Breakfast was very good, staff excellant, room clean with a selection of hot drinks.
Only thing that let it down was the toilet and the fact you could see and be seen by the other person, not private at all and if i'd been with a friend or sibling it would of been quite embarrassing, need to black the door out.

Just had a great two nights at The Buxton in East London. We've stayed around that area (Liverpool Street/Spitalfields/Whitechapel) a few times now and the hotel was in a great spot at the base of Brick Lane.
We got there early and it was quite, unassuming, stripped back - first impressions were 'OK!'. But over the course of the weekends, with the excellent staff (cheers Jennifer and Rebecca, Jacob and the bartender from Edinburgh), excellent and fresh breakfast, lovely rooms with everything you could need and excellent bar, it quickly grew on us and we could appreciate all the touches.
For value for money with everything you need in a central London hotel, I don't think we've stayed in better. Cheers!
For us, nothing could be dramatically improved - very happy.

A tasteful revamp of the classic "inn above a pub" type of rooms, they have kept what I missed about the old ones and updated only the right details to make the stay more comfortable. Really sweet and welcoming staff as well!
Honestly nothing; it was great. I would make sure to request a lower floor if you struggle with mobility; I was on the top floor which is a walk up, for me it was perfect as I had a romantic view of the Brick Lane rooftops.

Very central for eating out and enjoying this part of London. Great views from the rooftop. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Comfy room.
