About this condo rental
Located in Truckee, this charming condo for $187 per night is a great choice for your next break. Although you wouldn't know it, our condo is 'next door' to the Trout Creek Rec Ctr (with its year round pool(s), hot tubs, steam room, sauna, work out/weights room, etc), the only local convenience/deli/coffee store in Tahoe Donner, and the Lodge restaurant/Pub/Golf Clubhouse/Pro shop. It's a perfect spot if some guests want to venture out by car, yet others want to hang around 'home.' Condo is set way back from the road so is nice and quiet, and overlooks the 18th hole through filtering, tall pine trees. Cozy 2-bed, 1 1/2 bath 'end' condo with parking. It's more like a townhouse with only one adjoining wall. Queen bed in both bedrooms. Small sleeping loft above kitchen/dining room suitable for older children and agile adults only. 2 decks with a tree-filtered view of the 18th green. Warm gas fireplace. Baseboard heaters in each room. Wood-beamed ceilings: vaulted upstairs. Quiet location at back of complex. Cable TV, DVD/VCR, and WiFi. Kitchen has everything we think you'll need. Laundry Room in complex. Many dates available, possibly at short notice. We may also be interested in a vacation home swap anywhere! Tahoe Donner is a wonderful mountain community in the North Lake Tahoe Truckee region of the Sierras, and offers an amazing variety of recreational facilities -- some for members and guests (you!) only. With your 'guest card' ($16 pp per day, or $11 pp if physically with a member) you gain access to the private HOA amenities. Children 6 and under - no charge. Take a look as there is 'everything' seasonally available: private beach on Donner Lake, cross-country and downhill skiing, pools, hot tubs, sauna, steam room, massage, classes, ping pong, tennis, horseback riding, mountain and road biking, golf, nature walks, stunning hiking trails ... and the list goes on! To us, it's like a 5-star resort. 10 minutes drive from beautiful and interesting downtown old Truckee. Plenty of shops and restaurants to peruse. Lake Tahoe shores at Tahoe City is a pretty 15 mile drive down Hwy 89 (which parallels the Truckee River.) Very easy access to Hwy 80. Half an hour or less to Reno, NV. 20 minutes or so drive to skiing at Squaw, Alpine, Northstar and Sugar Bowl, downhill, and Royal Gorge XC. No smoking, vaping, or pets.

The 2br condo was quite comfortable for my daughter & me. Detailed instructions were helpful. Slight glitch with stuff left out of order by cleaning crew but we got that resolved. Owner was extremely responsive.

Loved it! Super convenient, easy drive up the hill from Truckee and right next to ZMarketplace, yet quiet and surrounded by trees. Clean, super comfy couches and beds. Tons of windows and great lighting. 11yr old son loved ‘hiding out’ in the loft. Contacted owner during our stay and got a quick and friendly response. Hoping to stay there again!

Everything was comfortable and in working order in the Condo. The decor is dated and the parking lot and grounds are not cared for. The condo location to amenities and a nice walking trail was wonderful.

We enjoyed the space, it was comfortable and we especially loved looking right out at the trees through the gorgeous big windows. We would come back and stay again! Thank you Wendy!

My two daughters aged 13 and 11 and I stayed in Wendy’s condo for some spring skiing and it was fantastic. The condo is really cute and cosy and well equipped with everything you need. We spent one evening in playing games in the loft (lots of games are in the chest in the living room), built a snowman, and skied at Sugarbowl every day. More than enough space for the three of us. Wendy is a great host and answered questions quickly. We’d come back next year again!

My family rented this condo for 2 weeks and enjoyed their stay. Smooth check in process and great communication with owner. Looks identical to pictures and convenient walk to little market, golf course, rec center and The Lodge restaurant.

Wendy and Mike were excellent hosts and we enjoyed be close to ski resorts, town, and a local marketplace. They were responsive to our questions and then after we checked out, one of our children left their stuffy there accidentally. Wendy took the time to reach out to us about it and mailed it to us right after the snow storm stopped. She was thoughtful to ask what the stuffy's name is and sent us a note and photos of the snowstorm the stuffy just witnessed. Such a thoughtful gesture! Thanks Wendy & Mike!

It was a perfect place to stay for my family of four with two elementary aged kids. The condo was very clean and warm and communication with the condo owner was wonderful! It is close to Tahoe Donner ski area and also having the small market just a short walk away was a fun adventure for my kids. We stayed here in the winter but I'd definitely look into staying here in the summer as well.

We had a nice 3 night stay. The condo is conveniently located within Tahoe Donner. Ski slopes are just down the road. The Z Market next door has really good food and the rec center is great. The cabin itself is not fancy, but its clean and has a very tahoe cabin feel to it. It's a great place for the price. The owner, Wendy, is quite lovely. Very communicative and kind. I'd stay here again with a family of 4, but it is probably too small for any larger groups (in my opinion).

This was a very cute condo, with pretty much all amenities then you can possibly think of. Wendy, responded to every question, and concern that I had. Not to mention, that they have the most phenomenal Deli within walking distance, that you can possibly imagine. You will be very comfortable here ! The again Wendy😊

Nice spot for a winter trip. We used it for access to Donner Ranch and Boreal. Lovely scenic view from upper level living room windows- we spotted a coyote one morning. Kids enjoyed snow play outside.

Loved staying here. It was incredibly clean and very cozy. The views from the windows both upstairs and downstairs are just wonderful. Kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked all three nights. Next door is a great market so we didn't have to drive down the hill to get milk when we arrived. Very close to all the amenities of Tahoe Donner: Snowplay, downhill ski, pool, lodge. It might be helpful to some to know that the wall between the bedrooms are very thin and you can hear everything. It didn't bother us. Will definitely stay here again.

Walking distance from the Lodge w all its pluses. Also was walking distance from our daughter's family home. Good separation of living from sleeping area.
Nice & fresh smelling linens. All instructions were carefully written and easy to follow. The fireplace was deliciously warm.

We stayed for a week as basecamp for kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking and mountain biking in the vicinity. Owner was easy to communicate with, no issues encountered. Location is indeed very quite and convenient for many activities. The condo is perfect for a couple or family, it is on the smaller side.
