We loved the easy access to the pool and being steps from the beach. our family was able to sit on balcony and enjoy the view. I was able to take full advantage of the sauna and steam room, which was a nice break on rainy days. It was clean and plenty room for family of 4. I would recommend to a friend and stay again.

Reviewer Comments: First let me say, this is the first time I and my husband have stayed here and I love this condo building because it only has 32 total units. We have been coming to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach for 25+ years and I enjoy a low-density condo building. Plus it is pet friendly and I had to have my 9lb Yorkie with us! The condo was adequate for me and my husband. We are used to newer and larger condos, but again, it was just us. I prefer king-size beds, this has a queen- which it clearly states they provide a queen size in this condo, my bad for not checking. There was no ice maker, but ice trays were provided. There is no drawer in the kitchen cabinets at all. Silverware sat out on the countertop. And there were only 4 dinner knives. The steak knives and some of the other utensils were rusty. I tried cleaning them off but to no avail. I just used ones that were not rusty. The washer and dryer looked like it was new and they worked great! Beach service /chairs and umbrellas are available on the beach. Not many chairs around the pool, but at times we were the only ones there. We stayed here before Memorial day, so the condo building wasn't fully booked. The parking lot is small, but I noticed there is a lot across the street. If the building is full of guests, I can imagine many guests would have to park across the street. We were there for 11 days and the elevator went down 3 times. All three times it seemed like the elevator was repaired within 2 hours or less. And one time it was on a Sunday, so great emergency service! If you can't walk up the stairs, be aware. There is only 1 elevator in the building. Most likely I will stay in this building again, but I may try and get a lower floor (just in case of elevator issues). Bender Realty was awesome to work with. I will certainly use them again to book a vacation stay!

At closer look, it was actually very dirty! There was literally gross hair and filth all over the bathroom floor. The dishes had a slight grime on them, so we ran them through the dishwasher before using. The towels were also tearing at the seams (I wish I could upload the pics!). But if you can stand it or care to clean it as soon as you get there, it’s worth it for the price. The location was absolutely perfect!The indoor and outdoor pools were great and very convenient to the beach while still being separate. The kitchen is fully stocked and there was plenty of room for our small family. And there are lots of great restaurants and shopping close by.I had read the previous reviews about the condition of the condo, so I was slightly prepared (although the bathroom was definitely worse than I expected). Management offered to have had someone come clean, but who wants to deal with that on your first day at the beach? I wish they would just be more attentive to the reviews to begin with.Overall, I would probably return (prepared with a mop and gloves). That location, directly on the beach, and at that price...we dealt with the filth.

Reviewer Comments: My daughter and I love the beach so we opted for a room with a beach view so we could open the door and spend time on the balcony. The first thing she did when we arrived was to run to the balcony door and try to open it. The entire lock came off in her hand. We could not even open the door at all.Called the next morning and they said they would send someone out to look at it. Someone came and he told us he would have to call someone else. He called me to tell me the company that would have to fix it was out that day for the parade and it would be the next day before someone would come out. We were only staying two full days and we still had not been out on the balcony. So the last full day that we were there someone came out and took the lock and left the door without a lock and did not tell us anything about when it would be fixed. We were able to spend sometime that day on the balcony but at night our door did not lock. It was not the warmest when we were there but we didn't care to enjoy the view of the ocean in our sweatshirts.You would think someone would check on the room before guests were to arrive to make sure everything was in working order.

Reviewer Comments: We have rented from Bender the last 7 years that we have gone to Gulf Shores and this year has been the worse for accommodations. Upon arrival we had to clean the toilets and the floors. The furniture in the living area was so worn and dirty that I had to spread the clean sheets used for the bunks on the couch and chair so we would have a place to sit. I realize I could have called the office and reported this and they would have sent someone to clean but after you've been a car for 10 hours you don't want some stranger cleaning while you're trying to rest. The unit had a stopped up drain in the tub so our first shower after our long road trip consisted of standing in 6 inches of dirty water. This was reported next morning and someone came to fix this. I find all of this unacceptable since we paid approx. $100.00 cleaning fee. Units need to be inspected routinely to keep management in the know about the condition of the units(closet doors missing, paint peeling in bathroom, kitchen faucet leaked constantly, ice maker could only be cycled manually). Very disappointed with condo this year.

My husband and I loved waking up and having coffee on the balcony while watching and listening to the waves crash in the morning. Out days was spent on the beach and at the pool which was so much fun and relaxing at the same time. The one day we had rain the kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We made friends with other families and their kids and they played everyday which also kept them out of our hair for entertainment. Our bed was so comfortable that I missed it when I got home. Lol. It was just perfect for our family. We will for sure be back I believe every year. It was bittersweet to leave. Thank you so much.

Didn't enjoy being awaken at 5;30 OR 6:30 in the morning to a barking dog who needed to go out. Furniture was warn. The overall unit needed some TLC. The View from the balcony was fantastic. We were able to watch pelicans dive and dolphins swim. Bender was easy and good to work with. They came the same day as we called to fix the dryer and a few other things.

I spent the entire first day of my vacation cleaning. The toilets were nasty. The floors looked as if they hadn't been mopped in months and although I know baseboards aren't something you wipe off every day, the baseboards in the unit we rented didn't look as if they had been wiped off EVER! Other than the bathrooms and floors, everything else seemed alright. The mop provided in the unit was not useable (completely filthy and worn out) and probably explains why the floors looked the way they did. The condo could be a very nice place if more attention was given to the cleanliness.
