4 night getaway. It snowed a few days before our arrival and that made it all the more better!
Highlights:
-Hot Tub - worked well for daily soaks in the back, and the washer/dryer in the laundry room made drying towels and suits easy.
-Fireplace & huge TV - We spent most evenings with a fire burning and chill tunes on the TV with the Roku app. We just logged in to some of our apps and had the entertainment comfort we have at home.
-Kitchen - Clean, spacious, and awesome gas-burning stove for cooking. Plenty of kitchen tools/cookware to use, and we cooked 90% of our meals there.
-Backcountry trails - The house sits at the end of the street where the hiking trails begin and that was awesome to not have to drive anywhere to start a snowy hike.
Just had two small issues:
-Coffee Pot is a dual Kuerig k-pot and full coffee pot machine, but it would not brew a pot of coffee the entire time. We ended up having to go to Starbucks each morning, which wasn't bad but I hope they get that fixed for future guests.
-Kitchen garbage disposal did not work. Just that humming noise where it was trying to kick in. Not awful, but just meant a slower drain and hopefully they get that fixed.
All in all a great little spot and we would definitely stay again.
