Nestled in Bald Head Island, this lovely cottage for $400 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Our home is ready and willing to host couples wanting to getaway and have a fully furnished private cottage on Bald head Island. We have a completely stocked kitchen, 2 full baths, screened porch and living area on the lower level; upstairs balcony off the master with views of the Bald Head Creek. The master bedroom has a new Pottery Barn King size bed for our guests. This Island jewel has been completely renovated with Pottery Barn furniture, accessories and linens. We have a 4 seat golf cart for your transportation needs. Our home is located in The Harbor Village district of BHI. Many amenities are available by a short walk. The Village is the center of recreational activities, such as stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and canoeing. There are several restaurants, Old Baldy our resident lighthouse, The Bald Head Island Chapel, and beach accesses 1,2, and 3. Our home is constantly monitored by security cameras for the safety of our guests and our property. Views by the cameras are those similar to views from public spaces in the street and otherwise. A short drive will allow you to visit several fine shops and our fabulous Maritime Market. From that container of 1/2 and 1/2 to fully prepared meals and everything in between, Claude Pope's fine staff will have you convinced that you don't have to bring anything.....they have it. They can even get freshly caught selections of seafood if you will give them a morning order and can usually have it on the afternoon ferry for your evening meal.

Cute little house for two people. Accessing the loft bedroom is a bit treacherous, as the ascent and descent is very steep. My wife has some mobility issues so that was a bit tough for her. The kitchen is tiny but has tools for cooking. The bathrooms are small and had no bath soap, we expected to have some there but we bought some at the market. The golf cart was a nice to have, it’s a bit slower than others but on BHI, one need not be in a hurry. The cottage is close to Jules’ restaurant and tram which is nice. Well appointed place with comfortable bedding.

This was our second stay at the Diamond and it is still cute as a button! Amazing that it literally has everything you need in such a compact footprint. Beautiful decor and many thoughtful touches. Beautiful view of the marsh. Very close to the beach. Perfect for two!

This cottage was fantastic for my wife and I to get away for a long weekend. Perfect size, perfect location, perfect host. We enjoyed the water views from the upstairs balcony/porch, the convenience to the marina restaurants and the cozy feel of this cottage. And Hugh was great to work with. We will be back!

We found this unit to be in a perfect location, walkable from the marina where the ferry arrives. Dining and shopping choices are within a short walk, and the golf cart is convenient for the rest of the island. The unit is relatively small but more than comfortable for two people. The owner is quick to respond to inquiries and provided clear and thorough instructions before our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again!

All the privacy you could imagine in a island paradise just minutes from the mainland. Wonderful shopping and restaurants with beautiful beaches. Baldhead Diamond had everything we needed for a week of relaxation with all of the comforts of a special hide away. Will definitely go again.

Lovely little house that was perfect for the two of us. Blissfully quiet but close to all of the Marina shops and restaurants. Beautiful view. Exploring the island on the golf cart was great fun. Already daydreaming about our next trip and we would definitely return to this same house.

This is a special place. Quite, great location, and completely comfortable. The water and coffee pods waiting for us were a nice touch. There were plenty of towels, paper towels and toilet paper. The beach chairs and beach towels were great. Even on some very warm days, the AC kept it nice and cool. Loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning. A deer walked down the street one morning and we were up before sunrise with coffee under the stars watching a storm in the distance on another. The stairs make the place unique and we were navigating them easily with a day. It has everything you could possibly need for a great vacation. Absolutely lovely place.

We went to BHI for the first time, to celebrate our anniversary. The Diamond was perfect—morning coffee on the balcony, evening wine and snacks on the screen porch. (kitchen was stocked with coffee and cream ready to go. thank you thank you!!!) The king bed was divine and loved having a bathroom both up- and downstairs. Golf cart was great for getting around and we really appreciated the beach chairs and towels for our trips to swim :) Can’t say enough good things about this little gem.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this cute cottage! It was just as we remembered! The check in is easy and the host is great! We love the location, close to the marina and restaurants and it has a beautiful view from the upstairs deck. I’m sure we will stay here again!

We really enjoyed the "tiny house" concept in such a convenient spot at the harbor. The hosts definitely made great use of every inch of space, and the home was not only charming, but clean and comfortable as well. We look forward to coming back! I would mention to anyone with mobility issues that they might find the stairs to the bedroom a challenge.

We stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The house is perfection for 2. It is well-equipped, clean, comfortable, and so cozy. We drank wine on the porch and loved the view of the marsh! Hugh is an excellent host—friendly, considerate, and quick and helpful with any questions.
