Located in Netarts, this charming cottage for $200 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. NO DOGS ALLOWED Words and pictures hardly do this gorgeous home justice. Pristine furnishings, beachy decor, and updated kitchen bring a sense of elegance and are beautifully enhanced by the bright walls and large windows. Enjoy breathtaking views of the dramatic coastline and gorgeous sunsets from this five-star home. Take a seat on the large comfortable sofa and relax by the fire, enjoy the flatscreen TV, or just take in the stunning ocean views from the large windows. Cable and WiFi are included here so you can still watch the morning news or easily look up directions to a nearby restaurant. Prepping meals is a dream in this gorgeous kitchen complete with updated appliances, crisp white cabinets, and smooth quartz countertops. There's no need to leave the house for meals when you have everything you need to create delicious meals right at home! Also included are a microwave and plenty of cookware and dishes. There is a full bathroom on the main floor and for your convenience, there is a half bathroom near the entry and also a stacking washer and dryer. So feel free to pack light and have peace of mind that you'll always have clean clothes for the next day's activities. Wake up to stunning bay views from the bedroom on the main floor. Relax in a comfortable queen size bed and enjoy some privacy by closing off the room with custom made barn doors. Upstairs is another bedroom with a queen-size bed. The angled skylights will allow you to enjoy bay and ocean views as well as see the stars at night as you fall asleep. Both are high quality mattresses wrapped in luxurious linens for a dreamy night’s sleep. This house can comfortably sleep 4 adults. Between beachcombing, hiking, birdwatching, crabbing, and looking for clams, you can all stay happily occupied, but there's definitely much more to see if you do feel like exploring a little farther out. Fishing charters, more hiking trails, kayaking and much more can be found within 20 minutes of the house. And don't miss out on taking a tour and sampling amazing cheeses at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. My husband and I have visited the Saltair cottage several times over the last few years. It is always very clean and has a kitchen stocked with pots/pans/dishes, even a crock-pot so you can easily stay in to eat. The location can't be beat with the sound of the ocean and the constantly changing tides. Beautiful. My husband had been hoping to be there for a winter storm and we hit it just right this time - two atmospheric rivers in one week!! Wild and crazy. We love the Saltair and have recommended it to many friends.

This was our first time to Oregon. This home was better than expected. The photos really don't do it justice. The beach was very private. We enjoyed our early morning walks on the sand and taking in the beautiful coast waters. It was sunny for most of the days we were there. We couldn't have asked for better weather. The home was very well stocked with everything. We really liked being able to open up the bedroom windows to let the cool air in at night and hear the ocean waves. It would have been nice to have been able to open the windows in the living room but the window on the patio door does open so that was a plus. The floors were clean and the bed linens smelled crisp. Both beds were very comfortable. We stayed with 2 teens and found it was plenty of room for us. We drove up and down the Oregon Coast and had a lovely time. We enjoyed Cannon Beach, Depoe Bay, Tillamook, Willamette Valley, Salem, Portland and of course Netarts. This was definitely one of our most enjoyable trips. Hope to go back to Oregon again and would stay at this same location again. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Hope to be back again to see what else Oregon has to offer.

We were delighted with our return to Saltair cottage. Especially pleased with the notification that it was available a few hours early, we checked in and walked up the shore to Oceanside. The cottage is sparkling clean,thoughtfully decorated, across the bay from a herd of seals and an eagle who sits on the shore. Next time we hope to try our hand at digging clams and crabbing. Perfect for a coastal getaway!

It looks just as advertised and ended up being the perfect spot for my mother, daughter and I to spend a few days. We wanted something cozy on/near the water, just in case the weather kept us indoors, so we could still enjoy a view… and this did not disappoint! It’s very well stocked with just about everything you’d need, the beds were comfortable and communication was great. We hope to come back again soon!

This property is exactly as listed. It sits right on the bay in Netarts. Also a very short walk over to the actual beach. The bay allows for lots of exploring in the water without fear of the currents and waves for our kids. The house itself was perfect for a family of four with slightly older children. Incredibly clean and well stocked with unbelievable views. We typically don’t go back to vacation homes more than once, but we will definitely be back to this one! Highly recommended!

Saltair is a cozy cottage that is in very good condition and nicely furnished. It was a perfect size for us as a couple, but might be a little tight for 4 adults. We loved the location at the mouth of Netarts Bay, you get all the drama of being on the ocean without the pounding surf, and the changing landscape with the tide is always interesting.

Saltair resides abeam the confluence of Netarts Bay and the Pacific on the easterly shore of the bay, the northern sandbar tip of Cape Lookout only several hundred yards to the west of Saltair across the bay. The relentless surf provides a soothing, melodic, natural symphony accompanying the daily ebb of high and low tides. Adding to this ageless natural cycle is the scudding of fall's rain squalls, all observed from the comfort of the Saltair living room with a wood burning fireplace, a great novel, and a cup of hot tea. The adjacent area surrounding Netarts has fresh offerings of Pacific Northwest seafoods. Dining out or bringing your catch back to the Saltair to prepare is possible. Recharged, relaxed and inspired.

This is the idyllic weekend getaway. Beautiful house, well-appointed and flawlessly cleaned. Sarah from Shore Thing rentals was incredibly helpful. She sent detailed check in instructions, texted me to make sure I had the check in information and was available for any issues (there were none). I will definitely stay here again…and again. The beach was empty and full of seashells and sand dollars. We played games, had a fire in the fireplace (thanks for providing wood and instructions)! Easy driving distance to beach towns and the cheese factory. The beds were really comfortable with soft bedding and you can stargaze while laying down in the upstairs bedroom. Amazing!

We loved this place from the moment we opened the front door. Perfect for 2 seniors. Decor and layout ideal for this siz cottage right on the beach. Very well equipped and from reading the guest book everyone else was just as enamored as we were. Had a fire every evening. Small convenience store nearby. Tried out both the very close restaurants and enjoyed a tour of the Tillamook creamery. Just to advise there are no closets and only one full bath downstairs.

I have been coming to this area for 20 years though this was my first stay at Saltair Cottage. This home is lovely, absolutely perfect. It is clean, with beautiful light, well appointed and very comfortable. The photos are very accurate and show just a glimpse of the beauty just outside the door. We absolutely loved our time at this cottage. The loft area was perfect for our 2 tweens. The home had everything we needed and many extras we weren’t expecting. The location was excellent to travel up and down the coast and so fun to explore the beach during low tides.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The proximity to the beach is amazing and the bay itself is so peaceful and quiet. Everything was spotless and there was plenty of cookware in the kitchen. We cooked most of our meals and enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings. We also ate at Schooners which I highly recommend. One thing to note is that there is not a door to the bedroom upstairs. It wasn't a problem for us at all, but might be for other groups. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great house right on the beautiful bay. It was good for our kids (ages 1 and 4). They had a booster seat put out for us, and there was a pack n play as well.
