It’s filled with small bungalows and boutique hotels that are just steps from the beach, Stearns Wharf, State Street, Funk Zone, and the Harbor. The Brewhouse, Toma, Jeannine's Bakery, and Chad’s restaurants frequented by locals, and Amtrak station are all close by making the walkability that much better. Walls of windows bring maximum light into this airy loft. The spacious Living Room is surrounded by an updated Kitchen and galley style Dining space. A custom breakfast bar and reading nook flank the dining table adding additional seating for larger groups. The Bedrooms are inspired by the coastal modern aesthetic connected by a spa-like Bathroom. A private outdoor deck offers additional lounge seating underneath the palm trees. The Lookout sits above The Cottage at West Beach and The Hideaway at West Beach, each offering the similarly unique design and amenities. All 3 units of this Triplex are available through Paradise Retreats. Imagine a wonderful family reunion and rent all three! Note: Parking for 1 car in shared double garage. There is street parking with time restrictions on the weekends. HIGHLIGHTS: - Walk to the Beach & Downtown! - Option to rent all three units - Newly Renovated & Designed POLICIES: - Guest agrees to electronically sign a Reservation Agreement (emailed within 24 hrs of booking). - No smoking on property. - Not suitable for pets. - No party rentals or hosted events. - Check-in time is 3:00pm or later. - Check-out time is 10:00am or earlier. - Quiet Hours are 9:00pm - 9:00am. Lookout at West Beach was a fabulous stay. The apartment was just perfectly located near restaurants and shops, close enough to bike everywhere with the provided bikes. Everything one could possibly need was available should one want to cook or BBQ with the fully stocked kitchen. Comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels including beach towels. 2 minute walk to beach, 5 minutes to State Street. Well recommended - probably the best short term rental we have stayed in!

Location unbeatable. Walk to everything, oceanfront one block away. Terrific upper level unit, incredibly clean and well kept, sophisticated and yet relaxed. HIGHLY recommend!

The property was perfect and just as described on VRBO. We were coming from a hotel stay and really looking forward to experiencing a neighborhood in-town feeling and this place delivered. Very close to beach and shopping and the bikes and beach gear was a nice touch. Even cooked a few meals there as the views and vibe were just a s nice as any restaurant would be. We were in Cali for a 10-day vacation from SD to SF and this was our favorite place of the week. Can't wait to come back and enjoy more of Santa Barbara.

We so enjoyed relaxing in this condo for a long weekend in Santa Barbara. Very convenient to the funk zone and the beach. Will look into staying again for next trip to SB! Make sure you check your email for the paperwork that needs to be completed. If checking in late, it’s a little challenge to find the driveway to park. It’s really great to have a garage, made it easy to store bikes.

From beginning to end our stay at The Lookout was perfect. It exceeded our expectations. One little glitch at check in was handled so efficiently I barely remember it. 😉 Whenever we head to Santa Barbara this will be my first choice to stay. Staff is excellent at communicating, helpful with local vibes, and not intrusive once you check in. The noises others spoke of (Hotel Milo, garbage trucks, etc.) were not an issue at all for us. So much to do/see within walking distance. The property itself is charming, clean, and very well cared for. The neighborhood is also charming, clean and well cared for. The apartment has been thoughtfully decorated and is stocked perfectly. We look forward to our next stay!

Fabulous location. Easy walk to the beach and the restaurants and shops in the Funk Zone. We also used the bikes they had to enjoy strolling on State Street. Very cute place with super comfy beds. Super responsive management when we had any questions. Would stay here again! (We were three women in our 40s.)

We showed up, and our property manager was there, Carol was so happy to walk us through and give us recommendations. They even had a pack and play for our baby girl. Only issue- directions on the knob for the shower (hehe) This was an amazing stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Lovely space, perfect location. Felt very safe and secure. Loud on Thursday morning with garbage pick up and alley way. 3 bikes to use, unfortunately one had a flat tire we were unable to repair. Loved that we had a private garage. Overall wonderful stay!

My group and I stayed here for a long weekend, and we were able to walk everywhere that we needed to go. It is a 30 second walk to the beach, and at the most you are walking 20 minutes to get anywhere else.
