We stayed at this property for a few days in October for a family vacation. We loved the location. It’s close to everything you need, including restaurants, shopping, and attractions. It’s around 30 minutes either way to the zoo, safari park, and SeaWorld. The whole family pool and hot tub. We used it nearly each day. Inside the home also includes lots of fun things for kids. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

Our family plus two stayed at this home in Carlsbad for five nights as part of a longer vacation in SoCal, and we had a fantastic time here. I would give La Costa Paradiso six stars out of five if I could. The pool and spa are basically perfect, and the rest of the house/property is great too. Booking and information was lla very professional also.
The home is very well-equipped, and the location is good, as well, with grocery stores and coffee shops nearby. Neighbourhood was very nice. Some very nice beaches relatively closeby too, although it was hard to convince people to leave the pool at times.
Ultimately, I would definitely recommend this home for a stay in Carlsbad area for a family etc, it was great all-around, and we had a wonderful time at the property.

Plenty of room for us all, very well kitted out with everything we might need (I loved that everything was labelled for ease!) and it was a really nice area with lots to do close by. The kids loved the arcade room and adults were able to relax with them entertained. Beautiful pool and hot tub, everything very clean. Thank you!

Our family had such a wonderful experience. The house was so cute and they literally had anything you could possibly need. The pool and spa was perfect. We spent hours outside having the best time. Our 9 year old had the time of her life! The landscaping was beautiful. Just minutes away from the beach and Legoland. We will definitely come back!

The house was in a great location. Everything you could ever need and more was available. From adult kids to 9 year old kids, everyone was taken care of. Fully stocked kitchen. Very clean. Perfect location to take in all the area has to offer. The outside area and pool were amazing. We had a great week.

The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the table fit all of us and the outdoor activities, pool, games and seating were just perfect. We enjoyed every minute. Destry was always helpful and responded to all our questions asap. The converted game room/garage was perfect for the kids to hang out after the 10pm quiet time. We enjoyed our stay and were so grateful for the time we had with our kids❤️ Thanks again Destry!!!!

My family and I decided to do a little staycation over Mother’s Day weekend and came across this hidden gem. We had a quick response from Destry and everything was transparent. Checking in was a simple & easy and as soon as we step foot in the house, we absolutely knew we were in for a treat. We had a great time lounging by the pool/jacuzzi, bbq’ing, and watching movies in the loft. Priceless memories to be able to look back on. We even accidentally left a few items behind and Destry went out of her way to mail them back to us. We definitely would recommend staying here!

The first picture of the rental is the pool, but you have to pay extra (lots of extra ) to heat the pool and spa. Not expected and not appreciated. We still had a wonderful time. The house is FULLY equipped for children of all ages with toys, baby seats, etc. Plenty of cookware etc. That was fabulous!!! It was a great stay and our granddaughter said she didn’t want to leave since the house was so much fun. When in the area again, we would rent the house again. It was lovely.

Great neighborhood, location was good, just walking into the home gave good vibes. Very well stocked with everything you could possibly want. Children had a nice time in the pool/spa after busy days. Would definitely recommend this home.

We were there during some cool weather and was initially concerned that the garage play room was going to be too cold since there really is not heat out there but the kids ended up not caring at all and just curled up with a blanket when watching tv. The house is set up so that different groups can be doing totally different things without difficulty. We paid to have the pool heated and the kids could not get enough even with the outside temp not breaking 60. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We took a 15 minute drive to the Leucadia Sunday Growers market which was awesome and made two trips to Legoland which is 12 minutes away. William and Destry were responsive and easy to communicate with. We tend to be picky about pillows so if you fall into that category as well I would recommend maybe bringing your own pillow as the ones there are a little hard when compared to the memory foam mattress making it a slightly uncomfortable combo.

This is one of those vacation rentals that you wish was your home! The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and plenty of space for the five of us. Kids particularly loved the garage play area and loft space. It’s rare to find a vacation rental that has so many family friendly features, including pool fence and stair gates, and it meant we could relax while the kids played. Location is perfect for the beaches and other San Diego delights. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully stay here again!

Our family stayed at the house for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Years. Our traveling party was my husband and I, our four children (baby, 4yo, 6yo, 9yo), and my in-laws who flew in from out of state.
The pool was really great, the charge for heating was reasonable, and the owners heated the pool to a very warm temperature that was great for our kids. We swam almost every day. Some of the pool toys were pretty worn, like pool noodles that were water-logged, but overall the pool was excellent.
The house has lots of toys for the kids, and everything seemed to be pretty clean. The kids really enjoyed the arcade. I would suggest the owners remove the baby walker that is upstairs; they really are not safe, especially in a house with stairs.
The beds were okay. The sheets could be upgraded. There weren't extra blankets that we could find.
Our main complaint is around household cleaning items. There was a swiffer-type mop but no mop heads that we could find, only 1 roll of paper towels, no clean sponges, and the welcome email stated only 1 week of toilet paper would be provided and we were expected to provide our own high efficiency laundry detergent. I find it ridiculous that we were expected to purchase these items when we paid over $10K for the accommodations. But overall our stay was really nice.

The outdoor area of the home was so relaxing and had everything you would want on vacation! We did have to be inside after 10:00 pm as you couldn't have a conversation without the neighbors (which are very close in proximity) complaining of noise. The house has everything you need! The three bedrooms on the first floor are very adequate. My caution would be that the 2nd floor bedroom is adequate for kids but not an adult/adults. We had all adults. Overall, a very nice place for a family vacation! Destry and William were great and made sure you were comfortable.

Great house for Family Reunion that has everything for all ages
Walking into the house we were all amazed of how nice it was furnished, with many areas for everyone to relax in their own space. Lots of games & activities to keep us all entertained, and plenty of toys for our grand-daughter who loved the house. Great outdoor spaces to sit by the pool and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the birds. It was a very peaceful neighborhood, and lots of beautiful yards. We would rent this property again the next time we are in the area!

Our Family Would Love to Come Back
Family of 6 - parents, then kids 21, 10, 3 and 3. Truly a perfect set up and location for us. If you have small kids, look no further. This place was truly set up to entertain our almost 4 years old boys, even when we were not in the amazing pool. Communication with the host was fair to good. The place was clean and well organized. A few small gripes:
-The upstairs bedroom it tough to cool down. Thankfully, we found a fan in the garage that we could use.
-We paid to heat the pool , but towards the end of the stay it if did not feel as warm as it was for the first few days.
-The landscapers who came on Thursday, were a bit creepy and took a long time. They looked into the windows a few times and were often on our phone. Thankfully, we were heading out and not wanting to use the pool at the time.
Other than that, a perfect stay and we would certainly rebook.

This was a great home to start and end our day during our business trip. We loved walking the beautiful neighborhood in the early mornings and the proximity to the La Costa resort for our conference was perfect. Relaxing by the pool on our off days with friends was great too. This property is fantastic and I hope it is available when we come back in two years.
