Undoubtedly the staff. Extremely courteous and friendly at check in and breakfast. Caring and considerate when I felt unwell. Over and beyond.

The rooms downstairs suffer a little from the noise emanating from upstairs.

The ambience and setting were wonderful as were the majority of staff. The gluten free bread and breakfast were also excellent.

Unfortunately the main head in front of house was not very welcoming, was very dour and didn't smile when dealing with customers. The staff were also very overworked because it's rural and difficult to find staff but I do wonder if the presentation of the front of house staff is a factor sadly.
