East Beach Vista - has an unbeatable location with easy access to all that Santa Barbara has to offer!
This fresh and comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath home is located less than a block away from the Pacific Ocean and East Beach. East Beach Vista is equipped for comfort- the kitchen features new appliances and plenty of amenities to delight the budding family chef. The dining area features a generous window bench that allows for views of the ocean and the lovely neighborhood park across the street! The couches are new (not reflected in photos) and emulate the ocean blues that can be seen from the living room window.
The main bedroom is equipped with a comfortable King sized bed, and the second bedroom has a Queen bed. Ideal for up to 4 people, East Beach Vista is a wonderful home base while exploring all that Santa Barbara has to offer.
As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months.
Not only is this home within walking distance of the beach, guests can also enjoy a leisurely stroll to the Santa Barbara Zoo, the East Beach Batting Cages, Tri-County Produce, multiple great food places (like East Beach Tacos or Convivo!), and more! The Santa Barbara Electric Shuttle stop is just a ½ block away and only costs 50 cents to ride, and the shuttle takes you to Stearns Wharf, Santa Barbara Harbor, up and down State Street, and more!
Please note that East Beach Vista is the front unit of a duplex and only street parking is available. As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this unit does not have A/C. Because of the neighborhood park and close proximity to the street, some noise is to be expected. Laundry facilities are shared with the back unit.

Thank you for the birthday card and sparkling cider for my son! We enjoyed our stay, great location and the condo was clean. Everything we needed was already provided. Would book here again

The property has things to recommend it; unfortunately, the unresponsive, anonymous management company was a dark cloud over the experience.
This is a single home that has been converted into 2 units. We had the front unit, closest to the street. We were not aware that the home had more than one unit when we rented. The location is a plus with one caveat. You are a block from the beach and cheap transportation to the downtown area. You are also feet from a busy street and very nice park. Unfortunately, there is noise factor, both from the street and organized sports being played in the park. Things calm down about 9 pm and the nights are quiet. If you like to sleep past 8 am, you might have an issue. I use an ambient noise machine, which helped, but I was still awoken by the outside sounds.
A big issue for us was parking. From the pictures you can see you have a driveway and garage, but the front unit is forbidden to use them. I say "the front unit" because there were cars consistently in the driveway and garage (one with out of state plates and one with CA plates), but our instructions were that we had to use on-street parking. With the heavy use of the park right across the street, close parking was not always available. We solved this by keeping the car put and incurring the costs of Lyft rides.
Laundry facilities are outside of the unit in a small room attached to the garage. We were to use them only on odd numbered days, the back unit used them on evens. Since there were only two of us we were fine. A larger group might have an issue.
The main reason we would not return was our interaction, or lack thereof, with the management company. When we got the contract for the unit, there was a question about acceptable forms of payment. I called the office and spoke with J. She seemed a bit flustered, but figured out this clause did not pertain to us. I wanted to ask her a couple more questions, but she was very anxious to get off the phone. That was the last time I was able to "speak" with anyone from the management company. The rest of the communication was via anonymous texts.
We initially had an issue with the tv. It has a very small channel selection. I texted & asked for assistance. In return, I was emailed a channel guide. This did not address the problem. I asked for someone to speak to directly. Didn't happen. Then I was told property specialist, B, would speak with me. Never got that call either. We gave up and just made do.
