Location was brilliant for the family
Seeing the trains coming and going was a fun bonus

Since we were doing multiple day trips during our time in Kyoto the location across from the train station was really convenient. The kids, especially our youngest loved the Pokémon themed room, particularly giant Snorlax. It was nice to have more space to spread out. We also really liked being able to cook dinner in our room instead of going out every night.
While the room overall was great and clean, I found that the toilet room had a faint smell to it that I didn’t find pleasant. The rest of our group didn’t really notice as much. I think it’s probably the result of it being a very small room in a humid environment but the hotel should consider efforts to mitigate.
