About this house rental
Situated in Bend, this charming house for $197 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Cute Craftsman in the quiet River West area two blocks from the Deschutes River at First Street Rapids park. Although the home has been remodeled over the years, it still maintains the charm of an original "lunch box" home built by loggers during their lunch breaks in the 1920's. An easy 5 minute walk to downtown or take the river trail for a nice stroll or bike cruise anytime. Enjoy all that downtown has to offer: shops, galleries, restaurants or head out to to Bend's famous breweries or mountain bike trails. The Deschutes River with Drake Park, hiking and biking trails, kayaking and tubing are just a short walk away and Mt. Bachelor ski resort is only a 30 minute drive. Your stay includes the use of two cruiser bikes with helmets and locks, a perfect way to explore the area. In the winter, you'll appreciate the large garage to store your skis, fat bikes, snowshoes and to keep your car ready to go! We also provide riding and hiking maps of the area and would be happy to suggest riding trails that fit your abilities if asked. Bring your kayak and test your skills at First Street Rapids. The Saginaw home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms so you won't need to share a bathroom-a rare find in original Bend Craftsman homes. Amenities include a washer/dryer, refrigerator, and TV with basic cable. The smart TV also has internet capabilities to access your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime or other subscription services-just log in. Enjoy the Charcoal BBQ and window a/c in the living room during the summer. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and access to the yard. In the winter months, the beds have down blankets with additional blankets for use if desired. There is a desk in the office area in case you need to bring your work with you. There is free high speed wireless internet available for use during your stay. In the warm months, enjoy the outside seating area and BBQ. The flower bed is a pleasure when in bloom and the apple tree and cherry tree may have fruit for your enjoyment. The Saginaw Home is kept immaculately clean for all our guests. Well trained dogs that are kept off the furniture during their stay are welcome with an additional pet fee. This is a really comfortable and thoughtful rental property. Can't beat the location, 10 minute walk (or less) to downtown, including breweries, restaurants, theaters. Very comfortable in both bedrooms, two bathrooms, equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, washer/dryer + cruiser bikes. Loved the snack in the fridge, nice touch. Pat was super kind in her communication. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay in this property was delightful. It had all the amenities I would want in a small property, so my family and I were quite pleased with the stay. The location is one of the best things, being within walking distance of downtown. The property manager was very responsive and friendly, and helped to make this a pleasant experience. Overall, we were very happy with this property.

This home was nothing but perfect. The location is close to the downtown area. Also very convenient to hikes and outdoor activities. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were super comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip.

Cute 1920s home, perfect for a place to crash between floating the river and checking out down town. There is a singluar window AC unit in the livingroom which lends the back of the house and most notably the second bedroom to be pretty warm in the summer. While the area feels safe, opening the windows isnt an option for all travelers so be mindful of a cool-off plan.
Otherwise, Pat is fantastic. The home is well kept and well appointed, the yard is beautiful,
and the chairs on the front porch are perfect for morning coffee! The sheets and beds are comfortable and the shower and bath are nice.

This house gives you easy access to bend and the river by walking or bike. Super awesome locatiin! Great neighborhood. The river trail is only 3 blocks away. One good size bedroom with bathroom and one very small bedroom with access to backyard. Host was great. Used their onsite bikes whick was awesome. They had a desk to work from off the kitchen but wifi was spotty. Great cherry tree in front yard. House is dated but clean.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. We chose this house because of it's proximity to downtown and because it had room for the four of us, plus two dogs.
We all quite enjoyed our stay. The fenced yard was great to hang out in and let the dogs meander about.
We enjoyed the bikes a bit, riding over to Drake Park and on the trail at the 1st Street Rapids park.
I'd have to say this is one of my favorite homes I've rented. It is a relaxing place to stay after being out and about all day.

We had a wonderful time in Bend for a long weekend. The house worked well for our needs which was mainly a place we could stay with our two dogs. The house was clean and well supplied. We were not at the home except at night as the weather was wonderful so we were out walking, hiking, eating, etc. The furniture could use a refresh as the sofa and love seat were not very comfy (sank down a ways on them) and the master bed a bit hard (but that is just my personal preference). The small yard was well fenced for the dogs. The location was good as close to the river and a trail to that very close.

The house had everything we needed, was very clean and the location was excellent-within walking distance to nearby downtown attractions and the Deschutes River trail. The interior of the house was tastefully decorated. The landscaping was nicely designed and made sitting on the front porch very pleasing. Two bikes came with the house which we used a lot to explore Bend neighborhoods I will definitely stay there again when I return to Bend.

Wonderful vacation
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The house was lovely and clean, in a very nice, peaceful neighborhood. Pat was so very kind and attentive when our daughter accidentally left a special blankie from grandma in the house after checking out. Thank you! We had so much fun exploring the outdoors around Bend and walking everywhere from the house was so convenient and nice in the mornings and evenings.

Wonderful house with a great location
Our family enjoyed our stay. It's a great 2 bedroom house walking distance from shops and restaurants, but in a quiet neighborhood. Being able to store our bikes in the garage was a definite plus, as was the enclosed yard (for our dog to run around in). I would certainly stay here again on future trips to Bend.

We found the house convenient to all we wanted to do . The boy liked the fact there were bikes to use. All the info provided matched with what we found at the house -- no surprises . If we ever get back to Bend we would try to stay here again.
