About this house rental
Situated in Seaside, this attractive house for $417 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Please note: From June 15th until September 15th, we only rent by the week from Saturday to Saturday. The rest of the year we have a two-night minimum, except three-day weekends where the minimum is three nights. Our home sits right on the Promenade in Seaside Oregon and has unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean out five large picture windows on the front of the house. Enjoy whale watching, the surfers and the vacationers walking on the Prom. The deck in the front makes it very enjoyable to sit and sunbathe or read while enjoying music from your own personal recorded music device and the beautiful ocean views. The house has been totally remodeled with granite and marble counter tops throughout, tiled floors in some areas and hardwoods in others. The remodeling of the bathrooms even includes heated floors. We did however maintain the cozy warm feeling that a river rock fireplace at the beach brings, especially when it's stormy. In May of 2018 we did some major remodeling to the outside of the house. In May of 2019 we remodeled the top floor of the house to accommodate a more open concept and make it a kid friendly environment. With bean bag chairs for watching movies and a 50" HDTV with a dvd player, the kids will have a ball. We also made some major modifications to the "Man Cave" and the utility room. In the "Cave" there is a 50" HDTV with cable and a nice warm gas fireplace so the sports enthusiasts can enjoy their games in a retro-bar and then take a nap. There is also a foosball table. And there are dvd players on every floor so you can watch movies, as well as a couple of vhs players for old movies you might bring. The house is also wired, throughout the inside and also the deck, so you can enjoy your music on the top floor, the main floor and outside on the deck. The kitchen, which was recently remodeled, has seating at the table for at least 10-12 for those family reunions or larger groups. We also provide a high chair for the little ones. I know we've built some wonderful memories while sitting and eating. All the TV's throughout the house are set-up for watching movies. In addition we had the driveway and parking area resurfaced this fall so there is very little left we could improve. In closing, our cleaning crew cleans a number of high end properties and are trained to meet all of the COVID-19 cleaning requirements. It’s time to make that reservation! We loved staying at this house. Plenty of space for all to sleep, big table to eat at and play board games. Walking distance to shops and pub and restaurant.

The home was perfectly located to town and other attractions. Beach was awesome! Only odd thing was the basement was damp and did smell of mildew. I kept emptying the dehumidifier. We didn’t use the basement. The floors and handrails were sticky and we had to wipe them down. The bedding must have been washed in heavy bleach, very strong smell.

We enjoyed our stay at The Prom House. Seven adults stayed at the house and four others visited with us from lunch thru dinner. There was room for all of us to visit around the large table or in the living room. The beds were comfortable, ample towels were provided (including beach towels which we didnt need), the kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements and appliances. The view of the beach and sunset is wonderful. The house and patio are great for people-watching too. The bathrooms are nicely updated with heated floors. The living room is homey and comfortable with a nice gas fireplace.

We enjoyed this beautiful home on the quieter end of the Promenade. The views are great and we appreciated the easy walk to the beach. All of our sons weren't able to join us, but my nieces and children popped in and spent a night each. The home is comfortable, with plenty of beds. It was a fun house for hide and seek and the beach toys and kites added to the fun at the beach.

This place is right on the ocean front, and just a bit of a walk from the main drag. House is charming and there are just tons of beds and sleeping options throughout. It's well stocked with games and such, and is a couple blocks away from The Osprey Cafe which is a fantastic restaurant. I would totally stay here again.

Our extended family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days 3 nights at Prom House and wish we could stay longer. The house is so beautiful and attractive from the outside. The view is gorgeous from every window. The house is spacious and has everything we need that makes us feel right at home, even toothpicks!!! We loved sitting outside in the evening enjoying the sound and smell of the ocean and peacefulness away from the crowds and noises. Yhank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back.

We loved our stay at this home. It was just as advertised online. The beach is your backyard. My kids loved hunting for sand dollars when the tide went out. The Prom is right out the door, and you can walk to Seaside. There are four bedrooms, plus a large bonus room with extra beds. The kitchen was roomy and beautiful with huge windows looking over the ocean. The front garden was so cute and a perfect place to people watch. The house was clean. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, dvds, playing cards, extra blankets, pack and play and books around the home. We had eleven of us in our family staying, and there was plenty of room. Check in and check out were easy with no extra fuss. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a marvelous stay at our Prom house. 3 steps in and my 92 year old mother could easily navigate her walker around main floor and we even walked path to beach♥️My granddaughters claimed the large open bedroom upstairs and loved it. My grandson was so pleased to have his own little room. An older beach home full of charm and so cozy. Loved the large dining table which allowed all of us to dine together and play games together. We had a perfect stay.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The variety of sleeping areas worked well for our group. The location is perfect and the ocean views are amazing. The owner is very quick to respond to questions. The one suggestion I have is to repair or update the appliances. I would highly recommend this property.

Amazing weekend with the beach at our front door. Made the trip to Seaside with an infant, grandparents, and dogs and the Prom House was the perfect setting for our trip. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the ocean were just wonderful.

Towels are greats Nice size table for many to sit around. AMAZING VIEWS FROM LOTS OF WINDOWS…Just an absolutely perfect vaca spot in Seaside.
One recommendation is to update the appliances and dishes/cookware. Needs some good wine glasses. 🍷

This place works out well for us, it great to have a place we can all be in the same house and close enough to activities to make it lots of fun. The kitchen was great for our needs, lots of things the littles loved playing with. We like being on the ocean. Plenty of room to spread out.

The views were incredible! We had such a lovely trip. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us in nice, clean, comfortable beds. We walked in to town for dinner each night. It is about 3/4 of a mile to town on the Prom. We also stayed in one night for a great dinner and then games downstairs in the fun, funky bar/man cavewith a warm gas fireplace. Communication with caretaker and owner was exceptional! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

This is an unbeatable location, steps from the beach, walkable to shops and restaurants, and drivable to everything on the coast. We were very happy that our larger group all fit into one house.

Amazing view! Beachfront on the Prom - can't be beat. We've been to Seaside several times and this was by far our favorite property. This rental was perfect for our extended family over the weekend holiday. Plenty of rooms and beds for our group of 9 people. Kitchen was well equipped to prepare a large meal around the dining table. Communication with the owner was terrific. We would highly recommend this rental!

We rented this adorable, very clean property for a family reunion/60th anniversary celebration. This 3 story home is perfect for the whole family, the kids loved the basement to play games and could be a little bit noisy while we adults visited. The kitchen was well stocked for making large meals together and the table is a great size for your family/friends to sit together for a meal or to play games or put puzzles together. Sit on the patio and watch the waves roll in, it is right across the promenade and out to the beach. We will definitely look for this house again for our next weekend getaway to Seaside.

Great pet friendly home for our all adult family. Perfect beach front home on the Promenade for easy access to everything. Small market and couple of restaurants close by and of course many more options an easy walk & less than a mile away. Lots of parking. Nice path to the beach. Great ocean views. Small cute fenced yard for your dog. Large table for gatherings & plenty of kitchen space. We didn’t use the basement but it’s a nice bonus area. Only thing that’s needed is the front area rug needs cleaned, otherwise clean home. Lots of bonus chairs, grill etc in the garage to use.
Definitely will stay here again. We all enjoyed it here. Thanks!

The Prom House is everything you need to comfortably stay in Seaside. There was lots of room to move around, cook together and have fun! We’ll equipped with everything. I gave it a 4 in cleanliness only because the rug in the living room needs shampooed - but this is a pet friendly house! Awesome front yard/patio and a short trail directly in front. It was fun being on the prom and watching the activity!
The stairs to the 2nd floor are steep, so you might want to keep the elderly on the main floor. Marci the owner is a gem. We will be back!

My family of 11 & one dog had a nice stay here in August 2022. I especially enjoyed the view from the upstairs master bedroom & kids room.
It was a short walk to the beach, which was quieter right here. 😌 loved the front of the house with the 2 long built-in benches

We had a lovely time staying at this charming, unique home right on the beach! The house was perfect for my family of four with plenty of room to stretch out. The bedrooms were cozy and you can hear the ocean while you sleep. The house was immaculately clean and check in and out was effortless. Marcie is an amazing host and quick to respond to any needs. This place was great. I would stay here again. Plenty of parking. Plenty of room to spread out. Plenty of beds for a solid night's sleep. Plenty of room to have more than 1 cook in the kitchen. Grandkids loved finding the snails in the flowers for their "pets." We saw live crab being washed up in the surf, live sand-dollars, and even found a treasure map which led to a Pirate's Buried Treasure Chest full of Pirate Booty! (Ok, so perhaps this part was not part of the rental.) Any very minor issues were swiftly taken care of. It was very relaxing and beautiful trip.

The house was older but well maintained. The accuracy of the online listing was docked 1 star only because the basketball hoop shown in pictures was not available (it had apparently rusted out), and the outdoor music system was not operational (but personal blue tooth speakers made up for it). The location was a bit of a walk to Broadway, but we knew it would be and the price reflected the distance. The location was a little more quiet than closer to Broadway, which was nice. The kids enjoyed the basement, playing the video games they had brought and plugged into the TV, as well as the foosball table. They could make a lot of noise down there and you didn't hear it on the main floor, which was great. There were great ocean views from the kitchen, living room, and upstairs bedrooms, and the large kitchen table was great for socializing and puzzles. The main room upstairs is a walk-through bedroom on the way to the master bedroom, but we stuck all 5 kids there and it worked out great.

So clean and comfortable! The home was perfect for our family - my husband and I with our dog along with my brother, his wife, and their two boys ages 10 and 6. Loved the views from the dining and living room. Also loved sitting on the patio with the provided furniture. We spent many hours on the beach and made good use of the beach chairs and toys. We also got a little cookout in thanks to the provided grills. Great home for a beach vacation for families with kids and a dog. Thank you!
