The double room is large, clean and comfortable with a large bathroom. The bed was firm. A towel and bathrobe were provided, as well as a hair dryer and ironer. There were no toiletries, as stated in the booking description. The aircon works well and quiet.
Upstairs, there is a shared kitchen equipped with cooking essentials. I regularly used its stovetop, microwave and kettle during my stay.
The common living area and terrace exceed my expectation. From the terrace, you can watch the hot air balloons flying over Göreme.
Host Ali has a warm and welcoming personality. He arranged my airport shuttle and hot air balloon ride at short notice with reasonable prices. I paid direct to the operator in cash in Euro. I was also able to exchange euros for Turkish lira with him at a good rate.
Ali is knowledgeable and loves sharing information and stories about the area. He is generous too — on my first night and last night, he invited me to share a drink with him and other travellers. He seems to have an ability to connect his guests with one and another.
Ali's mum is a wonderful cook. I had dinner twice at the onsite restaurant and both meals were delicious.
If you're looking for somewhere that offers a great balance of price, quality and comfort, with a relaxed, down-to-earth, home-like atmosphere, this is definitely the place.

Very accessible location and close to the bus stand. Just walkable distance to groceries and tour agencies. Very cool place run by family. Can cook our own meal and terrace kitchen is superb and one of the best features of the property.
Nothing to mention much . Will visit again for sure.

This was a very comfortable hostel in a good location
I was told I could not check in after late hours and yet they allowed others to check in many times between 2 and 4am which disrupted my sleep. The prices for food and drink are expensive but it is a tourist town

Cheap and cheerful...
Basically loud and inconsiderate travellers. Do not be afraid of cutting off loud Italians who talk for hours without ending and running around inside outside like a headless chicken..
Also one was snoring very very badly.
Kitchen and bathroom could do with a renovation and just fixing non functional items like shower head and stuff..
