Located in Dallas, this attractive house for $589 per night is a great option for your next break. We are able to do Monthly or longer bookings on this property. This property is hugh, warm and inviting. The drive up appeal is unsurpassed and walking into this home is awe inspiring. This 4800 sq. ft property is well maintained and is the perfect solution for a trip to Dallas. It is professionally cleaned using the most current cleaning guidelines. The Grand ENTRANCE is tiled with a bronze tile an exquisite chandelier and large double doors. There is an extremely large LIVING ROOM (22x35) or great room, where there is ample room for gatherings of no more than 24. There are 2 large sofas, 2 coffee tables and more sitting with 3 cozy arm chairs and a few side chairs. It has a gas fireplace. The formal DINNING ROOM is 14x16 and has a large table with one leaf added plus an additional leaf. There are 10 chairs matching the dining table and an additional 2 chairs, a small glass oval table and a server. Moving to the large KITCHEN area which is 20x12. This beautiful bright kitchen which houses a large Samsung refrigerator a Viking Professional Convection oven, a Viking Professional microwave and a Bosch dish washer. The kitchen is stocked with many cooking gadgets (everything from a Watermelon cutter to a popcorn maker) and small appliances (can opener, toaster, crock-pot, tea maker, juicer, etc). There is a coffee pot serving 12 cups or a large coffee pot that makes 20-30 cups and a Nessresso single serve expresso maker. I like to stock a few additional items in the frig and or pantry. Feel free to use whatever is here. It is for your convenience. The Breakfast Area is 12x13 and has a large glass table with 6 chairs and a TV and radio. The separate UTILITY ROOM sits just off the kitchen nook. The Utility room is large with Whirlpool Washer/Dryer plus an extra full size refrigerator. The DEN (game room) is 23x20 and contains a wet bar. It has a fireplace, large TV, card table, 4 bar stools and a theater type sofa with coffee table. This homes sleeps 12 in the beds and 2 children (1 youth bed and 1 portable crib). This 4.5 bedroom home has 4 king size beds and 2 sets of bunk-beds (twin top & bottom) 1 full bunk with trundle (Full top & bottom plus twin pull out trundle), a trundle bed and a futon. That is comfortable bedding for 8 persons in the king beds, 2 persons in the trundle 9 persons in the bunk beds(the full bunk has a twin trundle mattress) and 2 children in the youth and portacrib. Additional bedding can be added if needed. There are 4 vanity areas in 3 bathrooms. 3 full baths (2 with showers and 2 tubs) The MASTER BEDROOM (Bedroom #1) is 31x16 and has 2 King beds plus it includes a small side bedroom (has the trundle) that can be used as a nursery. The master bathroom has a huge sunken tub as well as a separate shower. The toilet is off to the side with a door. There are two huge walk in closets, plus 2 sets of linen cabinets. The two additional bedrooms 14x16 and 14x17 have walk in closets, separate vanities and share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a large tub (no shower). The bedroom is 14x17 also has a set of bunk-beds in it. The front bedroom 15x12 has a set of bunk-beds (Full) and a bathroom with a tub and shower combo. This bathroom is also the guest bathroom and is in the hallway between the kitchen and den. This is a unique home that you'll be delighted with on your trip to Dallas. It is close to White Rock Lake, Lakewood Country Club, The Santa Fe Trial, Tennyson Memorial Park, Tietze Park, The Arboretum and Lakewood Shopping Center with local shops, restaurants and bars. The property sits on 3/4 of an acre of land. It has a beautiful double wide circular drive in the front of the house that can accommodate approximately 10 cars. The driveway to the back is gated with a double wide drive. 8 cars can park in the large gated and paved back driveway area. It has an electric gate with code. Discounts for weekly or monthly rentals. There is a 16 person maximum allowed if owner allows. For overnight guests the maximum is 15.

My family stayed in this house on the weekend of my wedding and it could not have been more perfect! There was plenty of space to spread out and also enjoy time together. We cooked several meals for the entire group, grilled dinner one night, played in the back yard frequently, and enjoyed the piano in the den. It was a lot of fun and very relaxing to have so much space in this house. We had a couple people get lost when they first tried to find their room because the wing with the bedrooms is so large and quiet. Very nice. We will use it for family gatherings again!
The owners were wonderful too. Very helpful and great communication. Someone had left the grill open to the elements at some point and they quickly brought over new grates for it so we did not need to grill on foil. Very conscientious and helpful!

Big House Great Location
Our large (10 people) family group was very comfortable staying in this Lakewood Hills home. The beds are comfortable, with plenty of towels and toiletries provided. The rooms are spacious with a nicely appointed kitchen. Hosts were very responsive and nice to deal with. The house's location was excellent-near White Rock Lake, the Arboretum, downtown and SMU. Would book again!

Family Wedding
What an outstanding home! We would highly recommend this lovely retreat with enough room for families to eat, sleep, and spend quality time together! Debbie and Paul are hospitality plus! They respond quickly to any question. They even provided us with Texas truffles -welcoming us to the property! The occasion for our stay was a family wedding at The Dallas Arboretum. This beautiful home was a great setting for our team meeting
This home was an oasis for our international team meeting. I loved cooking in the top notch kitchen. Working with Paul and Debbie was wonderful and easy. Having our team meeting in a home was far better for team building than a hotel setting. We would do this again. There are many extra touches of hospitality. We had everything we needed.

Perfect for our family Christmas celebration
I really appreciated the holiday decorations. We had children at the celebration and they made it special for them. We cooked a big breakfast for all every morning and having pans made it very easy for us. Hope we get to use the house again.

Great Wedding Weekend Home
My husband and I were so thrilled to be able to have our children and their spouses, coming from all over the country, gathered at this amazing home for the wedding of my niece. As the family grows it gets harder and harder to have everyone in one place but this house was absolutely perfect. And it was within minutes of the venue (Dallas Arboretum) and the reception (Times Ten Cellars). It is also within minutes of 2 grocery stores and pretty much anything else you need. Debbie and Paul were wonderful hosts and very flexible about numbers, since I wasn't sure until almost wedding time who was going to be able to be there. Thanks Debbie and Paul. We would certainly stay here again.

Great Place for Big Gathering
We rented this property for our family to stay in Dallas to celebrate our son's wedding. We chose the property as it was conveniently located to both the wedding ceremony at the White Rock Lake and the reception at Hickory Street Annex. We have 15 people in our group and the house is spacious enough to make everyone feel comfortable. We also hosted a rehearsal dinner on the back porch for 50 guests and everyone seems to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The owners, Debbie and Paul, were very thoughtful and have stocked all toiletry and pantry needs before our arrival. We appreciate the opportunity to call this place home for a few days as we get a chance to catch up with our extended families. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place for family gatherings in Dallas. Mike and Kim

Amazing house and location
Had our family reunion there and everybody raved about it. Lots of room to gather as well as get away for the occasional nap or find some silence. Close to Whiterock Lake (i think that is the name) which has a 9 mile walking/bike path and Whole Foods is literally a few blocks away.
The owner is also very cool and easy to work with, which is an added bonus.
Anyway, I would most definitely recommend this home and its owner.

Perfect stay & location
We had a great time at this property. Perfect location, close Uber ride to anywhere in the Dallas area you need to go to. Debbie was extremely responsive and helped us with everything we needed during our stay, even brought cupcakes over! Amazing house, plenty of beds and room for our group. Big back yard to throw the football and relax before whatever activities you have planned. Highly recommend staying here and if we ever need a place in Dallas for a group, this will be our first stop. More space than anyone should need and much more fun than group rates at a hotel to all be under one roof.

Amazing layout for a large group and the owners are fantastic
We planned an event here to get 12 friends from high school together and play video games all weekend. There was enough space for everyone to get to sleep in a bed, and a lot of open spaces so we could all be in the same room.
The hosts were very accommodating, and even helped set up extra tables so that we didn't have to bring our own. Overall, it was an excellent stay and I would recommend this property to anyone with a large group.

Wonderful
My family and extended family rented this home over New Years weekend to celebrate a belated Christmas celebration, a seminary graduation and a first birthday. The space was perfect for all of these events. The home has so much parking and is gated for security, which we appreciated. The home was still decorated for Christmas, which we appreciated since we were celebrating late. The residence was stocked on necessary supplies, even hair dryers. We didn't go without anything we needed.
The only con I can think of is that although there are 3 bathrooms, there are only 2 showers, which made getting ready in the morning a little challenging as we had to be strategic with taking turns for showers. Definitely a first world problem :)
The residence is extremely quiet and private despite being almost in the middle of Dallas. There is a Whole Foods and a Tom Thumb Grocery nearby, which we used.
The owner was absolutely wonderful. Before we even arrived she communicated so well with us over the phone and was so gracious. She showed my family around the property on arrival.

Beautiful and spacious, well-located property
We stayed at this property over the Christmas holidays and my family and I can't say enough great things about the entire experience. The house itself is enormous and immaculately kept with lots of different areas to socialize. Our group of 12 had more space than we knew what to do with and everyone kept commenting on how comfortable the house was--the weather was abnormally warm for the season so we ended up hanging out quite a bit on the huge covered back patio and backyard--no one wanted to leave. We cooked several meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed---the Nespresso machine was a nice surprise! Plenty of bathrooms and an impressive hot water system that never seemed to run out (there were a couple of wonderfully large bath tubs that definitely got used).
It is located in a great area with Whole Foods and a Tom Thumb Grocery within 2 minutes either direction---also a Starbucks both ways as well. There is a great selection of dining (including delivery) in the area and downtown was a quick and easy Uber ride. Because of the way the property sits back off the street, it is extremely quiet and private despite being almost in the middle of Dallas. It also sits right next to a really pretty golf course which we would have liked to check out.
The owner was absolutely lovely and showed us around the property on arrival with a follow-up call to see if we needed anything. She had decorated the whole house for Christmas and even set up a huge tree in the main living area--complete with little gifts under it for us!! We've stayed in lots of short-term rentals before, but this one was definitely the most memorable.

Thanksgiving Family Reunion
My family members have been celebrating our Thanksgiving family reunion each year in different locations of the country for many years and this was one of the our best Thanksgiving celebrations mainly because of both the outstanding property and the hosts. The house is spacious, clean and well organized. It had everything we needed for the comfort and enjoyment. The huge patio is a great place for relaxing outside in the spacious and beautiful backyard. This property is almost noise free because it is located so far away from the street. Both Debbie and Paul provided everything we requested. They are such gracious hosts. My entire family members who stayed at the property rated this property as a Five Star property.

Just the right fit!
Dear Debbie and Paul,
Thank you so much for opening your house to our group for our spiritual retreat. It was a very intense experience for those of us who participated, living under the same roof and sitting in silent meditation for many hours a day, taking meals, doing chores, etc., as a community, all in silence (except on the last day, when we concluded, and went back to normal mode of talking, etc....) The facilities were very suitable, as the living room space provided the ambience we needed to lay out the sitting mats and cushions and be able to sit in silence together. There was sufficient space for participants to park their cars, and this was truly a blessing, among others. And your open-hearted welcome to us on the first day, and greetings on the concluding day, were deeply appreciated by all of us. We are truly grateful to you, and hope you will allow us to use it again for future retreats, two or three of which are scheduled in 2017.
