House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 8-10). 'Crows Nest' Like being at the top of a tall ship, panoramic Pacific Ocean views! This beautiful comfortable FOUR bedroom, two full bath home welcomes 8 guests. Fully equipped with fresh linens, towels and a washer/dryer.When you walk through the gate a gorgeous garden greets you with flowers, herbs, buzzing hummingbirds, bird bath, picnic table, chairs and a Weber Grill all await you. Enjoy our large deck view of rolling hills behind you, watch a full moon come up, or enjoy a nice glass of wine on a starry night. No neighbors to the North, just some happy California cows and their calves grazing the lush sloping green pastures down to the sea. Got bucks? We do, big antlers/horns and lots of deer, fawns, foxes, bobcats, and bunnies. Just a 5 minute walk down to the beach an array of seabirds, shells, beach glass, seals, seagulls, driftwood, starfish, and tide pools all waiting for you to explore. Walk through the front door and it feels like home. Big family room with high ceilings, leather couch, comfy chairs, wood burning stove, TV, VCR, DVD, CD player, large picture windows, a spotting scope for your pleasure! Formal dining area, gourmet kitchen, cookbooks, large selection of pots and pans, tea, coffee, cream, and sugar provided. Upstairs are three bedrooms with great ocean views, and a full bath. sitting area with recliner a built in couch with big colorful pillows, huge bookcase full of good books, surely something for everyone to enjoy. Stunning views of the garden below and rolling hills. The master bedroom is downstairs with it's own full bath, wood stove, awesome ocean and pasture views! Local attractions and favorite places include, golfing, shopping, horseback riding on the beach, surfing, sports fishing, biking, kayaking, galleries, local wineries, candy and kite stores, great restaurants with locally caught fresh seafood! Arriving for the holidays? A beautifully decorated tree with lights, perfectly placed ornaments and decoration throughout this home gives it a very warm and festive feeling. Enjoy!

Lovely peaceful views of beach and hinterland. Charming interior, plenty of sleeping.
The hosts are fabulous people, extremely easy and amendable and available to answer questions and inquiries.

We enjoyas of first moment that we arrived home at Crow's nest in Bodega Bay. Property manager was wonderful every step away and home offer all what was offers as of day one I have found for our family vacation stay. We are planning to refer the home to our family & friends and be back as well. I would like to give 10 + stars to all great stay & organisation that we experience here. Thank you to the wonderful property manager Mia offering such a specials home for us to stay. We all appreciated and we will be in touch again soon.

We took our (mostly) adult kids and their partners here for a weekend celebration of my 60th birthday. What a sweet, peaceful place this was! Mia was easy to work with in booking and arranging logistics, and everything was as advertised. It had plenty of room for our large group, with a well-equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms. We gathered around the large dining table for meals and card games, played video games on the living room TV, enjoyed fires in the woodstove, BBQed burgers and steak on the grill, and enjoyed seeing wildlife out the windows. One morning, a bobcat was wandering the field behind to catch gophers, and we got to watch and take photos for quite some time. The beach was an easy walk, and the neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. Thank you, Mia!

Stayed here with extended family of 5 adults, 4 children (ages 4–7), and 1 dog for Labor Day weekend. Communication with Mia was easy, instructions for entry and checkout were clear. House was as described, clean and appropriately sized for our party. Might have been a bit tight if the kids were older. Neighborhood was cute though foggy most of our stay. Fun to see deer and wild turkeys wandering the area. Kids loved the nearby beaches, which were a very short drive away, and it was easy to get to Bodega Bay for groceries/restaurants. Russian River destinations also within range. No complaints!

We enjoyed a long weekend for a family reunion at Crows Nest a couple of weeks ago. Our son & his girlfriend stayed with us & family staying elsewhere visited for dinner.
While seemingly small, the house is so artfully constructed there is lots of room for a group. The kitchen is very well stocked! The view of the ocean & sunsets are lovely.
One of the best features is the fully fenced courtyard with flourishing nasturtiums. I enjoyed my morning coffee & watercoloring at the table outside & the young people played games there in the evening.
The home is clean & comfortable. We hope to return soon. Mia communicated with us promptly & patiently answered our multiple questions. She was always accessible & helpful.

Fits our family’s “Sheldon-like” standard for cleanliness. The surrounding yard was perfect for our grandkids age 3, 5 and 8. They played tag, flew kites climb the huge Cypress tree through a tunnel of branches and stargazed at night. The quail family was entertaining as well as the gophers that popped in and out of the holes. Proximity and beach access definitely a big plus. We did find 2 bathrooms challenging when we had all 7 adults sleeping overnight during one of the nights. Overall a good and cozy place for 3-4 night stays.

Communication with Mia and checkin is great, location is awesome. Perfect for our Dog. House is nice but outdated for the money and dishes where not all clean. We also could not find a tea kettle. Overall good experience, I would stay there again.

Our family of 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 baby really enjoyed our stay. The photos of the house are accurate - the house is dated, but clean. It was very comfortable and enjoyable. We didn’t experience any major issues, and we communicated with the host when we needed anything. Our dogs also enjoyed the house. The view is wonderful, the kitchen is well stocked, and the fenced in patio/yard was great for the dogs/toddler. We walked to the beach at the end of the road multiple times. We hope to come back soon!

I enjoyed the feeling of nature all around. I saw deer, lots of birds, two turkeys that displayed their beautiful feathers and quail. Cattle were usually grazing near the house in the mornings but the field is very big and they didn't stay in the area long. The patio is so nice. A picnic table with a checkered blue tablecloth and the largest nasturtium leaves I've ever seen. Thereis a long-range view of the ocean from most windows but walking to the beach for me was a problem because one had to walk on the road going down and coming up would have been too difficult for me. My grandson had no problem. There are plenty of dishes and utensils and places to get away from each other. It felt very private there. It is a close drive to many nice beaches and restaurants.

Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed available! IThe weather was perfect and the home was very comfortable. My friends did say they could have used a second bathroom upstairs, but besides that we had a wounderful time. I especially enjoyed my private bedroom and bath!

Renting Crow’s Nest helped make this one of our best family vacations. The views out of every room were amazing and the home was so warm and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, and had a table that seated our whole family. Mia was amazing to work with and answered any questions quickly. Our family created many memories at this beautiful home at the ocean. Thank you!

This was my family's 3rd stay at the Crow's Nest and we're already planning our 4th! This is a fantastic house for a big family gathering. There are so many little gathering spots to sit and relax, chat or play games. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen has everything you need and location is supreme. Close to the beach and great walks around the area. The check-in process is a snap! Mia is an awesome host, I can't say enough good things my communications with her. She is very quick to respond to any questions one might have and is very gracious and welcoming. We love everything about this place, it has a very cool vibe. Can't wait to come back and experience it all over again!

The Crow's Nest nestled my family in the cozy comfort of this lovely house by the sea. We all found nooks to soothe all of us, and nice beds to dream in. Even the little dog enjoyed the comfort of the king sized bed! We definitely recommend a stay!

Our group had 2 families and a pet and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Crow's nest. The cabin was more beautiful than what we saw in the pictures. We walked down to the beach and we also enjoyed the proximity the cabin has to local restaurants, and other local establishments. We are definitely going to come back and enjoy the property
Mia is great to work with. We had some change in plans, but Mia was able to work with us to accommodate it and she is always available on email and on the phone. Plus she always guides with every step of the booking including getting ready for the stay and after stay feedback. Thank you Mia!

This house was perfect for our group of 6.
It has plenty of bedrooms and space, both in and out with great views. The kitchen is dated but has everything you need. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood, a nice peaceful environment for walking or birdwatching.

We were gathering our extended family and wanted a nice place to spend time together, but also have access to the beach and nearby towns. The house is really lovely, with sweeping views across the hills and out to the ocean. A short walk leads to a really nice beach, and it is a few minutes drive into Bodega Bay. The kitchen has all the equipment you need, which is a nice plus. Highly recommended!

This house was the perfect getaway for a family birthday. Mia was more than accommodating, communicative, and helpful. The house was clean, homey feeling, and had all of the necessities you could think of. I hope we get the chance to stay here again!

71st birthday party/family reunion
We enjoyed the house and the panoramic views are as advertised . The house was plenty big for 6 adults and two kids under 2 and 2 dogs. You’ll see cows, many different birds; it’s a real nature retreat if you live in the city.
Can’t walk to the beach with young kids/elder adults as the local beach is on a steep cliff. There are stairs, but tough to bring all the family stuff. It’s a short drive to Doran Beach which was an awesome place to spend the day with the family.

I spent a week at Crow's Nest - 4 days with quilting friends, then 3 days with family. The property was simply amazing - views of the ocean from every room, a lovely enclosed garden patio, comfortable beds, a VERY well stocked kitchen, three full linen closets, and plenty of room for our sewing machines.

At the top of the hill we enjoyed both blue sky and fog. Close to the beach. Watched cows in next door pasture and birds and deer close by. Comfortable house. Nice spot to visit with family!

Perfect family getaway
Beautiful house close to the Portuguese Beach (dog friendly). The house is large enough for all 10 of us not to feel crowded. The host, Mia is very responsive and pleasant. This was our second time & we will be back!

Mins from the beach and a short drive to town. It was a wonderful trip and the house was a perfect fit for what we wanted to do.

The location of this house is incredible - 15 min from Bodega Bay, incredible views, private road, quiet. We really appreciated it being dog friendly and that the yard is enclosed. We had a lovely stay, it was just immediately clear that the house hasn't been updated, or really kept up with maintenance, in a long time. The kitchen drawers barely open and are really difficult to use. There is exposed wiring in the kitchen that is not up to code. The internet does not work for phones and service is bad, and streaming barely worked on the TV. In fact, the TV completely froze multiple times and we had to unplug it and plug it back in to fix it. The towel bar on the shower upstairs kept falling off. The fireplaces are a bit difficult to use, and with the cold weather, that is your main source of heat. The communication with the host was great, but for the amount we paid (a lot!) it feels like these things should be fixed and working right in the house. Thanks for the stay!
