While beach access is sometimes available right from the property via a short but quite rugged trail, please be advised that the path may not be accessible at all times of the year due to erosion and seasonal changes. Easier access is available just a mile away at the Yachats State Recreation Area. When you arrive, you'll feel your stress and worries start to melt away. Get comfortable at the window seat and use the binoculars to look for ocean life, curl up on the couch with a good book, or watch some satellite cable or a DVD on one of the four TVs (there are also four VCRs here). The living room is also a perfect spot to watch a dramatic winter storm as you stay nice and comfy indoors in front of the fire.
