Situated in Pittsfield, this lovely house for $392 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Welcome.....we invite you to come enjoy the great space of our beautiful home with your family and friends in our unique 4000 sq. ft. custom built home with sleeping accommodations for up to 25. With 8 bedrooms, 2 full kitchens, 3 bathrooms and great outdoor space for relaxing and entertaining, we think it's the perfect gathering spot. The house is nestled in the heart of the Berkshire Mountains and situated between 2 beautiful lakes that have incredible views. One lake (Onota) is just a short walk down the street where you can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, picnicking and more. Feel free to bring your Kayaks, jet skis or boat and store them at our fenced in yard. The second lake (Pontoosuc) is just a short 3 minute drive. This lake also boasts beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and aside from boat and jet ski rentals, this area also has amenities such as on the lake restaurants with a view and golfing. Plenty of wineries and brew houses within minutes of the house. The season changes are amazing in the Berkshire Mountains. The fall shows off the beautiful mountains in spectacular colors and all the charming country farms are bustling with hay rides, apple picking and pumpkin fests. Winter provides an abundance of snow and our house is located just minutes from some of the best ski resorts and just a walk away from ice fishing on the lake. Spring jumps alive with the new and upcoming season of summer events. The summer season provides so many different things to do you won't know where to begin. The Berkshire summer weather is almost always perfect for enjoying the many outdoor activities the area has to offer. Be sure to check out the video showing the beauty of the Berkshire area. We are family friendly and cater strictly to mature adults and families only. We are happy to open up our home to those who wish to gather in a homey atmosphere for reunions, holiday gatherings, work retreats and social events, whether family or friends wishing to enjoy special occasions together, such as wedding parties, work retreats and friend getaways. We plan our annual family ski trip every January. We went to Jimney Peak. It was wonderful. The house was comfortable and close to the ski resort.

The house is clean, fully stock, lots of space for everyone as described. Hot tub is a big plus after a day of snowboarding. Thank you Margaret, we really enjoyed our stay.

This was the second time we have spent our 4-day Thanksgiving weekend at Margret’s house, having stayed there in 2021. (Another family reserved before us in 2022.) Of primary concern to us were the kitchens (yes, that’s plural), which were very well stocked with all the cooking equipment you could need. Having two stoves and two refrigerators was VERY helpful. The large main room we used for eating and gathering. A big hit was the pool table, and we also used the fire pit in the backyard. Last year we stayed at a place in Norwich CT that was twice the price and half as nice. Strongly recommend Margaret’s place.

While we booked the house for a week, we only had guests Tuesday night to Monday morning. The hose was the best presented vacation house we have ever had: immaculately clean and unbelievably well equipped. We wanted for nothing. We were especially pleased to have a second kitchen in the great room… perfect for serving our party guests. We had multiple contacts with the owner both beforehand and during our booking. We found the great room was chilly, and especially so after most of the people left. They immediately had someone come check on the heat system which completely solved the issue.
Really, the only suggestion we would offer would be to extend the parking area to hold more than 6 cars and secondly, to stock the second kitchen with glassware since it serves as the bar area. We did that to accommodate our party and it worked well.
Thank you to the hosts for sharing their lively home with us. It made a special party into just a perfect weekend.

This is a beautiful well appointed home. It has everything you need. We had 17 people staying at the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. Between the two kitchens we had everything we needed. Plenty of glasses, plates, cooking and eating utensils, towels, etc. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus. The yard was quite large and the fire ring had plenty of seating. The outdoor patio was mostly covered which was a blessing since it rained most of the time we were here, but we could still enjoy the outside. The very large family area was even better. Plenty of seating for everyone and we could all be in the same place. The beds were comfortable and the pictures accurately reflected the rooms. We had an adult sleeping in the “Captain’s room” and he thought it was great!

Margaret's place is spacious and well-appointed. Plenty of room for a large group to spread out and socialize, and with a hot tub and pool table, it's a great place rain or shine. I'd return in a heartbeat.

We stayed at this spacious home , 6 of us, 2 teenagers, 2 parents, 2 grandparents. It was ideal for basically hanging around. Excellent kitchen, pool table, game room, tv with expansive sofa. We played games, just chatted and enjoyed ourselves. Lovely atmosphere, we only ate in town once. We were able to bring along our elderly dog, who was a bit confused about being n a new house, but loved being with the family. She had a fun time too.

The house easily accommodated our entire team of 12 athletes and 2 coaches. Plenty of space, and the home has been recently updated. We were there in February for races at Jiminy Peak, so no lake activity for us. Easy drive to the ski area.
Margaret provided detailed instructions for the house prior to arrival, and was very attentive, though there was no need to contact her.
All in all, great stay and convenient!

The stay at Margaret’s home was incredible! The space is wonderful and comfortably fit a large group of over 20 people. Everything was clean and in great condition, including the spa that they pride themselves of. The two kitchens are extremely convenient, parking is spacious enough for 6 cars, and the neighborhood is cute. We loved all the lake-themed decor, and being within walking distance from the lake allowed us to have a great time without having to drive a group of people around.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, and I’d hope to stay here again in the future! It was perfect for our multi-cultured group!

Very accommodating for our group. We celebrated with 17 family members, and all were very comfortable with their sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is fully stocked with both dishes and cookware. Our family also enjoyed the spacious yard and firepit. Highly recommend the property.

This house was perfect for our yearly family gathering. The bedrooms were perfect for a family of 4. Plenty of room for all our stuff and the beds were very comfortable. The great room was perfect for all 20 of us. The fenced in yard with play yard was great, no worrying about the kids while we played our own games. We would recommend this place.
