A quiet, clean and refreshingly cool place close to the Colosseum with delicious breakfast!

This B&B is a true hidden gem less than a 10 minute walk away from the Colosseum! We arrived earlier than our check-in time and contacted Aldo and he let his colleague, Jason, know of our arrival and allowed us to drop our luggage off in a secured room in the B&B. The room, number 3 at the B&B, was incredibly spacious and had plenty of room for the two of us and our large suitcases. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked very well, which was prefect for after the long, hot days of exploring Rome in July! The A/C was better than the Sorrento Hilton’s! We only had the breakfast one morning of our stay and we wish we could have had it ever morning! Jason did an exceptional job cleaning the room and preparing breakfast. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, clean and refreshingly cool place close to the Colosseum!

Very good

It was a great location close to both metro lines. Enjoyed our time in Rome immensely! Great restaurants and just close to so much. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good too! I recommend it to anyone staying in Rome.

Great stay

The location was perfect, close to metro stop and the Colliseum. Room was spotlessly clean, comfy beds and pillows, crisp fresh linen and powerful shower. Breakfast tasty and lovely presented. We were given info, advice and tips which were certainly helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay

Highly recommend, hidden gem!

My daughter and I were traveling for her College Graduation trip. The hotel was in a prime location, the room and bathroom was spacious and lovely, with the Coliseum down the street! The best part was the personalized assistance from the staff, who were kind, eager to please and very accommodating!

Everything we wanted and more

The room was wonderful. The ceiling adds character and it’s huge. Really cool and good aircon. Shower had good water pressure. The location is amazing, you come out and the coliseum is there, loads of restaurants around - Aldo gave us some fab recommendations. Super easy to get to two metro stations on different lines so getting anywhere was so easy. It’s on a main road which is great for easy to find location and for walking back in the evening. The staff were so helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was spot on. Can’t recommend or thank them enough!

Huge size bathroom, heated wooden floor, large bed and very helpful staff

Property is easy to reach from Termini station - ca. 15 min footwalk. Property has a huge size bathroom, heated wooden floor, large bed and very helpful staff. Communication with the owner was good, received instant responce and notifications.

It is busy street with traffic and activity of municipal services in the morning, hence some noise is penetrating through the windows.

Exceptional

Very close to Colosseum, close to blue & red metro lines. Room - extremely clean (the cleanest windows I have seen in my life...), pretty big and nice. Tasty breakfasts. Very nice & helpful Host. It was important to me to have a quiet room and it was quiet.

Fantastic stay - unable to find any negatives

Room was beautiful, clean, large , comfortable and with a view of Colosseum. Breakfast was delicious and delivered at the time requested. Would definitely stay again

Jason is the person in charge and he is a excellent host. Polite and helpful.

Room is very confortable, breakfast is good and service is amazing. The location is excellent very close (5 minutes) to Coliseum and you have public transportation as bus and metro really close. Central train station is 20 minutes walk distance.

The building is old. The main entrance door and hall inside could be more decorated and warmful.

Amazing

Everything was amazing! The room was very clean, comfortable, fully equipped with everything you need(towels which were changed everyday, shower gel, hairdryer). Breakfast was good, they serve you coffee or tea, orange juice, croissants, toasted Bread, Nutella, fruits, cheese, ham. The communication with the host was very good, they speak English really well. Jason the guy which took care of our breakfast, check-in and check-out was an amazing guy! He helped us with everything. One day it was raining and he gave us an umbrella! I really recommend this location !

The neighbourhood was a little bit noisy, but for us it wasn’t a disturbing thing.

Superb

Great locations, close to all the tourist attractions. Staff were brilliant and we’re there if you needed anything, taxis advice on restaurants etc. Bed was comfy and the rooms was air conditioned to a temperature of your choosing so we had no issues sleeping.

Could be quite noisy around 7:30-8 in the morning with trolleys and children of staff. Not to much of a problem as we were up by then, possibly an issue if you want a lay-in.

immaculate condition. absolutely wonderful breakfast, thoughtfully and artfully displayed. Jason went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and wonderful stay for his guests. The room was sparklingly clean. The room was charming with a wonderful atmosphere. close to bus stops and minutes from subway.

Absolutely wonderful

La finestra sul Colosseo is an excellent hotel I really enjoyed the room which was the cleanest hotel room i have ever stayed!The location is fine close to metro station manzoni near to colosseo.Furthermore i want to thank Jason for everything. He is the kindest and most polite host you can find in a hotel.He was extremely helpful with everything we wanted.Last but not least we went to rome in a period with 40degres in the middle of the summer and the hotel was cool and the air-condition was very strong . If you want to visit Rome La finestra sul Colosseo is the obvious choice!!!

Wonderful

Cozy Stay in Rome

Our host Jason was the man! He always greeted us with a smile, gave us a variety of breakfast in the morning, and was helpful with any questions that we had about Rome. The air condition was incredible and the room was spacious.

Lovely stay with a host who made our stay enjoyable.

Excellent location, large room, comfy bed. Good breakfast but mainly the host who went out of his way to make our stay comfy.

We would have liked a small table to eat breakfast at in our room. Not sure if it was due to Covid but breakfast was wheeled in on a trolley and I’m not a fan of eating breakfast in bed. There was a sofa but still would have preferred a table and chairs. Also a thin blanket as woke up cold or hot.

Ideal location for visiting the Collesseum.

Lovely clean room. Jason was a friendly host and knowledgeable about the local area. Only five minute walk to the Colosseum,ideal location.

Could have benefited from tea and coffee facilities in our room.
