Basically it is definitely good value for money, and we will no doubt to use again.

Very convenient location to 101 and local amenities. It is very clean with all the essentials. The bed is comfortable and we are able to have good sleep.

The toilet and shower room is a bit cramped.

Overpriced: old building, weak WiFi, uncomfortable room.

Good location. Good AC unit.

This hotel is an attempt at making a modern experience out of an old building. Other users wrote about the odd-looking entrance and the hotel being located at the 5th floor, but for the price I was expecting way better inside. My room was facing a construction site, which added to the very noisy street in the very noisy neighborhood, luckily at least I didn't have to deal with unruly guests. The problem is that sound insulation from outside is non-existent: The old windows don't close well, and walls are thin enough (I assume thermal insulation must also be a disaster). Beds are comfortable but pillows are not. Cleaning could be improved: I found dirt and hair around the bed and rust in the shower. No toilet paper hanger in the tiny bathroom. No glasses provided in the bathroom, luckily they provided me two coffee mugs and I was alone, so I used one for the bathroom. No instant coffee bags provided in the room, luckily you can get them for free at the reception desk - but I had to ask. The lamp in the room is hanging too low, I was constantly bumping my head on it. The curtain had some broken hooks, so it was not hanging well. The mirror in the room is not fixed to the wall, but standing on a weird, unstable cabinet on wheels that was acting also as a coat hanger and umbrella holder - provided you turn it so the mirror is facing the wall! Finally, the WiFi was terrible. I connected to a range extender that was just outside my door (the hotel staff apparently didn't even know it existed, they only gave me access credentials for another, weaker WiFi, I noticed the extender and connected to it by myself) but despite the apparently strong signal the connection was very poor. I understand this is very close to Taipei 101, embassies, convention center etc, but frankly I felt this place is way overpriced.

Superb

The hotel is clean and the location is convenient. They provided tea and coffee, drinking water. Friendly staff.

Not much choices for food, but walkable distance to a few shopping malls for restaurants and food court. My room is beside the main road, not so quiet at midnight. Overall still satisfied, recommended to friends!

you get what you paid . I know next time I will not be booking here !

the lobby on first looked sketchy…. then when you arrive to the lobby it’s very small . all the rooms are on one floor. carpets smells and looks dirty. the rooms maintenance is very home done. the room door doesn’t look or feel like it will be secured. the doors are very thin you can hear conversations in hall way.

Pleasant, comfortable stay in a convenient location

Taipei Members Hotel is a nice property on the 5th floor of a large block, so initial impressions were not great, but as soon as you step out of the lift the environment is pleasant and the staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed twice in one week and on our second visit, we were upgraded to a larger room. This was super kind of the receptionist and really made us feel welcome and comfortable.

The ground floor entrance feels like a slightly tatty office. But as soon as you get to the 5th floor the environment is pleasant, aesthetic and clean.

Really nice stay overall, really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again

Really nice place to stay, short walk away from train station, Taipei 101, and night markets. Ordered the breakfast package as well and the breakfast was delivered every morning and was really yummy. Good amenities provided, room was clean and very comfortable. Staff was also really helpful and willing to help us book a taxi to the hotel. Also allowed to store luggage at hotel before check in which can be very convenient.

Can be a bit confusing as hotel is known as both Good Hotel and Members hotel.

This was great place with a good location.

The location of this hotel is great - very close to Taipei 101. Our room was clean and comfy and the people at the front desk were very friendly. It's on the 5th floor of the building it's in. We enjoyed the projector TV (although the volume didn't go up very loud). We would definitely stay here again.

We paid extra for a room with a window, but the window just opened up to the AC unit and building next door. The area might have even been covered because it was very dark out there. Definitely don't spend more money for a room with a view because that was a waste.

only spent one night. small room, old building, but clean, roomy bathroom and a small balcony. reasonable view feom there and many shops near.

room is a bit small, entrance of the building doesn't look inviting. near a busy road, but not bothersome.
