Excellent location, very central and right next to a pub. The room was quite dated but it was very spacious and clean and it was handy having the small kitchen. It was good value for the space and location.
A few small issues arose while we were there, eg no ironing board in the room and the room keys mysteriously stopped working. But the staff were always very quick to successfully resolve these so it wouldn’t put us off staying again. You have to park in a public car park a bit of a walk away, although you can briefly park at the hotel to unload. If you happen to be there on a Sunday or bank holiday the car park is free which was an unexpected bonus for us.

Nice location. The bed was comfortable.
The property decor is quite dated and our room at the back was very loud due to rows of air conditioning units on the building next door. The unit itself did not have air conditioning and the ceiling fan squeaked with each revolution. The stairs to the loft bedroom were very long which meant quite a climb for nighttime visits to the washroom. A nightlight would be a good thing.
One daytime staff member was a bit snippy.
