A proper, old style pub. Comfy but unpretentious accommodation, great breakfast and friendly staff

Room was very clean and tidy, the breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly.
The location was ok but nearer to town would have been better

Location was good. Beds were comfortable, towels were lovely, and facilities generally okay.
The decor is quite tired and furniture is very dated.
We stayed on two occasions, and in both rooms it was very noisy. One overlooked the outside seating area and even on a Sunday evening at midnight there were rowdy locals shouting and singing, smashing glass etc. The front room was quieter, but we had to shut the window to reduce the noise of the air conditioning unit. It was very hot and there was no fridge in the room, the small fan provided was pathetic and dirty.
