Just off of beautiful Taylor Square, this two-bedroom, one-bath townhouse has everything you could want in a vacation home. Within walking distance to all Savannah has to offer, you’ll simply have to pick a direction to begin your day of exploration. The first floor of this home has a spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV, so you can spend some time catching up on your favorite shows. The dining table seats four and is right next to three floor-to-ceiling bay windows overlooking the private courtyard. The adjacent kitchen has been fully renovated and has a modern subway-style backsplash and stainless steel appliances. You’ll find additional seating and a grill outside, perfect for a gathering of family and friends. Upstairs you’ll find both bedrooms, each with their own access to the balcony through matching French doors. The first bedroom has a king-sized bed while the second has two twin beds. The shared bathroom has a shower/tub combo and pedestal sink. If you do bring a pet to this dog-friendly home, you'll be in a great location to walk over to Mother Matilda Beasley, the only dog park in the Historic District. A short walk to beautiful Jones Street will bring you to Clary’s Cafe, the setting for several breakfast scenes in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and a favorite breakfast spot for locals and visitors alike. Why Lucky Savannah Loves this Property: - The large, private and manicured courtyard is a Lucky Savannah favorite. With Savannah’s mild climates, many of our guests spend as much time enjoying the peaceful courtyard as they do the interior. - Browse for antiques at Alex Raskin’s, or tour the famous Mercer-Williams House on nearby Monterey Square. What is parking like for this home? Guests can find non-metered parking on this specific block of Taylor Street, and non-metered parking on Lincoln Street, adjacent to the home. Sleeping Configuration: Bedroom 1: King Bed Bedroom 2: Two Twin Beds We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more info.

We have stayed here a few times it is a quaint and quiet spot in a good location. The home itself is decorated with a wonderful art collection and is very cozy. The courtyard is beautiful and the kitchenette has just what you need for a simple meal or snack.

This was an ideal rental for my wife and me. The private courtyard with balcony off the bedroom was fantastic for us to get away for the weekend. The kitchen was well maintained and had all the tools needed to cook. The parking situation was great and I never had to worry about parking. The rental was clean. The great restaurants were less than a mile away and we were really close to everything. Highly recommend for couples that want to check out of the hustle and bustle.

We stayed for 5 nights and had an amazing time! The house was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. Very well appointed. It's one of those VRBO's that feels like a friend lent you their home to stay in. Those are my favorite kind. There is art on the walls, books on the bookshelf, pillows on the couch. It feels like a home, not an empty shell. We cooked breakfast and one dinner here and had everything we needed. The location cannot be beat. We parked the car outside the house and walked everywhere we went. This street is one of only a couple in the historic district that doesn't have metered parking. The outdoor courtyard was lovely and great for our dogs. I highly recommend this lovely little carriage house for a stay in Savannah.

The Gardenview on Taylor carriage house is in a perfect location and was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. The private courtyard with afternoon sun was wonderful.

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and had a mixed experience with this rental. Things we really liked: the backyard patio was beautiful, the location was great, the kitchen was very functional, the service by Lucky Savannah was very good. Things we disliked: the lighting throughout the house was poor and dim, despite being mentioned by previous tenants (not bright enough to even read under). The living room lamps were totally not up to the task; the apartment was not particularly clean. Things we strongly disliked: the living room couch smelled so badly we avoided using it, the mattress in the main bedroom was so soft and yielding it felt like a waterbed - I had to sleep in the single bed. For the price, we expected better.

This unit is in a great location for walking to everything in downtown Savannah. The street is very quiet and provided a wonderful experience. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The home is a bit darker than it shows in the photos and could use a few more lights - or maybe some overhead lighting. The kitchen appliances (stove and dishwasher) are small, but were fine to meet our needs. We did have trouble getting two of the burners on the stovetop to work.We would definitely recommend this home to others and will likely come back in the future because of its ideal location and cleanliness.

Highly recommend this cozy historic house! The beautiful and private courtyard was so enjoyable to sit in w/ a glass of wine after a day of exploring the beautiful neighborhoods and sights nearby. We walked everywhere…never moved our car from the convenient space right in front. The house had everything to make it feel like home. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely again when back in Savannah!

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home! It was perfect for our family of four and two dogs. We loved taking the dogs all around town (Savannah is so dog friendly!) and the ease of getting everywhere within a short walk. We would, hands down, stay here again if we travel back to Savannah. Can't say enough about this rental. We prefer a quieter experience when traveling but still like to be in close access to everything. This was it. In a lovely residential neighborhood, it's still easy access to all the places you want to go. The house itself was beautiful and well well appointed - particualarly the kitchen. And the courtyard....what a great place to spend time relaxing from the day, or planning the adventures of the day over coffee. Great rental. We will be back.

Felt like home as soon as we walked in. Clean, with everything we needed. The courtyard is lovely and we enjoyed spending time outside there with the dog. Walking distance to everything, free street parking, quiet with no tour buses going by. Don’t miss Clary's for breakfast just a few blocks away. This place loved up to the hype completely. It looked just like the pictures, was in the perfect location to walk everywhere with a 30 minute drive to the beach, and provided such a comfortable, homey, and lovely stay. Wish we could have taken the courtyard with us!! They even had an incredible book selection and some fun games for the rainier days. Next time come to Savannah, we know exactly where to stay! My husband, I and our Golden doodle had a great time. The house was perfect. Loved the outdoor space to let the dog off leash. The town is very dog friendly. We walked everywhere and never had to move the car once. We would return. Wishlist- if they remodel the bathroom- vanity top would be nice. But not a deal breaker.

My mom and I decided to visit Savannah for a long weekend, and this place was absolutely perfect to stay. We were able to bring our dogs too! The garden in the back was perfect to sit in and read, and gray for the dogs to run around a little. Savannah is def dog friendly, which we loved! The location was great, a 10 minute walk to Forsyth Park! There is a trolley stop for both hop on and hop off tours less than 5 minutes from the location. It was so clean, and just the right size. Check in and check out we’re a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again when I go back to Savannah!

This is our second stay at Gardenview on Calhoun, we come back for the courtyard, it’s special. The house was very clean, crisp linens, plenty of towels. The kitchen is very well equipped, including a coffee grinder (really nice surprise if you’re a whole bean coffee person like moi) so grab a bag of whole bean from Savannah Coffee Roasters and enjoy a cup in your every own courtyard. Two comfortable bedrooms, one bathroom upstairs.The house is a good walk to Broughton Street and all shopping and restaurants and, famous Clary’s is just around the corner. You’d want to drive to the riverfront. The famous fountain at Forsyth Park is only a 10 minute walk. The two streets the house is situated between is currently free parking, one block away is metered parking. The people at Lucky Savannah are very helpful and available by phone, email or text if you need anything. Overall, I highly recommend this historical carriage house and beautiful courtyard, perfect for your Savannah stay.

Stayed here with my fiancée and two Yorkies for a four night vacation in Savannah. The place was clean and cozy, had a great location and its own private courtyard. You are a minute or so walk away from Forsythe Park and a 15-20 minute walk from River Street. The immediate neighborhood is quintessential Savannah and absolutely charming—picture towering oak trees draped in Spanish moss and brick paved squares/parks every few blocks. If you stay here, visit Mrs. Wilkes for the best southern food anywhere. It is a five minute walk away, but leave early as there will be a line. Totally worth the wait! Visit the nearby Massey Museum if you want to learn about the history and architecture of Savannah. It is right across the street.Loved the place and would happily stay here again!

The property was clean and really cute. I liked the bedrooms being on the second floor and the large outdoor area. We had so much room for our family of 4. It was a quick walk to the river and also to a big park. We will definitely stay here again!

Nice! But had one issue.
We loved the home but had an issue with the AC. The upstairs did not cool down at night so it was very uncomfortable trying to sleep. We used the 3 available fans that did little to help. We are from Florida so we are used to the heat but at night it was just too uncomfortable.
