ROD & Gloria our hosts. This has been our best stay so far out of three vacations travelling together. The welcome was warm and time was spent over a cup of tea and slice of cake to orient us to all the island has to offer. Historical sites, areas of interest, cafes with gift shops, beaches and dining recommendations were all pointed out on a map for us to take along. The breakfasts were delicious, the beds like a cloud and the home spotless.

Everything: hospitality, room, view, breakfast, dinner. Everything was wonderful and Rod and Gloria do welcome you making you feel right at home. They made our stay even more pleasant and unforgettable. We wanna recommend the dinner: great food, wonderful atmosphere and at a fair price. Delicious breakfast: varied and for all tastes. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Rod provided a lot of info regarding the island and what is worth seeing. We changed our plan after this appreciated introduction to the Isle of Lewis & Harris. Thank you Rod & Gloria!

Very kind host, lovely and spacious room and ensuite bathroom and generous livingroom for guests as well.
There is not much to do or see in close proximity. But Stornoway is fairly easy to reach by bus - or by car of course.
