The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful place surrounded by mountains and a water stream running at the bottom of the valley, which makes it a great place to relax.
There's a mix of places to visit nearby, like historic places or vineyards, or if you're feeling sporty, go on a hike or run uphill.
The breakfast had a good variety of food.
The room setup is not great since the refrigerator is a bit noisy and disturbs your sleep.
The room could be more functional by having a coat rack, and the same goes for the bathroom.
The spa doesn't provide a good experience, since to make use of the sauna, you need to go from a heated space to an area which is not completely isolated from the cold exterior temperatures, and you feel a big temperature difference, at least on colder days.
While using the sauna, I couldn't stand in front of the door since there was cold air entering below the door, which made the experience uncomfortable.
Some of the food at breakfast was lacking quality for a 4-star hotel, like the scrambled eggs and fried bacon.
