If your not feeling up to the crowds on the beach or the salt water enjoy lounging by the private pool or taking a plunge to cool off in the summer months. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a porch and a queen bed, Master bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath, plus another master with a queen going to the porch and one more bedroom with a bed and bunk beds. Downstairs there are two bedrooms with a full bed and twin bed each. Is it time for Mom to have a vacation? There is a great Massage Therapist just off the island. Want more perks? We can find them for you. Ask about Linen rentals for the family. The service provides towels and sheets for your week and you don't have to worry about bringing them or carrying them home. Golf packages can be arranged thru owner with great local golf rates on world class courses. Best golf is found in the Spring and Fall and we offer DISCOUNTED RATES at that time. Ocean Isle is a pristine beach, clean and quiet and perfect for family fun yet you are only a few minutes from great restaurants, shopping, an amazing number of world class golf courses as well as miniature golf, NASCAR park, and theme parks. Freeman's Place was recently remodeled, is quite comfortable and has all the features and amenities you want. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs, each has a full size bed and a single bed. There is a large bathroom in between. Upstairs you will find bedroom #3 with a TV, queen and a set of bunk beds. Bedroom #4 is a master with it's own private, full bathroom. It has a queen bed and a TV. Bedroom #5, a large master, is a sanctuary with it's own private bacony with ocean views. It has a TV, queen bed, love seat, table and chairs and a wet bar. It is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful ocean breeze. The kitchen, dining area and family room are all open and spacious. Featuring a dishwasher, refrigerator, oven and a microwave along with a washer and dryer. Great views of the beach from a covered porch with rocking chairs and picnic table. The house is equipped with WiFi, so bring your laptops - even busy professionals should have time to relax. There are 2 private, large outdoor showers with hot and cold water to wash the sand away. Wait there's more! We have beach chairs so you don't have to pack them in your already packed car. Many families have come back to enjoy this house year after year. Some have been coming for over 20 years! Have program for Golfers... Over 30 Golf courses available at greatly reduced prices. Loved this home because it was a real beach house. They're are a lot of houses to rent at the beach but so many have taken away from the feel of a beach house as they look inside as if they were any other house in a plain old neighborhood. This house has all the needs of your modern home but all the beach decor and layout that gives you the complete beach feel and experience. Not enough good could be said. We will be staying here again!!

This location had a lot of good and some bad. 1st, I want to start off by saying that we didn’t get check in information until 1 hour after our check in time. Imagine traveling for 11+ hours, arriving to a property, and not having any info on how to get in…. It was a bit of a nightmare scenario. We began our attempts to get this info at around noon for the 3 pm check in. After many calls, voicemails, texts, and calls to Vrbo we finally were able to reach the owner. It was not a pleasant experience sitting in our car with our dog and in 90 degree heat for over an hour trying to get in. So after all of that, there were some PROS and some CONS. PROS: 1.) the location is great. Super close to beach access and close to the center of town. 2.) nice set up. Plenty of space and rooms are nicely spaced out 3.) kitchen and dining area are really nice and big. It’s a great gathering space. 4.) the access to the golf cart was nice and it really helps you explore different parts of the island. 5.) the pool area was a true gem! Lots of sitting space, great shaded areas, and the pool is perfect size. 6.) the house is VERY pet friendly. 7.) the owner does have a passion for the island and genuinely wants to see people have a good time. CONS: 1.) the above mentioned check in situation. I cannot stress to you how awful this was. The number listed on Vrbo for the owner was disconnected and the other number I had was going straight to voicemail. You read all of the stories about people getting scammed and we assumed this had happened to us. I also don’t think this was an overreaction given it was an hour AFTER check in. We paid a good chunk of $$ to stay here and we weren’t too happy that we lost an hour of our stay and it was an hour of pure anxiety and tension. I also felt like the owner was not very sympathetic about it and kind of brushed it off. 2.) there was some confusion about the golf cart. It would have been helpful to include some info on where the keys are located. The sign in the garage where it is parked states that it is a $300 rental fee, but it’s actually included. I would recommend having a laminated instruction card or sheet explaining that stuff (no rental fee, where the keys are located, how to access it, etc). 3.) The place was not very clean. We actually questioned if the cleaning crew came that day. Some dead roaches, open bags of food in the bedrooms, pet hair and debris accumulated on the stairs and corners.

We loved doing virtual work and school here. Great kitchen, porches and location ! Love the dog treats too. Mr. Freeman is a wonder to work with. Thank you for sharing your home.

Arnold really cares about his tenants. He is very good with communication and I enjoyed his willingness to work with me during an unforeseen natural disaster(hurricane). Would love to come stay here in the future!

Walking in , the downstairs is laid out beautifully with a great kitchen and common area for all to enjoy. Having the porch on this level and two outside enclosed showers were nice . It was great having two bedrooms ,sharing a bath, on this floor . The layout of the second floor bedrooms was a little inconvenient due to the bathroom locations. Privacy was the issue. The upstairs balcony is accessed only through a bedroom which is not easily accessible for all. Bring linens or rent them ! Overall, it is a beautiful house and we enjoyed our time at the Freeman House.

Out family had the perfect amount of space and the location was ideal. The amenities are basic, but just enough for cooking meals in and spreading out in the house. The golf cart was a huge plus and allowed us to get around the island easily. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to next year already!

Loved the roomy front decks with rockers, and short walk to the beach. The golf cart was a big hit with the kids and made trips to the town center easy and fun!

Excellent stay at Freeman's Place. Golf cart is a great amenity but it is only a short walk to the beach access. The house was clean and every thing was in working order. Plenty of parking as well. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.
