About this condo rental

Nestled in Victoria, this lovely condo for $90 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. License number 00035795 The Cityzen building is brand new, only a few years old and fuses history and modernity in the heart of Victoria’s Old Town. With amenities and attractions steps from your front door, this is the place to stay – from downtown cafés to waterfront walkways, there’s something for everyone. This one-bedroom condo is efficiently designed with 520 square feet and every square foot is maximized to increase the living space. Located in Victoria’s Old Town district, Cityzen is only a block from the waterfront and borders Canada’s oldest Chinatown. Walking the streets of Old Town takes you back in time to brick façades and the city’s culturally rich beginnings, while connecting you with the city’s most-loved downtown locales. There is parking available on the street and a parking lot available across the street. You can download the ParkVictoria App to make parking even easier. From expansive windows to a comfortable deck, this condo beckons the outdoors in. Urban-inspired, wide plank flooring, quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances add a contemporary feel, while heated tile flooring in the bathroom adds a touch of luxury to your everyday. Need to do laundry? Not an issue, there is a brand new washer and dryer located in the washroom with detergent available. To work or relax, there is a wall mounted 43 inch Roku TV with a host of channels. The Roku App will allow you to stream media and control the TV. There is also unlimited Wifi available at up to 150 Mbps for work, movie streaming or just googling. Parking does not come with this condo, but is available on the street and in nearby parking lots. Double-decker buses, afternoon tea, homes that look like castles, and pubs with names like the Sticky Wicket and the Penny Farthing... Victoria has long traded on its British affiliations. But while the fish-and-chips remain first class and summer cricket games still enliven Beacon Hill Park, the days when Victoria was more British than Britain are long gone. In Victoria 2.0, the food culture embraces fusion, the beer leans toward craft brews and the abundance of bicycles seems to have more in common with Holland than England. It's still one of the most British cities in North America, but there's more to Victoria than tearooms, antique shops and galleries (though there are plenty of those). Driven by the younger generation, the city has sprouted a collection of cool shops, authentic coffee bars and unique restaurants. It also has more cycling routes than any other Canadian city, providing a great way to explore the picturesque location (and avoid an afternoon of antique shopping). PLEASE NOTE: nearby construction may take place at sometime during your stay. We have not been provided with a schedule for this- it may happen during your stay, it may not. If you want more information, please send us an Inquiry message. By booking this listing, you are acknowledging that possible construction noise won't be an issue for you and that you understand that no discounts or refunds will be given for this reason. construction has finally started across the street, there could be noise during the day.

Paul and Takayo's home is absolutely beautiful! They have thought of all the important details to make your stay just like being at home. They provide all the details in advance to make the entire process seamless and stress free. The decor is modern and comfortable, probably the most comfort bed I've ever slept in on vacation! From beginning to end they have made everything simple and enjoyable. I will definitely look for this rental again on my next trip to Victoria. Many thanks!! The Branchflowers.

Bright & airy north-facing apartment. Super clean, relaxing decor. Fully equipped kitchen with basic food supplies and appliances. Great TV with basic apps we use. This looks like a shoes off place, we were glad we brought slippers. Only caveat (which was ok with us). No air con yet. In the summer, Victoria Victoria has cool mornings and evenings, and a temperature can sometimes go up a little in the afternoon. We made sure to open the windows and balcony door in the evenings and early mornings. And then closed them before we went out. The apartment stayed at a comfortable temperature. Steps away from lots of interesting places and restaurants. Street parking was always available in that location. When we wanted to ditch the car for a day our host recommended good parkades. Terrific hosts. On our last night we found out our host at next reservation in Nanaimo had double booked for our beginning night. No room! This wonderful host went beyond expectations and asked his contacts if they had any openings. They are indeed Super Hosts!!
